Great video! I’m a drone op / FPV Pilot and I already had a bunch of M43 lenses, which is why I bought an M43 stills cam. So happy with the OM-1 for all the reasons you just mentioned as well as awesome stills photography.
Great review! I'm struggling between the OM 1 mk1 and Lumix GH9 mkii. The Oly is down to HK$900 and the Lumix is HSK1200. I can't decide if I need the extra resolution of the Lumix or the better build quality of the OM
Just bought the OM-1, while I probably won’t use it too much for video. Nice to know that I can. Also, you just taught me that my 12-40mm has a manual clutch!😅 Good video.
I like the OM-1 because the depth of field of this 16mm-like sensor better matches the human eye. You can still get bokeh but not too extreme. Most 35mm-like sensors give an unrealistic bokeh effect in my estimation.

Thanks for the comment - glad the OM-1 is working out for you and enjoy the drone work!
Nice! Rare you see folks talk about the OM1”s video strengths, often seen simply as a great camera. Well done!
This camera could really benefit from a major firmware update to fix the software issues with video.

Four out of the five M.Zuiko lenses we use have Manual Clutch, and two Lumix Leica lenses too…
🤔
@@Superz3ro I’m newer to mft, so good to know.

Hi, would you say the video af (tracking especially) is it far better then em1 mark ii/iii? Thank you!
Yes, absolutely - AF has moved on a lot and if AF is important then definitely check out the OM-1
