Lie flat facing forward Amok Draumr 5.0 luxury hammock and Sydvang Skaring Tarp 11 setup

The Amok Draumr 5.0 is a hammock with a difference I’m just tall enough that the regular Draumr fits me just fine, getting in is probably the trickiest part, but with a little practice it comes fairly easy.
For lounging or reading I couldn’t have been much more comfortable in the outdoors, but it doesn’t allow for the easy use of the ground as a work surface for cooking or other tasks. There’s a weight and bulk penalty, too, but not that much if you’re canoe or cycle camping, or ski touring using a pulk, and want lie-back luxury in the wilderness.

Very nice i have a hammock that i need to use so i like the tarp. I have a question...are there midges in the woods? If so roughly what is there season of attack and when do they end? i'm planning to visit mid august.

Hi, I think it depends on the location, in my area (Helsingborg, Skåne) we don't have midges ;-) usually they don't live by the sea :-) I used this hammock more or less all year round and enjoyed it so far
