I think a reason why I’m so scared of getting older is because all I ever saw was people just being miserable and in pain and letting themselves go. I realized that I can be a different kind of old. Healthy and active and taking good care of myself and just overall youthful.
I still like to play and laugh and be goofy, my mother always tells me to grow up and I’m like not if it means being miserable and grumpy like she is 😂😂😂😂 I refuse!!!
Don’t grow up! My 96 yo great grandmother was so youthful and vibrant. She was a prankster, a master ribber, and curious. She taught me you have to find the joke. Life can be hard it might be long, so you might as well find the joke! Best advice ever!
Yep, all this sounds great! I’d like to add another one to the list. The last time I traveled alone for business, one of my Uber drivers was baffled by how I could actually be nearly 50 years old. After asking a series of general questions to get to the bottom of this anti-aging miracle he was beholding, he “randomly” asked me if I had kids. When I said no, he smiled and stopped asking me further questions. 😮 Lol! 😂 Kids are cute and are a blessing, but some versions that pop out may contribute to rapid aging. Much cellular repair and regeneration occurs when we sleep. Getting 7.5-9 hours of sleep certainly is a secondary privilege of not having to care for little ones unless you have a demanding pet that’s kind of like a toddler. 😅
Ha! Agree, though pets can actually keep you young too, especially if they are a high energy breed and require an enormous amount of physical activity. Ask me how I know. 😂
Lol, I've gotten that too. While a wonderful part of life, I can imagine how raising kids adds stress. But I have also seen women with children who still look amazingly young. So, idk! 🤷🏽♀️
This is pretty much the blueprint.❤ I would add: lots of laughter, fresh carrot juice, green leafy vegetables, fasting (I do a water fast at the end of each month), frequent raw vegan diets, dancing, and as you said, being in constant communication with The Most High. Cheers to staying forever young 🥂!
Yes!!! All these help as well. I'm fond of regular fasting too. I did a 10-day water fast in my late 30's and watched wrinkles melt away! (Don't try this w/out med guidance!) It seems more complex as we age though since getting adequate protein can be challenging if we fast too frequently or too long since strong muscles strengthen bones decreasing risks of falls. Balancing exercises can help too.
@@NaturalDrAmanda 10 days is impressive👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. I'm already slim, so would begin to fade away at the 7 day mark 😂. I mostly do 48- 72 hours. Yeah, muscle mass loss is a real bummer; it forces me to eat things for my body that my soul frowns at. Great sharing.💛
I absolutely loved this video!!!!!!!!!!!! It was my favorite of all of yours. I am 54 on paper, but my real age is 25! :-) I play baseball, tennis, still dance on skates and off skates and do everything I always have. 100% age is just a number and mindset is EVERYTHING. Eating healthy and getting regular exercise in fun ways and laughing and playing are huge components but so is living a life of genuinely loving everyone around us and focusing on love and gratefulness.
Get it, girl!!! Love this!!! Sounds like you’re living your best life and enjoying being young on your own terms. Thanks for the encouragement and for sharing!
I thought this was going to be all beauty tips and almost didn’t click it. I am so glad I did. You’re speaking my language in this video! Every tip you mention could be a video of its’ own. Read that again! 😊 I would add that paying attention to whole body mobility is something folks should do for their whole life. Don’t wait for the aches, pains and creaks to happen. You can prevent them by moving your whole body daily as often as possible. Make sure you can up get off the floor without using your hands. Move the way that children do.
Love these added tips!!! And no, not all beauty tips- hahaha! Beauty is wonderful, but beauty and youthfulness last only as long as you prioritize taking care of your whole self.
Clueless - great example!! ❤️⚡️🥰 I'm 44 & feeling more vibrant than ever ❤ I'm going for my childhood dreams now! that's how my life is unfolding. Youth is wasted on the young - maturity is a gift & if you can balance the passion curiosity adventure & peace - you'll feel youthful. Fitness & rest are key ❤
@@MLagarde0425Interesting to notice that out of the 4 ladies, 3 didn't birth a child (they had surrogates), and the 4th one (Iman) had only 1 child of her own. So I think child bearing and caring has definitely a strong impact on how youthful a woman looks in her 40's and beyond. Even if a woman maintains her weight and figure, parenting and pregnancy usually show on her face.
@@bellemady1iman has two children. Halle berry is her mid 50s and looks amazing with 2 kids and so does Kelly Roland. It depends on if they make self care a priority, not birthing children.
My mom was always youthful in appearance and personality. The first and last one dancing at weddings with my sister and I up there dancing with her lol always caring for herself properly and aged naturally but amazingly. I’m so thankful for watching her like that and although I don’t look as young as she always has I feel I’m doing okay lol (she got confused for being 15/16 at 30-33 and patrons at her husbands family bar she worked at called cops several times for a minor serving drinks lol) guess she was right about using sunscreen and washing off makeup 🥲

That's great I just turned 51yrs and people can't believe I have a 30yr daughter, I can still fit some jeans 👖 I had when I was 16-17 and I try them on on my B-day, 1) I have always said I wanted to be a hot 🔥 mom check ✅ 2) I don't put soap on my face and haven't for years 3) I have been taking naps since I was in my 20yr,4) I have always been into take vitamin's sometimes not regulary, 5) very natural no make up, some sheer sometimes because of oily skin sometimes, I 98%wear sunglasses and, I love my hats and staying shaded from the sun , like hats worn with sun- dresses , and no extra salt and I eat what I want but I do like alot of fruit, and I started having a😮, great awareness very young which has helped now I even sound pretty young and just got hit on by a 23 dude last week and I have a 23 year son.😅
Love this mindset... I do not expect to look my age ...like why should I 😅 so I dont! Plus I am a born vegetarian. This has helped me 100% because my meat eating friends look way older. ❤
I think 90% of looking young as we age is genetics, lifestyle, luck. I say luck because some people are born into situations that are harmful/sressful or experience things that harmful/stressful. I also look very young at 56. I am a black woman with medium brown skin. I am often mistaken for someone in my 30s. I have never used expensive products. I am glad you are not promoting products.

Totally feel you on this. Older doesn't have to mean "being old".
😮 I am nearly 60. Remove sugar & processed foods from diet. If u dont want to age. Daily Exercise is key.
