you should add a very short grace period once they get out of the water where the sun doesn't burn them as they water falls off of them (let's say 0.2 - 0.5 seconds, depending on how long they were in the water for so people can't just abuse it and hop in and out of the water)
A game like deepwoken with this system would eb great but if u add like a city in the water with a race that allows you to not drown in da water but u have debuff in land + the vampire class it would be rly op but also cool cuz it would create class and race synergy and mechanics
Cuz I wanna do sum similar for another thing but I tried using runservuce but I feel like it's way too kaggy runsrvice with racist and lighting service all combined
That's how I did it and then I thought well it's better if I just get a part where that's in the shadow change the parts hit box visible or not depending on the time of day
@canilo_7672 I did it this way pretty much, I get the sun's direction then add it to the characters position, Then raycast like 50k studs in the direction, if it hits anything then that means it makes a shadow, otherwise it is sun.
