  • Today I share how to create your own DIY Eisenlink plate storage solution for your adjustable dumbbells. This easy and affordable project will keep your workout space organized and clutter-free! This storage solution design will also work with other plates with a slotted design, such as iFAST.
Cut list to build 2 storage units:
    Center Rails (2): 4.5 in x 11.5 in
    End Caps (4): 5.5 in x 6.5 in
    Base Plate (2): 5.5 in x 11.5 in
The 11.5 inch length of the center rail and base plate can be adjusted to fit your desired need. I chose 3/4 in. thick wood; 2 in. deck screws (to secure the end caps) and 1 1/4 in. deck screws (to secure center rail to base plate) for extra strength and durability.
I hope this simple project sparks different ideas and creative ways to store your extra plates.
If you would like to purchase Eisenlink dumbbells and their accessories, I hope you consider using my Amazon affiliate link to their storefront:

Nice work. Excellent planning. I picked up an 80lb set and a 50lb set and I’m looking for ideas to up cycle furniture to function as eisenlink storage. Thanks for taking your time to make this g helpful video.

Nicely done! I like how it matches your Apple Watch band, clear theme going on 🤣
I may have to build this, but how much weight do you have? I just have the 50s but might expand both to 80 down the road. Do these hold up to 80 each?

Thanks! The matching watch band was a happy coincidence. But yes, I’m trying to form a color scheme 😀.
I have a total of 100 lbs worth of plates which can fit onto one storage unit. I’m hoping to pick up another expansion weight kit and the long pins. Let me know if there is anything you would like to see in future videos. Thanks for tuning in!

I’ve already made a rough version of your design with some modifications. I think I’ll be moving mine around my home gym a fair amount so I expanded the base width and added outer walls that match the dimensions of the center “rack” that the plates sit on. That should make moving it easier. I still need to add end caps but I was also considering some kind of handles, maybe a cut-out on the end caps.

@@brandonr87 making it mobile is so brilliant! Glad to hear the video helped inspire you. Good luck it is final design. Cheers!

Not bad! But I looking for... a sort of "Floppy Disk Storage Box" to keep plates separated and ready to go. LOL

They look a lot like floppies, especially the older 5.25” ones with the hole all the way through 🤣 I bet you could add some spacers to this design
