- We stayed at the KOA Badlands White Water River Campground in Interior, SD just 5 miles from the Badlands. We met up with Mark and Jen who were boondocking on the "wall" and rode our Spyders through there multiple times. We went to Wall Drug as well, which was way bigger than we ever expected and toured Minuteman Missile. Boondocking area is in this video along with our Report Card on the KOA.

We are Dave and Karen and have retired. We decided to sell our home in Georgia in 2017 to live full time in an RV to travel across America to see the beauty of our country and meet awesome people along the way.

Great video!❤️ Badlands has been one of our favorite places so far! That boondocking spot was definitely a memory our family will never forget! ❤️
That's awesome. Hope to go back some day.
Love the Dakota’s and love KOA -Pretty much stay exclusive at KOA’s 🎉⭐️🚌🇺🇸
A little pricey, but all the ones we've stayed in have gotten thumbs up.
We camped at that boondocking spot - it was awesome!! We had one night where the wind was so back we pulled in our slides since I didn't want the slide toppers to be ripped off. Just a spectacular view!
Oh yeah...can be very windy. We have had to do the same thing and pulled slides in.
Thank you! We appreciate your review!
You're welcome.
We love this KOA!!!!
Super nice!
@@WattsOnWheels We've stayed in the cabins a couple of times there, and we are going to be tent camping there this summer.
At 21:50 is where we stayed on the “Wall” last summer. Like you said leveling was the hardest thing, plus the wind was howling when we were there. Getting up at 5am every morning to watch the sunrise was amazing!
We are thinking of boondocking there if we get to come back. 1🤞
@@WattsOnWheels I think you now have to get a permit to stay there now because it’s become so popular.
Great video my wife and I took just about the same trip you guys did. We live in nj left July 5 this past summer and got home the first week in September we went all out through Wyoming both to Dakotas Montana, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Kansas, Wisconsin, Missouri, Ohio. We had a great time. It’s a beautiful country. We seen all the main attractions, and all those states I bought an HDT in May that was its maiden voyage we put over 6000 miles on it we love it 2016 International ProStar. J&A
Awesome guys! You were on the move to see that much in only a couple of months. It is beautiful! Doesn't take long to put the mileage on with a trip like that. Glad you had a great trip.
One of our favorite areas of SD. We usually stay in the campground behind the visitor center. Once got stuck in the middle of a big buffalo herd with a big bull sitting across the road. Brings back good memories.
Always fun to be in the middle of wildlife. Stay safe.
Yay, this was the KOA where we met you in person. We have the blue/gray Renegade Valencia. We enjoyed the campground too. Thanks for a great video.
Our pleasure! Hope your adventures are keeping a smile on your face.
Love this! We have a Renegade Verona LE and hope to cross paths with the Watts someday
Great video! That BLM campaign area was crazy lookin’. Don’t wanna have too many houseboat teas and go off wandering at night around there.😂 Happy travels.👍🏼😎🍻
Wouldn't want to fall into the mucky river. LOL
Although it was more expensive than some campsites you visit I liked it , it was very well set up and certainly had enough room for you guys , easy to access.
The Badlands......wow....I'm a bit lost for words , just fantastic...i bet the minute man tour etc was really interesting , i remember hearing about the minute men when i was younger. The more I see of America through you guys the more I totally understand why Dave hasnt ever left .....why leave when you have all the natural beauty and amazing places to last you a lifetime to see . Another fantastic video guys , hope dave got his arm back out of the bison ok 😊 and as always thanks Karen for taking the extensive time to edit and upload these videos , you guys know how much I appreciate them ...as always I've watched it twice already as I have to keep pausing it to take in the amazing views 🤩
Amazing how different the scenery is from one place to another...sometimes just across the street. Dave has a new job working with bison. Lol
I love these report cards y’all do.
You are definitely my go to TH-cam people.
Who knows, we might run into you. Well not literally run into you. 😂👍
Thanks so much. Lol...hope you got insurance.
😂😂🙌
❤❤❤❤
Hi guys
Great Video..... Neat Place for sure ! Was that a Goat Peeing at 13:27 ? better than #2 I Guess... I see you said Ram later on... thanks for the info also I need to bring the wife there !
You caught that hub? Lol. Can't stop mother nature.
Haven’t seen a phone booth in forever
I know. Crazy.
👍🇺🇲
Thanks for watching.
Dave, you changing in a phone booth is not the reason Karen calls you"Superman".lol
Lol. You got that right.
I looked on the website for prices and was astonished! Do people really pay $100 and more a night to stay in your own rv? That is nuts! I could stay in a motel for that price..
I know. It's crazy and they know they have you over a barrow. When you get to areas like this, they soak you and so do the motels.
KOA's always seem to be overpriced imo.
Yep. And they know they'll get it.
Merry Christmas, and a happy new year to you and Karen..!!
Same to you! Thanks so much for following us.
