I think people have labeled every album since Welcome to Earth as Apoptygma Berzerk's "sellout album" but I've always felt that there was a natural progression, some kind of barely describable throughline. And honestly, while I do like other albums more, there are some damned good songs on YaMAtW. I still start singing every time Mercy Kill comes up on shuffle.

I agree, I still love their music even if it seems more guitars than synths, the main point is they still make catchy awesome music. Also I like how, compared to a lot of other artists that are grouped in with them, Apop always seemed more upbeat. LOVE APOP.
