Mangat is an attacker, sees no effect, but he wins ,because of the rules to score the doer rules
Yodkaikaew protects well and the attack came back with a clear result ,but lose.
should've been a draw at the least in my opinion. Yodkai done more damage, and Mangat wasted many opportunities during the ground game.
Mma should take control time away from judging factors. Thats the only reason he won is because he layed on top

You know what takedown means and time controlled in ground damage doesn't matter unless a knockdown and there was no knockdown.
Y2K got robbed, other guy had takedown & ground control, but even on the ground Y2K did more damage in stricking
EDIT : Nevermind, unfortunately after rewatching the fight, Manga won the fight. Y2K woke up and start to be Super Saiyan/Beast mode toward the end of the round 2, but it was already too late Manga already scored many points with his ground game. He had very good ground control at the beginning of the fight and was very tired toward the end of the round 2. But he won that. It could have been a draw also just because Manga was dominant from Round1 to the end of the Round 2 and Y2K had the end of the Round 2 to the end of the fight. They got like 1.5 rounds each one
Mangat also did damage. Y2K's nose was clearly bleeding.

I’m from Thailand but I don’t have any problem with the result. They both fought really good but I respect the judgment.
With the decision being based on the fight as a whole and not by round, I can see why Y2K lost. Mangat’s ground game was great and very smart. Although he did nothing on the ground to be efficient, the takedowns to keep Y2K off his feet is what gave him the points, especially doing it for a prolonged period of time. Y2K is my favorite and I just started watching One this week. Once he learns ground game, definitely will be a force to be reckoned with. He reminds me of the One version if UFC’s GSP, who will learn different styles as his career continues and will start out grappling the grapplers. I hope to see that😅

@@peeranutearth I didn’t mean doing nothing by means of getting him to the ground and that’s it. But by getting him on the ground, he did well at getting in different positions and keeping Y2K grounded… but overall, did nothing truly beneficial that people could really see being a dominant factor. Like any good submissions or locks. Barely even hit him while on the ground, pretty much just small back and forth shots. Y2K was definitely dominant in stand up, but wasn’t that good at ground game. When he wasn’t able to use his lack of skill on the ground against him for a win, it was kinda sad it had to be a win in that aspect being by decision. Especially when you’re mainly known for your ground game but couldn’t submit or get a true hold on someone who is the opposite

Yodkaikaew had much more effective hits - I do not know - sometimes I can not follow or do not agree with the jury on how they make the points count...but anyway I am not an expert in mixed martial art - I know more regarding the Muay Thay fighting rules...

So since the fights are judged as a whole instead of by round, I think it could be argued this isn’t a robbery. But on a round by round basis, seems like Y2K had 1 & 3.
Mangat was sooo close to being knocked out 3 times, but the lights kept turning back on very quickly for him. Feel like he lucked out in this one.

@@napatt.7943 Y2K's nose was clearly bleeding and takedowns matter a lot whether you are able to get the sub or not. I understand that ONE championship audience are used to watching the standup game but takedowns hold a lot of weight especially when both were almost even in standup. Mangat was countering well and got caught a couple of times.

majority of the viewers saw the other fighter won the match,
Dont really agree with result. Mangat was almost knocked out. Guess that happens when you get judges who are more grappling based and looking to score back control without any damage or real threat as high. Y2k was literally defending the chokes well and even threw back elbows
