Hey Shaun! Thanks for the kind words my friend. Yeah, NONE of the brands get what they say mileage wise, so you need to just go with what YOU like. My brother in law had a Tundra but, like you, had a long commute and after a year of 11 mpg (They don't make a 6 cylinder Tundra), he switched to the Ford Eco Boost. I noticed on a trip to Dallas last week, that when I hauled A$$ up there I was at about 15mpg (that's 80mph up to 95 mph in some spots). But on the way home, I went the speed limit of 75mph and was getting about 19 mpg, which isn't bad at all. Hope this helps and remember, they ALL lie about the mileage. Thanks for watching!
17 mpg average is both city and highway combined, if you do mostly highway that number will jump up nicely, I’m averaging 24 mpg in my 2019 RAV4 (for reference) but that’s a lot of city driving
I bought a 2019 lariat brand new after the 2020s came out. Have a 3.5 Ecoboost with the towing package. I love this truck! Got about 20,000mi. on it now and average about 18 mpg. No prob.or regrets! !! 👍👍
Hey Mileage Maker! Yeah, all my brother-in-laws were like "can't believe you bought a Ford!". Well, Tundra had only an 8 cylinder and 11mpg, none of the others were built like my Ford, Nissan didn't have folder side mirrors ("We're not there yet" said the sales guy...Well if you don't have folding mirrors then what else don't you have!) and the Chevy felt like a plastic tonka toy. Nope, all good here too buddy! Thanks for watching my friend!
I just got mine off the show room floor and it is all black except for the wheels. One thing that is cool is if your battery dies in the fob you have instead of a key, well you just lift up the cup liner in the front cup holder drop in your fob into the hole provided and now you can start your truck.
Hey Dont ask! Thanks for the kind words and nice pick on the XL with the 3.5. Getting into reloading for long range shooting so will begin posting those vids as well. Thanks for watching!
Hi Ramiz, Yeah I had the dealer do all the work after I negotiated them down about 25% off their prices. I had my phone open and every time the guy gave me a price, I looked up Discount Tire and told him he was way over and I'd just have Discount do the work. Funny how the price dropped! I also liked having it all done at Ford so if there was a problem, I can just take it back to them. Lastly, you're able to roll the accessories cost into the financing, so I liked that as well. Do NOT buy your bed cover at the dealership though. They want way too much for them. I went through RealTruck.com for mine (see my bed cover review) and was happy with the cost and delivery. Good luck and thanks for watching!
@@ramizchaudhry5503 The Raptor is an awesome truck! But, it would not fit in my garage, so crossed it off the list. If you plan on heavy, heavy offroading, then the Raptor is about the best option out there truck wise. If you want a cool looking truck, then again, the Raptor is a great choice. I just couldn't justify an extra $35k for the Raptor, even if it had fit in the garage! :) All I can tell you is, get what YOU want and don't regret your purchase.
