The patient usually comes to the ER on a wheel chair pale, dysneac, gives you a history of postpartum or orthopedic operation made him lie in bed for a long period, DVT, or survey shows colonic or uterine malignancy. TO MY UNDERSTANDING, if all chritera are there CT angio if not Lab if high also D imer
