Like all art - certain works aren't for everyone. I absolutely love Reynolds and love his Deadpool character. Absolutely loved the humor - right up my alley and sense of humor.
As always a great video. The Saint was one of my favorite movies when it came out. I liked the character, but I always thought of his Bruce Wayne perfomance when he was in any kind of costume to trick someone. The Wolverine was strange to me cause the suit of that guy comes out of nowhere and he wants to lift "the curse" off Logan even when Logan tells him that he should stop that which makes saving him in the beginning pointless. I liked Deadpool but I never thought it was as funny as some people said it is. Days of Future Past is kind of good but I can't see why at the end Mystique is posing as Striker and somehow knows Logan has to have the Adamantium in his body when she safes him from drowning.
If they wanted to preserve the mystery of who the killer was in "A Kiss before Dying", they could have shot the first part of the film from a first person perspective. There's a movie called "Dark Passage" from 1947 that does a POV thing like that in the first third, and I thought it was done really well. There's another movie from 1947 called "Lady in the Lake", that apparently uses the POV gimmick through the full runtime. But I haven't seen that one, so I can't say if it's any good.
I thought about the idea of doing it in first person but couldn't see them actually going through with it. I'll keep an eye out for Dark Passage. --Robert
I have never heard people say that Buffy Season Six is terrible. I thought that was largely considered to be excellent! A lot of people love Season 3 and I think even a lot of those people think Season 6 is better.
Congratulations on catching up! Looking forward to the Generations review. It's a candidate for my least favorite Trek movie, at least during the period where I still cared about Trek. Nemesis and Into Darkness are probably objectively worse but my dreams were crushed by then. I much prefer The Wolverine over Origins, which is my least favorite X-Men movie. The Wolverine feels like an attempt at a literal comic book translation, pointless flips for action's sake included, with perhaps less than necessary consideration for the language of cinema. I liked the production design. It does go off the rails with the Silver Samurai, though.

excited for your GENERATIONS review!
I had completely forgotten I'd seen "The Wolverine" until I saw this.
I think Nicolas Hoult has great comedic timing and I enjoy when he pops up in stuff
Watching Apes film in a random order and watching Dead Reckoning without noticing it's a part one sort of deal. Well very done, that man.
I like the resident evil talk.
i think reverse angle catching up on their backlog is an omen for the end times…
finally! had enough of these pre-end times.

Godzilla vs Gigan still has the best 2v2 monster battle.

1:09:20ish... if it helps, Denise Richards has been playing moms at least as far back as the early 2000s (on Two and a Half Men)
Can't you just agree that you both suck at editing?

watch the Henkei Shoujo shorts!

I was being sarcastic about loving Origins. --Robert
