I absolutely love this painting and method!! I love ribbon pours but they can go wonky real fast when tilting and this looks like a great option. I also love satin enamel. I may just try this with an ombre colour pattern. Ha, as if I could plan these kind of things!! Great painting!
That is so cool looking! the multisurface satin that I use does the same with believe it or not, the Royal & Langnickel Essentials titanium white from Walmart of all places!
Gotta be honest, when you first started chucking paint on the canvas from the cup, I was like,'What is this crazy man doing?!' 😂 It turned out really cool! Not sure about the boulder cells for me personally but that's not just this painting - I tend to have a changing relationship with the Satin Enamels cells, sometimes I love them, sometimes I don't like them and other times, as with this piece, I can't decide. They look cool but I'm not totally in love with them when combined with the lines of the pour (as you say, like a ribbon pour). I bought some SE to play around with to see if I can figure out what makes the difference between an 'I just don't know' painting and an 'OMG! I need this painting!!' kind of painting (if that makes any sense at all?! 😂😂) This is definitely cool looking, very galactic/outer space feel to it which is awesome! Great job!
Brian, I love the painting hanging on the wall behind you in this video. Do you have a video on this one? If so, what is it called, so I can search for it. Thanks!
A really lovely composition and the red and the black at the top was just right

hi
is this all acrylic paint or all enamel , or both mixed together . sorry if i`m asking something obvious . but i truly want to try this
His paints are mixture of acrylic paint and US floetrol. Only his white (in this video) is molixed with Satin enamels. He states this in the video.
Everything is stated in the video and in my description box. 😀
Love it the colours are amazing ❤❤❤
