Samsung's killing it with there A series of phones.... . Unless your a die in the wood iPhone users theses are way better choices then that rehashed iPhone 8 . Sure its the a13 chip but honestly budget phone people dont geek out on spec , but they do love a big screen and long battery and more camera options

It definitely seems to be a laggy phone even with basic tasks. And for a bit more money we can get a much better A51. I have a Galaxy S10e (Exynos) so I think now I wouldn't get used to a midrange phone again and when I have my parents' last year Galaxy A40 in hands, it feels quite slow when compared to my S10e. So I cannot imagine what it would be like with an A31. And the lack of a night mode is very bad especially with a midrange device that struggles in low light situations... I use the night mode on my S10e a lot. Looking forward to see your A31 review, that might be entitled Galaxy A31 review after 31 days 😂😂
Also have the S10e, but with the US market 855 Snapdragon. My only complaint is the battery, but my solution for that was to order a 2nd S10e and fire up another phone line for an extra $30/ month. I'll go from having 3,100 mA to 6,200 to get me through the day. One for business and one for play. Just waiting for the price on the 8Gb/256Gb to hit $350 [new] and I'm pulling the trigger. Pretty sure having two of the S10e will take me deep into 2022, because I feel like Samsung won't make a phone like it for a long time.

Yep for general use this will work! I will say my unit has a loud power button which has been kinda annoying but it might just be mine. Battery life is great, you'll get at least 2 days out of it on a charge!
Shane Symonds the issue with the power button, is it specific for your unit or to the a31 itself because that can be a deciding factor for some people?
