I don't know if one could receive a greater compliment than Stone Cold Steve Austin insisting that he would make a great tag team partner with you. Awesome.
CM punk turns heel, faces austin at wrestlemania 30. The straight edge asshole vs the bad ass beer drinker is too good to not to do. I don't care if austin puts on a shitty match, it's the promos and the weeks/events leading up to it which would be sick. The two worlds going at each other the microphone battles would be legendary! Austin was always plain in the ring after owen dropped him. He still blew up because he had charisma. He was a good talker. Even though he couldn't do a lot of moves he still made good matches as well. Stone cold vs the rock wrestlemania 17 is still my favorite match of all time. He already been cleared to wrestle. He said this is the best his neck ever felt! I doubt he's worried about being injured, I think he doesn't have the confidence in himself to make it entertaining.
He has the confidence trust me. He said the biggest problem with coming back would be leaving again. He has had his entire neck fused and last year he finally got his knees fixed through total reconstruction. He has went through tremendous pain to get healthy. He worked with 2 blown out knees and a bad neck for years. He does not want to end up working for a couple of years and losing his health. CM Punk would be an excellent feud and Stone Cold would put him over in a fantastic match. The Owen injury did not affect his ring style as much as the evolution of the character and the business. The attitude era did not have a lot of technical masterpieces but when he wrestled guys who could go like Shamrock, Benoit, Jericho, Guerrero, HHH, or Angle he would bust out some of the old stuff because they could work multiple styles during one match. His brawling style was done part to get the character over as a bad ass and part because the talent that could wrestle a technical style all left for WCW or were injured a lot during those years. He would let Angle do all the technical wrestling because that was his gimmick as a gold medalist. Steve worked smart to get the talent over around him.
Wow it's awesome to see Stone Cold so happy. I don't need to see him wrestle again. His last match with the Rock was the best ending to his career, but if he decides to make a comeback I would mark out big time XD Sam- my favourite interviewer for WWE wrestlers! Keep up the good work. :)
FUck no there will never be another stone cold. I remember we'd watch ppv wrestling on thanksgiving over the NFL because of the stone cold and vince feud. It was legendary.
so happy Steve has found success, happiness and health outside of wrestling. for as much as i would love him to come back, his health is way more important.
Against Rock in 2003 was a great ending, but imagine Cm Punk Vs Austin as his last match? The new best, versus the best from the previous generation (and of all time, in the minds of many). It'd be great. Plus, Both Austin AND Punk have said they really want the match to happen. It's a dream match.
Austin always my favorite but he got bigger stand as it now that he believes in the shield! Also he looks happy in this interview life goin great I would like to see a return then again let him live his life
Gosh. It would have been (it is) difficult to talk to Stone Cold. Look how he look straight into the eyes. One little verbal offense.Stunner. Hell of a badass, smartass person.
Yes, it's a dream match for many people, but the reality is, the match itself wouldn't be so great. The build-up and the mic battle would be epic though.
one the BIG stage yes. Doing live TV in front of millions every monday night is different than working on the indie stages. There's a lot more to think about and to incorporate in their styles of ENTERTAINMENT.
If Austin being a "hack" at podcasting includes him reading facts about flies for 20 minutes before wrestling a fly while commentating as Howard Cosell in a "theater of the mind" bit and also DOING THE JOB FOR THAT FLY, he is the greatest "hack" who ever lived.
ya I see him making gestures to cut off the interview, I hope that was because stone cold is def coming back and he don't want austin giving away the storyline.
Cause as he has said he is open to the idea of getting in the ring again, but money & timing all come into it. Austin goes by the WWE motto & never say never
I'd rather Cm Punk vs Daniel Bryan But Austin vs Punk would be cool, but the problem is the hype wouldn't lead up to much knowing Austin would have limited appearances and because Punk is VERY technical Austin in his age and injuries wouldn't work well with Punk in the ring. Daniel Bryan vs Punk at Mania in the main event, that has the makings to be a 5 star classic
Imagine one day Sam gets a job with the WWe and it's his gimmick to just get the shit kicked out of him by every wrestler he interviews? I would absolutely start watching wrestling again just for that.
actually no your wrong he even said so himself in a interview a few weeks ago saying that after going threw all the knee surgery's again he believes his in the best shape of his life even before his accident with his neck
What's the Happs?? That sounds ridiculous.. Go look at when he interviewed Ultimate Warrior for WWE 2K14 lmao. Come guy dont start your interviews with legends like your interviewing a 2nd grader
Lol Austin is always beating around the bush. Austin vs punk lesnar vs Batista cena vs undertaker bryan vs micheals the shield vs the Wyatt family! Is anybody with me?!?!?!?!?
