- Went over to Missouri to do a two night solo backpacking trip in the Paddy Creek Wilderness. I talk about struggles, pitfalls, and random hangups. My trip got cut short because of a family emergency. It's a wild ride that had a better ending than I could have hoped for. Cheers to all the pets out there. Life wouldn't be half as sweet without them.
Another great video buddy! so sorry I couldn't be there! Hope Millie is doing well!
Love the Piney! I bear your same guilt (as you already know), keep grabbing ahold of life the way you see fit! Looking forward to getting back out there with you
Awe, I am sorry your dog is not well. I pray for your dogs healing, peace for you and your wife also.
I absolutely understand what you're saying. As a self-employed web developer, I have the same conflict. In my early 60's, it's hard to shake the work ethic we were raised with.
Glad to know that I’m not the only one! Cheers!
Brian, if you're ever near Big Piney again and need a hiker buddy give me a shout. Love it out there.
Hey thanks for the offer! I love it out there too. I usually do that loop 4 or 5 times a year. Maybe we'll meet up down there someday!
I do have the same struggle!! I do work 60hrs a week but never take unwind time. That changes this year!!
Hell yeah! Hope you get out there and do some serious adventuring this year!
I usually don’t feel too guilty about when out in the woods during the work week, but sometimes I get reminded when heading out there that not everyone has the same amount of vacation…
Ever have any trouble with leaving your vehicle at the trailhead
I’ve left my vehicle at the trailhead at least twenty times now and I’ve never had any trouble, but I’m always nervous about it!
@briangoodman8990 thanks only live about 30 miles from there have to try it
Absolutely! It's a great trail and I'll be heading down there soon myself. Happy hiking! @@williamearl546
