This awkward game is so fun to watch, but I want to see them do it this way through diplomacy and then all submit their own rankings anonymously on paper and then have the ranking tallied up. I always feel like quiet shy ones end up going “okay yeah I’ll be the ugliest” and often they’re very attractive to some of the other people in the group. I feel like the results would change when it’s anonymous.

As the video says "personality vs looks" in the title, I think it would have made more sense for each person to talk about their hobbies, interests, likes, dislikes whilst they were blindfolded, rather than tell everyone a description of their physical appearance, with everyone then ranking one another based on these elements. Then, once the blindfolds were removed they could have approached the ranking with physical attraction in mind.
we actually did discuss hobbies but it was cut out 😔 that was the best part too

The end result was ppl on the higher end that weren’t afraid to say they think they’re attractive and vice versa. In reality I think those that didn’t speak up/show a lot of confidence like Conrad and Lauren are genuinely more attractive than Kelly and Aliya. Confidence is definitely attractive I just think in this scenario the confident ppl were more likely to speak up lol
i don't really like the fact being ''confident'' is seen as attractive to many. people are just cancelling out a huge group of people who don't seem ''confident'' at first. introverts are usually quite nice and for most of them, it takes some time and talking to actually get to know them.

@Hola To be fair, personality, hobbies, intelligence could all be factors of attractiveness to someone else. But you're right, if they wanted it based solely on looks, they should have said so, and the director should have done a better job of keeping them in line with that directive.
The issue is there is no way to do that without everyone seeming like an asshole and they are too afraid to actually be subjective on camera (which is sad because it would be extremely entertaining to watch people rip each other apart to place higher on a subjective scale)
The one thing I do disagree is the conference part, the way you present yourself is gonna show how attractive you are perceived, which is why the guy who rated himself a 6 and talked down of himself was placed lowest both times
@@sleepy_koko I agree, but I think it's also easier to put the guy who ranked himself low at the bottom because he already put himself there, just because it's less confrontational than putting someone who says they're hot in a lower ranking lol that's so awkward. So it's not only confidence at play, it's also the emotional aspect of who can handle being ranked low.
I enjoyed the Cut channel videos on this because they were able to cast some veryyy blunt people, whereas jubilee doesn't seem to want that vibe

Down-to-earth yet adds 4 inches to his height. Kyi was next to him and said she was 5'6 and they're the same height. It's funny as a guy who is 6'3 measured with my shoes off by a doctor to see how many dudes will do this, I've seen so many guys that say they are 6'3 or 6'4 and they're 2-3 inches shorter than me.

This social experiment was interesting. The chick with the most issues ended up being in the top spot because nobody else was comfortable telling them that they weren't attractive at all. But it shows that confidence is key... if you want people to lie to you.
I mean I disagree, I found them the most attractive personally. They have really conventionally attractive features, in my opinion the most genetically attractive face out of the group. I also liked their style but that of course is subjective. Not sure what having issues has to do with physical attractiveness.

On the next rank by attractiveness, don't let them take off their blindfolds at the end to meet each other. Do the solo interviews while having the person watch the activity on video. I am really curious to how they will reflect on how they ranked each other and themselves without ever getting to meet the others without blindfolds. I feel like we would get a better insight of each person and how they really think.

I really hate how people are okay with participating in an experiment like this but will not be honest. This experiment could’ve just been left out since they weren’t going to be real about their thoughts. It’s almost as if they were there just to be there.
I used to want to be in one of these Jubilee ranking videos, but no one gets placed where they really should be out of fear of hurting someone's feelings. Even if I was the most physically attractive one in the room, a non-binary would outrank me no matter what because we can't risk hurting their feelings.

What I like most about this experiment is hearing people’s own unique perspectives on what is attractive. I feel this would be better if it was simply a rating system based on factors (face, body, style, personality…etc) then they would reveal the ranking something like that, just bc I feel like comparing people is so hard and not something you should get into the habit of 🤔 idk ignore me just what I was thinking while watching haha

Kyra is probably the least attractive out of all of them. She has terrible facial symmetry and a very under-developed jaw, just look at her from the side.

I see attractiveness as a mix of physical looks & personality. All the ones who ranked themselves high and who were saying 'so and so should switch' are people I would not want to be friends with and I see them as less attractive because of their attitudes (not that being confident and comfortable in your own skin is bad, but because they were actively judging others instead of being more modest). I would rank the two in last place the best because of this - I would much rather be friends with them.

Part of the problem with this is, is that "attractiveness" is different for EVERYONE. There is no one idea of what attractive is. What I think is attractive is not what you're going to think is attractive.

One of them actually had cancer when she was 15, it was crazy and scary to watch someone you know (and my brothers friend) go through something like that so young! She lived and as far as I know is doing well now. It’s been years ago..
