This documentary begins by looking at traditional crafts, how Malaysian lion head production and lion dance culture is being kept alive, and the historical origins of cultural exchanges between China and Malaysia. Next, we see how the mutual visa exemption policy between China and Malaysia has greatly contributed to an increase in tourism and people-to-people exchanges between the two sides. Interestingly, more and more Malaysian families today are choosing to send their children to Chinese language schools to learn Chinese, and the Chinese medicine and media programs at Xiamen University Malaysia have attracted many international students.
In addition, the documentary also explores how China has helped Malaysia make the transformation to Industry 4.0. For example, through cloud technology and the Internet of Things (IoT), China is helping Malaysia's durian farms increase both their production and efficiency, thereby injecting new momentum into the local economy. These cooperation and innovation achievements highlight the close cooperation and win-win situation between China and Malaysia on their path of common development.

Happy 50th Anniversary diplomatic relationship to China 🇨🇳 and Malaysia 🇲🇾
More than that, i think we have been trading with china for more than 500 yrs
China and Malaysia has trading for 600 years without any war.
i hope all country could be like this.
3000 years
Said Mahathir Mohammad when he was in Japan
9000 dash years😂😂😂😂😂😂
5,000,000,000,000 years according to Mahathir 😂😂😂
This is good to see. No wars only trading and building not destroying. Wish you all the best China and Malaysia.
Smart move by former 2nd prime minister the late Tun Razak to formalize relationship with China in the 60s and thus cementing Malaysia's position as a neutral country.

I am a Sixth Generation continuous Peranakan Chinese lineage, an ethnic minority of part Han part Malay. My ancestors have been in Malaysia for around 500 years, moved from Melaka to Penang over the years. We have been living in harmony with locals, no wars between nations, no colonising unlike the west. Our Chinese heritage and culture continues on over generations.
too bad still not considered as native or bumi in Malaysia, is Malaysia practicing new apartheid policy against other ethnic?

Malaysian Chinese are descendants of Chinese citizens over the centuries. Closer integration with China economically and culturally will be good for the country.

Actually the majority of the Malaysian Chinese are only 1st - 3rd generation who came less than 100 years ago. Those who's family have been here for centuries are a minority with distinct traditions and customs and are referred to as Peranakan Chinese

Some update in the Lion dance troupe thing. Thre are non-chinese Lion dance performers, not just being the drummers. There is even a Malay girl performing the ion-dance that went viral not too long ago.
Malaysia has all Indian lion dance troupe as well as inter-ethnic troupes. It’s not restricted to the young, as we have senior lion dance troupes, too.

Malaysia history during Malacca Sultanate always has been had strong relationship with especially Ming Dynasty.
Many Chinese traders at that time actually interested in trade and investment.
And also Emperor Zheng He who offered Malacca protection from Siam and Majapahit attack.
Today in present day Malacca still keen with it's Chinese population so i thought this is something that already been told from History and it should be all Malaysian must proud of.
É tão legal ver a integração histórica de duas culturas tão ricas
China never invaded Malaysia, never invaded Malacca in 1405, though China was the most powerful naval power at that time. What does the history tell us? China is a peaceful country that only wants to have a good relationship with her neighbours.

The uniqueness of Malaysian chinese descendents is that we pass down and preserve the chinese culture that are pre-cultural revolution of China. Our culture and traditions that we inherited are pre-CCP.
Thus our values are slightly different compared to mainland China ..
CPC not CCP. The West has already misused the word CCP with negative connotation.

Barulah keharmonian kekal berterusan.

Malaysian Chinese must be grateful as the Malays allow them to practice all things from China, unlike the neighbors.. Learn and embrace the Malay language to reciprocate. Then ur truly Malaysians.
Malaysian Chinese must be grateful to the Malays? 😂😂😂😂 What a joke. Malaysian Chinese should be grateful to the Kings because the decision of allowing Malaysian Chinese to stay was made by the Kings, not by the Malay rakyat marhaen. The Kings have the power to decide anything for everyone back then. So, Malaysian Chinese are eternally indebted to the Kings and they owe everything to the Kings. They owe nothing to the Malays, the Malays rakyat marhaen got no power to say anything back then.
