I got hired as RCA in the next town over. Did my fingerprints and have an orientation date. Then, today, my hometown offered me the cca position finally. So i gladly resigned from the RCA position. Im so happy man. Didnt want to destroy my car or buy a second car. Plus you have to worry about insurance. Not worth a dollar an hour and measily ema pay. Plus i like the guarantee to be career.
Just sayin…. I live in a very rural town and there are no CCA positions available. That is why people stay a RCA, because the CCA is not available for us. My post office is Grundy, Virginia. It is a 6 route post office with 1 contractor route. We only have 1 post office automobile and it is a Tetris and that is only used for a 2 hour route. So, that option of becoming a CCA is not available for everyone especially when we live in backwoods USA. Again…. Just sayin!!!!

Yea if you in that type of situation then I understand. But if your not then I’ll always say CCA is better
