Nice! You are going to be very happy with that. Back when we went to lithium they were still costing about 1000 per hundred ah. So I built mine from cells and it was a fun science project but I would definitely not do it with today's prices. Nice that you have the lithium support already built into the supporting electronics - that does make it plug-n-play (really doubt your imagine had that - our 2020 didn't ). This will really open up boondocking options for you guys. Oh man carrying that battery under the trailer would have killed my back! The charging profile for lithium is different from lead acid and it may take longer to charge if the converter does not recognize it to be lithium so you may eventually want to explore that further but it's not like it's going to damage it. Great job on filming this. Congratulations!

Great upgrade! Now you will run out of water before you run out of power. Lead acid batteries can only be discharged to 50% before damage happens. LifePo4 batteries can be taken down to 0%, though not recommended to go below 20%. One nit pick. There's a difference between lithium and lithium iron phosphate. You have a LifePo4 battery. Lithium batteries are dangerous and notorious for catching on fire. I just don't want people to be confused over your calling it a lithium battery vs lithium iron phosphate. Completely different chemistry. Keep on truckin!

Awesome, I often thought about getting a Lithium battery for our North Point, but for what we do and we don't boondock so it might not be worth it for us, but I can change my mind, I will wait until you really test it out.
@@bishopgeorge1333 Hello Bishop George, one of the reasons are we love camping in State and National Park. Most of those places have no electricity. They are usually a lot cheaper too. That battery is huge. I don’t think it’s going to fit under the stairs in our motorhome. But that’s a lot of Ah for the money!
I just looked on Amazon and they have a smaller one that would fit. Might need to buy a couple of these! Looking forward to seeing your review on these after using them out in the wilderness!

Hi Noel, we are on the road and the battery working amazingly well. The DC converter has finally turned to blue recognizing as a Lithium battery. The solar kept it to 100% while traveling. I have got say so far I am really impressed!! Thanks you for asking and joining us! Stan🙏🏼

My trailer has two 100 amp hour lithium batteries can this be ran in conjunction with those two? We have 440 solar
Hi Bob, I don’t see why you can’t add to what you have. Here is the thing does your batteries have BMS in them? That would give you 660ah. Stan

@@OverTheHillAdventures You need more solar panels. I get their expensive, but no one wants to hear a running generator while boondocking. Renogy makes a portable 200 watt panel for $300.00. Money well spent. Eventually you will be like the rest of us with upgrades to the tune of $7,000 to $10,000.
@@louissantoscoy6461 I might go with two more solar panels for a total of 1320 watts. Then I’ll need to get a 3000watt inverter and soft starts for the air conditioner! 😂😂😂

@@deangraboskey2564 Hi Dean, we were going to explain that in Season 8. We bought a low profile air conditioner for the front of the rig. With two inches to spare. It’s call the Mach 8 made by Coleman. The Mach 15 was 14 1/2 inches high. The Mach 8 is 8 1/2 inches high. Just enough to get in the RV garage. It plug right in. It wasn’t cheap but the best option for us.
I keep my Generator as a backup Cause In case solar doesn't work when it's cloudy for a few days, Or God forbid something else happens to your Solar System, You want every option at your command for your frigerator.

I'm I'm curious are you gonna be able to run your air conditioner with the 2000 inverter, I have a 3000wat, and I can run my 15000BTU but I put an easy start on it, and I need to get more solar on top, I already have 400 on top and a 200w fold up From what I was told I needed at least 800watts or more, once you figure all this out, which you'll be learning alot, you fine their all kinds of way to do things, oh plug my 30amp plug into my inverter. And your new should weigh less then 5 acid batteries.
@@camperbum I just got a solar generator from All Powers. 2500watts and 4000 watt peak weighs about 60lbs. Has a 30amp plug. I already ran my old rig on the VTOMAN. Worked really well. Charged it up all day with solar and ran the trailer with minimal stuff. Ran the heater all night. I don’t think there is anyway I can run the air conditioner with an 2000watt inverter. Even with a slow start. I still have a lot to learn!!
