  • I was asked to perform a RV inspection for a client looking to purchase this 2009 Veranda as a private sale in Mesa, Arizona the other day. I did not intend to make a video but thought the Veranda is already one of the most interesting RV's made especially as the previous owners re-modeled this luxury RV with a newer interior.
This is a nice unit that could use some love, but I was happy to share it.
    Thanks for watching!!

Video wrapping up... and I'm thinking MAAAN... I'd love to see that veranda close. And as I had my finger on the mouse button - wish granted!

I own a Country Coach...wish it was a Veranda! Surprised a modern rendition of this hasn't been copied by other manufacturers.

I LOVE the veranda. A lot of folks are saying, "step out the door, and that's your patio!" have obviously never boondocked. Ma'am, there are snakes and things on the ground. I don't want either of us bothered. If I'm up on my veranda, everyone is safer. Y'all do NOT want to see my reaction to having a critter step on me at night. Has now happened twice. Once a mountain lion jumped a fence right beside my chair. I'd love a little 2 foot clearance between my nerves and the ground in the evenings. Ah well, I will keep my National RV, and continue to live life on the wild side, with my feet on the ground.

How would the crack on the outside wall be fixed? If just a simple fiberglass fill-in repair, would it not just crack again?

A-mazing layout! Many thanks for sharing! I did like the "Transformer-TV on the Patio!" I have NEVER seen anything like that! Thanks for the "Roof Inspection" video... never get tired of that! Hope the potential owner still wants to enjoy this rare addition! Looks really nice! ~Big C in the DP 📢 ::: Air Horn 📢 ::: ::: Air Breaks! ::: 🚌🚌🚌

While I can appreciate the time and effort involved to "refinish" the cabinetry, I'm not sure it would appeal to all buyers. The fact that there is still a fair amount of evidence of it being done after the fact would bother me. But to each his own. While I know the Veranda layout does not appeal to everyone, I do think it was interesting if nothing else. Enjoy your videos!

I love the veranda units. My concern would be getting parts for it since it hasnt been produced in more than a decade. Good luck if you ever get in an accident and need to get it repaired. I give CC credit for taking a chance and coming out with something unique.

In general, I'm a huge CC fan, but this coach is indeed a bit rough. Having spent some time in a friends CC Veranda, I can tell you there is no way I'd ever buy a Veranda. The loss of space in the galley is remarkably noticeable due to the need of having those stacked sliding doors....feels very tight. Given I don't spend the majority of my time on a "deck", I find it's more of a conversation piece than practical.

Hmmm. No dining table or chairs? I owned a Veranda for 7 years and loved it. I'd usually keep my dining table and chairs on the veranda along with a propane Weber Q, with stand, on the patio hooked up to the main propane tank. The grill even traveled inside the coach while traveling. I loved cooking and eating on the deck. The biggest issue for us was storms. I had a cover for the table and chairs and that helped a lot. But the awning was always deployed and a constant worry about storms. If you aspire to own a Veranda just be sure you like people! A four slide coach can isolate you from other campers but the Veranda invites everyone to come by and talk about it.

This would be the lowest level Veranda - based on the CC Inspire model. A Veranda version was available for the Inspire, Allure, Intrigue and Magna. James noted the dash was more basic and had no Silverleaf - this would be one example of the Inspire not being as full featured as other CC models.

plumbing: James I heard from another tech on TH-cam, there are widespread plumbing issues due to improper installation at the factory. This is even in those manufactures with a reputation for high quality, thoughts?