As much as we want it, it wouldn't make sense. CM Punk would have lost to The Rock, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar and then who would win between the two? Logically, Stone Cold cause why would he come back to lose? So that's four major people he'd have lost to on a PPV stage.
This legend is one of the most down to earth wrestlers you will ever see. An absolute hero!
He always talks like he is cutting a promo love it
I don't know if one could receive a greater compliment than Stone Cold Steve Austin insisting that he would make a great tag team partner with you. Awesome.
The Rock vs. Stone Cold would be awesome to see again!

Sam- my favourite interviewer for WWE wrestlers! Keep up the good work. :)
Sam you are just cranking on these interviews this weekend. Well done!
FUck no there will never be another stone cold. I remember we'd watch ppv wrestling on thanksgiving over the NFL because of the stone cold and vince feud. It was legendary.
He seems to be really happy. Good for him! He seems like a great guy. it be awesome to meet him
so happy Steve has found success, happiness and health outside of wrestling. for as much as i would love him to come back, his health is way more important.
Stone Cold is a very good speaking, well-educated man. Listen to some of his podcasts you can just tell.
Their back and fourth are both amazing when on the mic.
Very entertaining interview!
1:14 the look was pretty much his answer lmao
stone cold forever
Keep up being such a huge professional Sam!
man if he come back im going to watch wrestling again
Austin is such a cool down to earth guy
I never seen Austin so happy.
his podcasts are bloody brilliant.
Steve Austin looks at them at a talent level and even though their shtick is kind of bad right now they are gifted athletes

God damn, I would love to meet Austin.
This interview sounds like Austin's comeback is officially in the talks
Stone Cold Steve Austin would be awesome working for creative. He understands so much more than Stephanie what it takes to put on a good show.
Gosh. It would have been (it is) difficult to talk to Stone Cold. Look how he look straight into the eyes. One little verbal offense.Stunner.
Hell of a badass,smartass person.
Good call. That would really make a lot of sense
Yes, it's a dream match for many people, but the reality is, the match itself wouldn't be so great. The build-up and the mic battle would be epic though.
Stone cold was and still is my favourite wrestler of all time. Dude is bad fucking ass and so cool.
Looking good at 48 Steve. U still the fucking man. Great interview with the GOAT
For a moment, I thought it was Carlito interviewing Steve... That's COOL.
Omfg he was fanboying and you could feel it
In my Clyde from South Park voice: If I could be friends with Stone Cold like that, I would be soo happy.
Stone cold the best
one the BIG stage yes. Doing live TV in front of millions every monday night is different than working on the indie stages. There's a lot more to think about and to incorporate in their styles of ENTERTAINMENT.
Punk vs Austin on WM30, just talk to each other im sold
I agree. Sam needs to take over for Josh Matthew's position on RAW lol
Way to go Sam, Steve Austin knows u....excellent
If Austin being a "hack" at podcasting includes him reading facts about flies for 20 minutes before wrestling a fly while commentating as Howard Cosell in a "theater of the mind" bit and also DOING THE JOB FOR THAT FLY, he is the greatest "hack" who ever lived.
And the only moment of WWE since 2001 worth watching.
Aw, thought you might have been on his podcast.
Steve Austin Thoughts: "Oh man I need to take a shit, if you want Stone Cold Steve Austin to take a big ass dump give me a hell yeah!!!"
dontdisthafet42 that's funny! Will Sasso should make a video saying that while impersonating Stone Cold!
ya I see him making gestures to cut off the interview, I hope that was because stone cold is def coming back and he don't want austin giving away the storyline.
SCSA The G.O.A.T OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING
would be interesting to see that tag team...
That guy staring at stone cold is one of wwes officials.
well he does have a podcast so he still talks into a mic alot :)
Back then everybody believed CM Punk would be the next Big thing .
