It's not the trailer's fault. Movies today are often just BAD, unoriginal, poorly acted and scripted. The trailer creators have no choice but to cherry pick the best parts to get you into the theater. Even My Cousin Vinny was a slight ripoff of a few other movies, however, Joe and Marisa rescued it.
This movie is such a remarkable asset to you if you want to learn a New York accent! Helped me SO much @ my audition - landed a lovely role. Thanks from the bottom of my heart to the talented & gorgeous Marisa Tomei!
A great movie! I'm glad to hear both Joe Pesci & Marisa Tomei both received Oscars for their stellar performances. Fred Gwynne should have been nominated as well, as he stole the show with his brilliant performance as the judge! It's hard to believe "My Cousin Vinny" is almost 20 years old. Fred Gwynne passed away one year after the release of this great movie. This was also his last film role before he passed away. R.I.P., Fred Gwynne...1926-1993. You are loved & missed, & were a great actor.
Not really I understood and laughed my ass off watching this movie and am not Italian, new yorker or a Jew , this movie can relate to anybody regardless of where they r from! So keep ur ignorant opinions to urself rather than spewing it on TH-cam , bimbo... Thx
Coming soon in the theaters 😭😭 wish we could go back, now the average person is a internet junky. Back then being a junky was a bad thing, now these days people have no shame about it.
Sylvester Stallone and Billy Crystal have both played Marisa Tomei's father in one movie each (For Sylvester, Oscar and for Billy, Parental Guidance). Joe Pesci is older than both of them, and yet he played Marisa's fiance in this movie. A bit weird.
Kyle Oxenham I think because they dyed His hair and put him in leather/black he looked younger..I’m younger than Marisa Tomei and I thought joe Pesci looked sexy back then lol 😂
Ralph Macchio looks and sounds soooo different nowadays hes almost unrecognizable. Im going back and watching trailers for his movies trying to figure out when his look and voice transitioned. This is the closest I've gotten to the middle ground.
@CourtyardPigeon That was Fred Gwynne, also known to TV audiences as Herman Munster and, before "The Munsters", NYPD officer Francis Muldoon in the early '60's sitcom "Car 54, Where Are You?"
I didn't get a chance to watch it yet xD I will today though. (yesterday I watched terminator salvation. Definately not as good as the older terminators :P)
This movie has something in common with "The Blues Brothers" from 1980 and "The Matchmaker" from 1997, that common thing they share is the constant free versed usage of the word "Fuck."
One of my all-time favourite movies! Such a gem.
I love Marisa Tomei in this movie. She is so hilarious! Not to mention, her car photo dissection scene is priceless.
she shouda got a prestegious award or something, she deserved it for this perfromance. shame.
@@MrLondonGo I think she won academy award
I love this film. Both Joe and Marisa were incredible.
Why can't theatrical trailers be like this any more? Nowadays they run for five minutes and give everything away.
So true!

Rooster Montgomery That’s not all true.
@Zero Cool u wasnt form back then so shut the fuck up

Harry from Home Alone meets The Karate Kid!

You mean Nicky Santoro meets The Karate Kid !!!!!!
And Aunt May ends up saving the day for all of them!
This movie is such a remarkable asset to you if you want to learn a New York accent! Helped me SO much @ my audition - landed a lovely role.
Thanks from the bottom of my heart to the talented & gorgeous Marisa Tomei!
oh my god! I saw this film as a kid, on tv, twice, without knowing what it was, and i loved it. And ive never known what it was called. YES!

It's 30 yrs old as of now. I haven't seen it as yet but I look forward to it.
@@lordsod69 me too bro👍🏻👋
Um, actually, My Cousin Vinny only received one Oscar nomination: Marisa Tomei in the Best Supporting actress category. She did win, though.
Anyone from NY or who is Italian can truly appreciate this movie...lol
Italian
Not really I understood and laughed my ass off watching this movie and am not Italian, new yorker or a Jew , this movie can relate to anybody regardless of where they r from! So keep ur ignorant opinions to urself rather than spewing it on TH-cam , bimbo... Thx

One of my favorite comedies
Such a witty movie. Flawless humor all around!
That closing line was so good, actually makes you want to see the movie! great trailer!
It just occurred to me, the writers of COBRA KAI missed the opportunity for a great in-joke by not calling Daniels cousin Vinny instead of Louie.
Thanks Giuliani looks like a good movie.
Always loved this movie...classic
I've seen this movie many times and still like it. classic
Marisa is gorgeous wow. This movie is so good
Coming soon in the theaters 😭😭 wish we could go back, now the average person is a internet junky. Back then being a junky was a bad thing, now these days people have no shame about it.

No, Johnny! You can't go to jail!
Sigh... Dally warned him about this!
I love the scenes where he's trying to get the $200 dollars from the guy in the bar, brilliant.
Never seen a grit before. HILARIOUS!!
This movie is like Weekend at Bernie’s that goes to court

Ralph Macchio looks and sounds soooo different nowadays hes almost unrecognizable. Im going back and watching trailers for his movies trying to figure out when his look and voice transitioned. This is the closest I've gotten to the middle ground.
23 people undercooked their grits
Great movie. Thank you for uploading the trailer. :)
One of my favorite movies...Joe Pesci, Fred Gwynne, and the oh-so-adorable Marisa Tomei.
Judge "What is a Yoot?"
but what was even funnier, was Vinnys reply.
These *"EYUEETHES."* 😅😅😅
"You never heard of grits? O_o"
"Yeah but I've never actually seen a grit"

My favorite scene is Vinnys first Contempt of court charge
I loved the judge in this movie
this is an amazing movie. so funny
Rudy Giuliani brought me here
Marisa Tomei is HILARIOUS!!!
This seems more like a comedy instead of a drama.. Is my assertion correct?
it was hilarious
@CourtyardPigeon That was Fred Gwynne, also known to TV audiences as Herman Munster and, before "The Munsters", NYPD officer Francis Muldoon in the early '60's sitcom "Car 54, Where Are You?"
I just watched it last night hilarious
We watched this in my law class to take notes on the trial process. It was great.
I didn't get a chance to watch it yet xD I will today though. (yesterday I watched terminator salvation. Definately not as good as the older terminators :P)
God Ralph macchio became a dad in this movie. He was 33!
i wanna see this movie a lot !!!
Love This. !!!!!!!
You're not the first who's noticed that...he STILL looks way younger in his fifties.
This movie has something in common with "The Blues Brothers" from 1980 and "The Matchmaker" from 1997, that common thing they share is the constant free versed usage of the word "Fuck."
AMC brought me here
This is probably Joe Pesci's most underrated movie. In fact, I rather watch this than Goodfellas any day.
i love how they taaalk(:
This is my favorite movie. Vinny's girlfriend reminds me of Fran Drescher because of her make up, accent and hair. XD
@MrEggs4u so he hit puberty when he was about 31 years old ?
Vinny,, you really are a funny guy.
WOAH, WAIT A MINUTE. love that
6 years studying for the bar geeze

Great movie!!
i live 10 mins away from him and his nieces go to my school =)
Not Lynn's best - which I assert is 'Nuns on the Run' -, but still an amusing little courtroom farce.
The name of the music? 0:07
Midnight run - by Danny elfman
WHATS THAT SONG?
Happy 25th Anniversary My Cousin Vinny
Guiliani sent me here 🤣
Your probably not gonna believe this, but ralph macchio was 31 years old in this movie. wtf! he looks 17-18 max
