    I just now used it in my shower which had built-in grime from years back. I used the pink product and it's whiter than I've ever seen it before. Instead of using elbow grease I stood in the shower used the scrubber under my feet. I'll finish it tomorrow but there is a difference. I will be buying this product again. I keep going back in there and looking at it again. I can't believe it. I couldn't remove the stains with any other product.

    I made the mistake of using The Pink Stuff paste on my glass stovetop after seeing others do it. Whelp, I guess I have a little more elbow grease than others, because I scratched my stovetop. 😞
    I didn’t think about using it on sneakers, that’s a great suggestion! Always appreciate your videos 👏🏻👏🏻

      you can use it on glass, but not for scrape. mostly to let it sit harden a little bit and then wipe it off with water, usually best with steamer.

      It’s basically like baking soda paste. As far as the abrasive properties. Sandpaper

      Bar Keepers Friend is much less abrasive and safer to use on more delicate surfaces like stainless steel. Don't use this stuff on stainless steel!

    It's extremely popular with cleaners here but I don't rate it and don't use it. It is versatile and super cheap and I like the smell. You'll be scrubbing forever trying to get pans clean with it. I find it a pain to rinse the granules too, they seem to reappear when the surface dries. It's hugely overhyped. I used it and never repurchased. I think the tub concept is really unhygienic too.

      I agree!!!! I saw a knock off at Dollar Tree so I grabbed it pretty much the same thing not as gritty but works the very same maybe don't have quartz in it but it does the job just as well and it's 3 bucks cheaper...

    Wepos putstein (cleaning paste) is much finer and the best all-round domestic cleaning paste and does not scratch. All of these fine particle cleaners are abrasive. The ones claiming not to sctrach have smaller particles so you can't see the microscratches. You should anyway use a soft sponge or cloth and not a scouring pad as shown in the video. Pink stuff is not good for any delicate glass, plastic, paint etc. I bought it to use in the garage and workshop for cleaning patina and rust and for dirty metal surfaces rather than in the house.

    There used to be a product called glass wax ( I found it at a recycling center where you can take stuff home for free and I took like 5 quarts of the stuff. It was in metal cans from the 1960s judging by the styling and it was for glass. So I thought this will be a mess, but I tried it on some glass. It had water deposits on it and it scrubbed nicely and it came off beautifully, and that glass was polished.) anyway somebody asked me to buff their glass out and I didn’t have my glass wax so I went to Home Depot and I got some stuff called pink stuff. It’s in a quart plastic quart and I’m using it on different things and wondering kind of what it’s good for? This stuff I’ve got is not a paste it’s a liquid and I suppose you could use it on glass plastics and things like that. So if you didn’t know anything about cleaning, I guess you could certainly use barkeepers friend on what this guy is using it for and barkeepers’s friend is a beautiful job on metal and glass claims it doesn’t scratch but it’s just cleanser. If you need to do a fiberglass shower, what do you do you take some powdered tide make a paste out of it apply it, leave it for about an hour and then wipe it off and it takes soap scum off without scrubbing and smells great.

    Thank you for the info. I had never heard of this, but it sounds like….basically you are using a very very fine sand paper to clean your items. So as long as people understand that is what you are actually doing, sanding off dirt and grime then it will do the job. I would NEVER use this on my tile, stove top, quartz countertops or my glass shower surround. But I can see using it on the grates on my stove or the BBQ grill grates, my tennis shoes. We have a septic and using this type of product over long periods of time will leave a sand type residue in the septic and that's not good when you pump your Septics out every 2 years…. Just my 2¢.

    • @CleanWithConfidence
      @CleanWithConfidence  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No I would use a tub and tile cleaner that comes in a spray bottle. You spray it on the soap scum, let it sit and dwell for ten minutes then use a Scotch Brite sponge to scum it away.
