Remember watching him in the Toulon tournament where he won player of the tournament and the top scorer title, his IQ and maturity at that age was wild and i was convinced he would make it big.... well
i dont think short players like 5'3 would survive in the harsh and fast physicality of the premier league though. you should try to go to the premier league if your still young
I used to be one, they were never scared of me, they could just play off ball defense and they were too lanky for me to beat them. Then I hit a growth spurt and that's when I became terrifying
As a River Plate fan, being just a kid when Buonanotte played for us, i always wondered what happened to him. I´m glad you made a video about this kinda "obscure" argentinian talent.
Lovely video mate, I'm a chilean watcher and Universidad Catolica supporter who's been following you for a while, so watching this video was special. Buonanotte did great things in Catolica, displaying many glimpses of his spectacular talent and incredible shooting ability. I practically watched him grow, since the first south american national tournament he played back in the early 2000s, there was one like every summer, always something under 17, u18, u19, and so on, so we all here remember watching the likes of Tevez, Messi, Buonanotte, Ronaldo, Robinho, Ewerton, Adriano, Alexis Sanchez, etc, since they were very young. Then came the accident and then his time in Malaga, which was under Pellegrini, so I followed them closely as a big fan of Pellegrini too, a former manager of Catolica. I remember Buonanotte scored a couple of bangers in La Liga and overall had a very decent time there. That Malaga side played some beautiful football, their run of 8 wins in a row to escape relegation was spectacular, with Julio Baptista on fire. Anyway, Buonanotte is certainly appreciated in Catolica, it was really fun to watch him play, you could tell he was on another level in terms of ability, and he scored some beautiful and powerful goals against our closets rivals so that's always great. Nice video.
I am glad he’s still remembered, cus i totally forgot about that man, he was praised a lot back when I was a kid people really liked its crazy to think Argentina was a power house for bringing out new players but not have a good defense except for king otamendi
Leaving a Comment here to remmember that there are hundreds if not thousands of Messi who just could not shine due to stuff out of thier control. Next Time we are mesmorized by the greatness of Messi, we should also know that He might just be the Chosen one amoung all the Buonanottes out there...
As an Universidad Catolica fan Buonanotte was a great player and I have great memories of him, yet he failed to maintain the same pace, he showed great class as a player but his smaller size really did show on the pitch towards the end of the spell at UC.
Yk ima stop complaining my height on why I’m not good I’m 5’6 and there’s people 5’6 and under that’s pro players and they had train hard in order to be good so ima stop complaining and actually start putting in the work
Great video. It must have required great resilience and perseverance to overcome such a terrible tragedy, along with the terrible injuries and the cruel comments. He has a great last name too... Italian for "good night."
I know he's not household name, but it'd be great to see Samir Handanovic video. A solid GK who carries Inter in its dark era, and a solid penalty stopper. And has 88 rating on fifa in several seasons. It's kinda nice that he finally got tropies toward the end of his career
That is the most fascinating thing to me about Messi. He is the only athlete in the world that everyone knows used HGH but no one cares because of the reason behind it. Any other athlete that used HGH or steroids that I could think of, like Barry Bonds in baseball, are very much condemned for it and deservedly so. Again I understand why it was necessary for Messi but it is still super interesting
Messi was 11 though. Not a grown man taking performance enhancing drugs. Judging from the title, this is what the content creator was subtly aiming at slyly. But I'm glad to see the comments smartly went in the other direction. Especially now in a time we're in where every adult seems to be using them for a short cut.
Nasri Ben Afra yossi benayoun George weah (think you did this already, not sure) Anelka Adebayor Benjani Deco Figo Podolski And how juventus got relegated

What a mental challenge this must be to everyone. But hats off to Buonanotte. Handle that like a professional
As a River Plate fan, being just a kid when Buonanotte played for us, i always wondered what happened to him. I´m glad you made a video about this kinda "obscure" argentinian talent.
I remember there was a commercial he did with gigantic tennis player, Juan Martin del Potro, in which they joked about the difference of size.
