Very useful tips, bcz it is very dangerous to be driving in rainy/foggy conditions if the windscreen keeps fogging up.Should the Air-Circulation Mode be set to "Inside" or "Outside"?
For first few minutes, Air Circulation must be "outside" so that car AC system will be able to remove Moisture in the car Faster. Once we find no vapours/fog on glasses we can switch air circulation to "inside".
if you often face foggy weather then no. as 6000k light merges with the fog and reasonably create a cloud at front. halogens are always preferred for foggy weather conditions.
You got a valid point. Sunshade also has air vent to pass the air flow. Please watch our special video on sunshade for more info. th-cam.com/video/l6sWne4PyqM/w-d-xo.html
Why do you guys think turning on hazard lights while driving in fog or rain is safe. It is the worst decision to make and will add more confusion to other vehicles and chances of accidents increase. Hazard lights are only for emergency purpose when the vehicle is standstill and not moving. How do you switch lanes or take a turn when your hazard lights are on, the indicator never overrides the hazard and the other vehicle will never know your intention and chances of accidents increase. Headlights and taillights are sufficient for other vehicles to notice your vehicle. Moreover it is illegal to drive with hazard lights on.
Using hazard-warning lights on moving vehicles runs contrary to the United Nations Convention on Road Traffic. The purpose of the function is for crash scenes and breakdowns only, or to give a quick couple of flashes on a motorway or open-road, to alert rear approaching drivers of a developing hazard up ahead. The appropriate lighting functions to use in heavy fog, dust-storms, daytime monsoon rain, are; Low-beam headlights, and/or front fog lights. A vehicles REAR FOG LIGHT should be used if visibility is severely reduced. As a guide, Germany, France allow it's use when visibility falls to less than 50m, GB sets this at 100m or less The global vehicle design rule for rear fog lights is UNECE 38, and states parties are encouraged to adopt the rule as mandatory. It is suggested car drivers stow a minimum two, high-visibility safety vests in the front door pockets, for easy access at a roadside emergency situation, such as a breakdown or crash scene, to aid in pedestrian safety. (Specification EN471 Class 2, is suggested). Vehicles should carry minimum one, hazard-warning triangle, on board for use by the side of the road at breakdown and crash scenes, to improve the warning given to approaching traffic, placed only if it safe to do so. Global Specification UNECE 27R is suggested. Here, the placement and setup instruction is stamped on the triangles stowage box:- 50-250m (steps) before the scene.
Thanks

What's the point of Defogger if you're just going to cover it with sunshade?
You got a valid point. Sunshade also has air vent to pass the air flow.

It's a matter of debate. Thanks for your views on topic.
@@SMARTDrive There is no debate. Don't use hazard loghts in these situations
Thanks for sharing your opinion.
