I had this done to my rig a year ago. I am like you guys, I didnt have any leaks and didnt want to have any so this was the best option. Had mine done in Prescott Az. Great product!
Glad you still like your roof. We are really glad we got ours done too... prevention.
To me the one thing about RVs that is a "liability" is all the penetrations through the roof and that with sealants that break down. It only takes a pin hole to cause major damage from water intrusion. Even if they are supposed to, many people don't check their roofs, or put it off until expensive repairs are necessary. This product virtually eliminates the "thing". Great video; enjoyed it.

We did this also for our 20 year old Winnebago motorhome. The cost is big but well worth the upgrades in max air fans, mounts, and roof! She really looks new now. ❤ We also were on the fence about covering up the shower skylight but also the right decision. We noticed we are warmer in the cold and much cooler in the summer heat. We live 60 miles north of you. Always have admired the units you had for sale. Didn't realize you did this. I might get our 5th wheel redone in a year or 2.

We had a FlexArmor roof installed on our 2017 Cyclone back in 2020. We absolutely love it, fantastic investment from MANY standpoints. The added insulation value is top notch, warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer; quieter as well. We had them spray right over our skylight in the shower best decision ever! Lifetime transferable warranty. We had ours installed by DFW in Denton Texas. FlexArmor Roof has become popular these past few years. Much better value for your $$$ than a factory roof. Our roof has stayed white all these years later!

I am sold, LOL. We are sitting with a broken skylight that the technician accidentally damaged at PDI when he installed our Max Air II covers, but they were out of stock. Since then the CEO won't let us stay in the RV during repairs, a big change that came after we bought from Lazy Days, initially they wanted us to empty the RV & come back in two months, LOL. Unfortunately Sheila broke her upper right arm with a spiral fracture since so I have to care for her 24/7 & have been unable to go over to get our skylight from L.D. yet. We still want an HD truck, but it's clear with her new bionic arm & her bum motorcycle leg that we can't do a regular HDT, so now we are looking at either Toter Homes (rear door RV style entrance) or a Super C. Anyway, We love the new roof with Gusto!!!
Sorry to hear how one minor thing can prevent you from using your RV. Dave had the same fracture in his upper arm. Full of pins and plates. There is no problem with his arm now, but he throws a ball like a girl. LOL. We couldn't get in our HDT without the extra steps.

Everyone is going to be different depending on how much stuff you have on it, condition, size, etc. Rolling Retreats have no problem giving you an estimate with no pressure. Just give them a call.

Yes. The rubber type material they spray on is gray. Then they top coat paint it white. If it shows through, then they need to add more topcoat paint.

It looks like someone threw a gray blanket over it. It's obviously still shiny on the inside but absolutely no light.
I wonder how that stuff would work as a roof on the houseboat? I've been debating using a spray in bedliner company to do mine
We'd love to do that too, but no way to get it into their spray booth. :)
U would think that Rv companies would give you this option when doing a build it’s a no brainer. What did this cost if you don’t mind me asking.
It would be nice, but I barely trust them to build an RV. I think this should be left to the pros. If they sent it out to the pros like many do for the paint job, they'd probably double the price. A good rule of thumb is $175.00/linear foot to start.

I have no idea as we are 40 feet, had 8 solar panels and other things to remove. You would need to call them.

There are other locations that do this work. Maybe there is one closer to you that would be able to help you.
Hey @Dave, is that cable running the length of the rig for the invisible trailer repeater? We're full-time 3.5 years and have been looking to use our 2020 Chevy to set up invisible trailer but haven't quite got it solved yet. Thanks for any response.
That cable you see running across the roof is for the rear camera and it runs to a repeater at the front of the RV.
That cable you see running the length of the RV roof goes to our rear camera and it is attached to a routing repeater at the front of the RV.

Cost will be different for everyone depending on size and how much stuff you have and if there is any damage. I think they start around $4000. They'll give you an estimate with no obligation.
Why don't DRV's come from the factory with a FlexArmor roof?
It would be an option if you want to pay for it upfront. Most people would balk at the price if it were added at the factory.
Would be a nice option but I'd trust the Flexarmor pros before DRV.

Are you speaking of our rig or any DRV? We've done so many upgrades on our rig, it's better than what you get new now.
I can testify to the rig... Their home is very nice... Dave and Karen both keep that thing up perfect...
