The whole show lost it's charm despite going for bigger and flashier stories and FX... Then they switched back, and the actors breathed a sigh of relief. They had the audience back to gauges their work off.

This sequence is at the tip top of the list of reasons why I'm stoked for TMN animate series. I hope they stay as true to events as Scanlan's raid of Vedemeyer's house in TLoVM.
It's such an extra cherry of funny when all of these other animatic bits have the Nein looking handsome or pretty or just accurate, and then the last segment has them looking like they came straight out of Zelda CDI

This collab sure has some great shots from each of the artists’ distinct styles going on, like 5:28 and now Beau is envisioning Marion while she still is under the effects of Caduceus casting True Seeing and Calm Emotions on her. I’m sure you and the others who worked on this feel proud, Charlie.

Just watched 97 and my friend sent me this, and I can safely say that THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This moment was already great on it’s own, but you and the other artists gave this even more life and I am obsessed with this now!
In my mind he's a perfect example of someone with low INT but high WIS. Doesn't know specific information and struggles to remember facts and figures but is the best at reading the room and people around him.
One of the best scenes of campaign 2 and the art captures it incredibly well! Beautiful and hilarious. Honestly, if I had been Beau, I would have acted like I could hear Matt narrating and describing situations, a very " God is that you?" Senario. 😅
Plus, they are voice actors IRL, so they have PLENTY of experience with faking a different personality. Just the difference is there is no "script" per sey in DnD

What makes critical role more impressive than their acting or anything is how good they can improv. That whole cast is just so naturally funny
