Great video Austin. I haven't tried the crafter yet mainly cause I never have enough comps as a solo lol. I did run stone, metal and wood from a box to the TC for upkeep though and found that to be really helpful.

If the power requirements of the items are equal, then splitters will work fine. If the power requirements vary, then go with branch switches. I have an older video that discusses power management (it will likely answer your questions). Watch my recent 2024 electrical update video as well to see the changes.
hey man i had a request to see if this is possible... a simple "Med Machine" where it auto crafts syringes and bandages into one box only using 1 Auto-crafter. It would not require the user to press a button or anything and it would automatically create 10 of each and stop after. I think it would use the "Blueprint In" and "Blueprint Out" slots but I don't understand how to use those slots on the crafter. I do this currently but I have to use 2 seperate workbenches and 2 separate auto-crafters to create this Med machine. If you could explain it via text, that would work too!
Hello austin, last wipe i started using the NIH-core after watching youre video(works great ty) now i was thinking of making a NIH-core with back-up battery (using blockers) can you help me out here i cant get my head around It how to do It
Alright I want to make a request. Lets say you have a charged large battery for your cave base but aren’t in one that allows you to get electricity downstairs. I would love an electrical system that activates your auto turrets only after a garage door has been broken. It can use the small battery usage for HB sensor or door sensor Essentially I want my batteries to activate the auto turret only when there is a breach. Also is the same method but activate small generators to activate batteries or turret after breach has been made without the use of a smart switch. Reason why I’m looking for this is if I have 2-3 turrets in my base it will drain a large battery in less than 24 hrs and I want to be able to keep from having to replace the battery everyday upstairs somewhere (in case of battery base raid) to allow for longer chargers etc. Thanks in advance if you find a solution
mine is not working, the conveyor can only pass 60 materials at time, so it doesn't craft one stack of ammo at time. i gotta press the button multiple times to make 1 stack.
You need multiple stacks in your materials box for the conveyor to transfer more than 60 at a time. Example - if you need 200 metal fragments, you will need at minimum 4 stacks (equal or greater than 60) of metal fragments in the materials box (200÷60=3.3, so 4).
