- Well you guys, this video today took me for a wild ride. What started out with an idea, completely morphed into something totally different. Have you every tried to do the Bloom technique without using house paint as your pillow paint? Well, if you haven't, watch me and see what happens. It's pretty wild and crazy with the results.

You know what they say. If at first you don't succeed, it's only paint. I love the bloom. Thank you.

Cette fleur est superbe Brian , vous avez essayé une autre technique, c'est très réussi. Jessy ❤
Great job! I can't believe you haven't tried this one before. Beautiful..it will be stunning with resin. Thanks for sharing😊
thank you. I knew i'd get a "bloom" result but I wasn't sure how the AL was gonna play. Quite surprising result. 😀😀

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your support and thank you for watching and commenting. 😀😀
This is absolutely amazing!!! Hmmm maybe blooming without house paint is a very good thing!!!! I admit that I dont like the thickness of the pillow paint so I think I will try your strategy instead!
I love that painting that is to the back of you.
Thank u 😊
Super painting. Colours and composition stunning.
thank you 😀
I tried a deconstructed bloom without house paint before and it came out nothing like this, even before tilting it. This is so cool! The switch to a bloom definitely worked!
Thank you August. Those dang deconstructed blooms are so much fun but man they are hard. LOL
I think it’s beautiful😍💕 Bravo Brian👏
The cells are so shimmery, they are like little jewels!
thank you 😀😀
….and thanks for the idea of using the double canvas - must try it.
Brian they were both beautiful!!
Thank u 😄😄
Absolutely love this!!! ❤❤❤ I've never been able to do a bloom but now I want to try it!!!
I love the effect of this bloom. Would prefer to use normal acrylics instead of house paint. Colours are lovely. Regards Glenis.
Thank u Glenis😄😄
I love it, I think it is awesome and I love the colors.
thank you 😀😀
Really, Dude the night rider theme? I was laughing so hard I cannot wait to see your painting though
Not sure what theme you're hearing. LOL. I loved the show but I didn't use the music. That music is copyrighted.
I’m not a cell person but this is beautiful!
thank you 😀😀
Well saved: I really like it 😃
Thank u 😄😄
Really beautiful. I would like to say, that your swipe was pretty too. You could have saved it by utilizing the negative space with more swipes
thank you 😀
The cells are amazing!! I love it!
Thank u 😄😄
This came out beautiful Brian 😍
Thank you, Julie
Wowzer, this painting is absolutely gorgeous, Brian! What a great save, huh? I love the colors you used.😊💙💜🩵

Very Cool Brian, Colors are brilliant and the sparkle of the 24k Gold is perfect.
** I would love to see the results if you resin it please and 🙏
thank you 😀
The purple was really vibrant in the end and I love how it wasn’t planned and came out wonderfully. You are a talent and turn things around do well. Gorgeous lacing ❤
thank you so much. I really appreciate your support. 😀😀
wow, amazing , 👍❤️
thank you 😀😀
Not gonna lie. This kinda broke my heart a bit. The first one was just SO pretty! But I mean its art and art is about experimenting and playing until you like something, so as long as you like it, that's all that matters. Personally, instead of scraping it, if there was enough paint still on the canvas, I would have tried usubg a small palette knife and stretching bits of it out, but that's me. At the end of the day, it's still pretty, so I'd call it a win.
I understand your dissapointment. It hurt me too. I was going for something different like I did in another painting and when i didn't get what I wanted, for me, it was best to start over. It's always a gamble I guess. lol
Amazing bloom ❤ I liked the swipe too. Those colors are beautiful.🤗
thank you 😀
Amazing!👋🇸🇪
thank you 😀😀
I love it! Love from NB Canada!
thank you 😀
The cells and lacing are to die for! Came out so cool 🎉
thank you 😀😀
Great video!! 😊
thank you 😀
I rewatched it because of the curiosity of the bloom done that way… even tho it’s different, it’s very cool the effects you got
The colors are beautiful together
I Love when Artists experiment and let us come along for the journey… it’s Always fun to anticipate what’s going to happen 👍🏼❤️
Thank u for coming along in the ride. I appreciate the support and you commenting.
This turned out super cool! Peacock colors!!! Yes!! I HAVE tried this before! Not so much control, base paint kicks up more, cells get a little crazy (in a good type of way) and a totally different vibe like ya said but STILL pretty dang awesome! I love how you just went with it and the painting turned out so fricking cool! The purple is Poppin! I LOVE it! haha!:) Lots of love bro! Great pour & ty 4 sharing!
oh! there have been other ppl getting that effect from the soft body white, so you are not alone my friend! lolol just thought I'd let ya know in case ya didn't already!;) I Hope you had a fantastic weekend and a wonderful week to come! Cya next time!
Thank you Jessica. Yea I've always known how the Soft Body reacts but it seems this batch is working overtime. lol 😀😀
Beautiful results, Brian! That's what I love about fluid art!

thank you 😀😀
Beautiful 😊great mistake,!
Thank u 😄😄
This is the cheatyiest thing I ever seen lol😂good results though
I wonder if you could have left your swipe and then put 3 blooms across it? One in the middle and 2 towards the ends. I love how you saved it though.
ooooh that would have been fun to try. thank you 😀😀
What do you use to hold the canvas?
What is the ratio for the pouring medium? The liquitex gloss and floetrol. I cant seem to get it correct :(
