This video just helped me decide to get this for my '15 F80 too, want to update those tail lights haha. For the left side where you routed the long wire and put it through the hole as it goes up, did you have to shave the plastic piece from the outer tail light that usually goes through that hole? Keep up the good work, your videos are really helpful!
Nice! You won’t get tired of staring at them! And I didn’t trim anything I routed the wire through the hole but there was still enough room for the plastic tab to go in with the wire in place I’m sure you could cut it tho

V2's look way better than the V1's IMO I just wish the sequential turn signal on the Outer Light turned off at the same time as the inner like on the V1's, oh well when do I ever use the turn signals anyway. haha

folks if you look at it in details, you would found that the each pieces of lights is totally different from the REAL GTS tailight, that each lighting component is much thicker than real one, no doubt, its beautiful on a F80, but the technology is completely different that why this is much cheaper.

Yeah realized that later that night lol with the key unlocking and locking it. I’m assuming you can turn them off with the car off and just moving the light switch?
@@jaimehurtado356 yeah dont put your foot on the brake while hitting the ignition. Car is technically on and running off battery, just dont have all the things turned on lol, i learned the hard way...lithium batterys are not cheap!

I would be lying if I said I knew I never see my car from the outside only when I tested the lights but they seem bright even in daylight when I lock/unlock the car
I got them off eBay I would link them but the vendor sold out so I can’t link them, just search eBay for vendors that accept best offer, but yeah they are by vland you can get them from vland directly

There’s a hole to run that wire to and pull the carpet liner back in the trunk to route it

Yeah figured it out! I used the hole that is in between the two bolts that hold the putter light in place

I got it from harbor freight I believe it was $100 it’s a 2 ton low profile jack very handy my old 1.5 ton didn’t lift the car up nearly as much
