As a Brave Frontier OG i'm insanely touched to discover that there is a project which aim to revive this license. I hope that the project will continue to grow as big as possible, maybe gumi would give their approuval, your work is really amazing, i hope the team is doing good, from now i will do my best to support this project, the community is still solid and large, the nostalgia work too, you would have the love and the support you all deserve for sure. (sorry if it's difficult to understand i'm not an english native)

You can disregard that last question as I read the FAQ. I do hope that it runs well on browser and it does make sense to do it that way to avoid issues across different devices. I’m curious to know if Gumi/Alim have reached out to you guys yet regarding this project

god i miss this game it was legit one of the classics i probably stopped playing a few months after JP version dropped it completely never tried out the new mechanics after that and when i heard it was shutting down i redownloaded just to take a look at my account one last time since it was tied to facebook was max level had like 1500 unit space majority of it taken up with materials to max new characters instantly whenever i got them, remembered my old guild at one point we were the top 3%, watched a few cutscenes because this game honestly had one of the best stories for a mobile game, mobile games with a pixel theme honestly do just hit different than these raid shadow legend type games that are made with unreal engine or unity.

I just finally re-discovered Brave Frontier after almost a decade of it being lost on me, I couldn't find it again for the life of me, I only managed to find it now cause ChatGPT exists and I described the game to it.
This, of course, then lead me down the rabbit hole of realising the game got shut down, and basically replaced with a terrible knock-off that seems basically universally-hated. I was hoping that someone out there perhaps managed to create an APK that worked offline, but instead I found this project.
I have such a fond memory of Brave Frontiers, the game was a big part of my childhood, and discovering this project almost made me cry from joy, I thought I will never get to play the game again. I'll be keeping an eye on this, and thank you for making this, I'm sure I'm not the only one happy to find this project.

Brave frontier was killed by gumi for global at least. The jp version may still be open I don’t know. But these people are making a passion project and remaking the game FOR FREE from the ground up. As a fan project it essentially has to be f2p with no ways for them to make money off it. And since they can’t fundraise for it it’s entirely fueled by passion for the game and will probably not release for quite awhile. But god am I looking forward to when it does even if I have to play the game one map at a time again.

No money will be able to be spent as this is an entirely free to play game/project with no monetary incentive/gain.
But yes, you will be able to link your accounts in some way, more details will be available once we are ready to share them.

The latter sounds difficult to do so I'm not expecting anything on that level but I would be willing to pay good money for access to all my old units, as a long time vet of the game. (I know you can';t accept money for the game but I just want to express how much I miss my account)
@@MichaelBi Yes, we are currently very early in our development into account management, with Emails being the sole method at this time.
However, we would like to look into additional account creation methods in the future if possible, by having your Re:Coded Account linked to platforms such as Facebook, Discord, Etc.
This does not mean that all Previous Player Data from the original Brave Frontier made by Gumi/Alim will be restored as we are a community passion project with no data on such information. All players will be starting in the Re:Coded Era brand new together as a Day 1 Summoner. No Early PowerCreeping. :)

When is it releasing on ios
We will not be releasing on iOS due to apples ludicrous cost for an App Developer. We will instead be hosting it on a website that players can manually save to their home screen "as an app" that way, as long as you have access to internet and a browser, you will be able to play Re:Coded on a device that is most suitable for you. 💎