Stone Cold is not a character, Stone Cold is the character.
The best guy ever, love him
What's the Haps + Give me a Hell yeah = Give me the Haps yeah? Tag team name right there.
Cause as he has said he is open to the idea of getting in the ring again, but money & timing all come into it. Austin goes by the WWE motto & never say never
austin still got the mic skills
the rock and stone cold is the best on the mic, who agrees?
cm punk vs stone cold = wm
I'd rather Cm Punk vs Daniel Bryan
But Austin vs Punk would be cool, but the problem is the hype wouldn't lead up to much knowing Austin would have limited appearances and because Punk is VERY technical Austin in his age and injuries wouldn't work well with Punk in the ring.
Daniel Bryan vs Punk at Mania in the main event, that has the makings to be a 5 star classic
Austin,pleasecome back to WWE!!!
Stone Cold probably is the only guy that gets along with this guy
Anybody else hearing a little of the ol' Leonard Nimoy denture talk, especially at the end of the interview...?
He's like that almost all the time on his podcast lol. I was surprised.
(Greatest of all time)
People have to be open minded to Stone Cold returning, you can't just completely be turned off by it, i
The guy in the background is Stone Colds manager
i think if I ever Steve Austin i'd shit myself. I love the man.
Punk Vs Austin
Rock Vs Brock
Undertaker Vs Cena
RKO Vs Hulk Hogan
WM30...It Would Be Awesome....
Austin speaks the truth about the shield
YES!
Imagine one day Sam gets a job with the WWe and it's his gimmick to just get the shit kicked out of him by every wrestler he interviews? I would absolutely start watching wrestling again just for that.
he seems like such a nice dude. i bet stone cold has been laying low from wwe for a while just so the next time he does appear it's a really big deal
I WANT THAT HAT!!
actually no your wrong he even said so himself in a interview a few weeks ago saying that after going threw all the knee surgery's again he believes his in the best shape of his life even before his accident with his neck
I don't think he necessarily meant green as in "new" lol.
sam must feel awesome, i sure as hell would if stone cold said me and him would kick some ass in tag competition.
Stone Cold my all time fav wrestler but please one more match with u versus CM Punk
good if he comes back the least they could do is let him win
Let's think of some names for the combination of Austin and Sam? How about Stone Cold Primetime?
Damn! I wish Stone Cold was still wrestling
If Austin is coming back he's probably gonna help Daniel Bryan to defeat Randy Orton and Triple H. That storyline pretty much writes itself.
I have an image of steve stunning Sam half way through the interview for no reason and turning heel
I'd say roman reigns is the only green one in the team, but he can become Really good
"Talk about your Nexus... Talk about your Straight Edge Society.... The Shield 3:16 says Believe in the Shield If not then we will whoop your ass!!"
What's the Happs?? That sounds ridiculous.. Go look at when he interviewed Ultimate Warrior for WWE 2K14 lmao. Come guy dont start your interviews with legends like your interviewing a 2nd grader
He does that with everyone. Shut the fuck up.
Lol Austin is always beating around the bush. Austin vs punk lesnar vs Batista cena vs undertaker bryan vs micheals the shield vs the Wyatt family! Is anybody with me?!?!?!?!?
Another guy who gets along with Sam is Paul Heyman
I want to see Ant on Austin's hunting show
Yeah, he's definitely right about The Shield. You can see the hunger in their eyes.
Best ever. The MAN!
I know Right.
actually stone cold and the rock co-existed to the wrestlemania, in which the rock was the host.
Stone cold is the GOAT
Just a great dude.
Ryback vs Brock Lesnar in a Hell in the Cell!!!!! Westlemania
Rumor is that he might come back to face Hunter
SO AUSTIN STILL DOING MOVIE RIGHT ?
in my jr voice. stone cold stone cold stone cold stone cold
I want stone cold to be a color commentator........Hope it happens someday
wrestling hasnt been the same since this man stopped doing it
Come on Vince, give Sam a job ... Damn near everyone in the WWE already knows him.
Stone cold et is back and ready to whoop some ass
As much as we want it, it wouldn't make sense.
CM Punk would have lost to The Rock, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar and then who would win between the two? Logically, Stone Cold cause why would he come back to lose? So that's four major people he'd have lost to on a PPV stage.
