Glad you posted this review. Was looking for a solid video on youtube covering these as I was thinking about pulling the trigger on them. Gonna stick with my LCI sequential style 👍🏼
Glad I could offer so more insight to help with your decision 🙏 They really do look appealing in pictures but in person, a bit disappointing. You originally have the Red LCI style?

thanks for doing this my brother And i have the same car same color and wheels, but he just put the gts style taillights on . I'm definitely going to get these , i think they will look great on the silver f30 !
Honestly surprised lol. But I think they’ll loook good with the silver. Maybe if it was a darker color, not so much.
They match the white car better, I like it 😊
I do think it helps that the car is white. I think it would not look as good with a dark color.

You can code the rear lights to stay on as drls using bimmercode. Thickwhips made a video on it.
I actually like these. It's throwback M style tail lights with the red section and clear section like older M's (E60, E36, E46 etc)

Not gonna lie its look pretty good when the drl is not on for me. You should of go with amoked clear gts.

I think I would of rather seen the shadow line LCI taillights on alpine white. Might tie everything together a bit more.
Shadow line? which version is that?
They are darker red version of the OEM LCI taillights. Turn signals light up orange. Only available in Europe, best looking tailights in my opinion. Second favorite on white is the black line.
@@BrandonF80 I looked at some photos of them. Wow they look really good. I would love to get a set of those. They definitely look better than these clear lens and maybe even the GTS style.

I think a thin line license plate frame would clean up the back.

I actually have been getting bothered by the thick line recently cause its kinda blocking the number. so I think i am going to do that
I have the gta ones on my 340 and the only complaint is that it throws up bulb out warnings and the indicators re woefully dim during the day time so are a hazard
I didnt have any bulb warnings when I had the GTS. However the indicators being dim is also my only complaint
hey i jus purchased a 2013 335i with the n55 i also purchased a charge pipe, downpipe and bootmod3. what maintenance should i do to the car ? like what gaskets and seals fluids etc any help is appreciated i plan on going for stage 2!
i literally have the same one and everything but the boot mod tune, just replace your valve cover gasket and your oil every 3k miles! 😊

Man that clip at @5:10 is very tough to get in dude, tried for 1 hour but i have a big gap, its loose now so i have to adjust it. Any tips bro? the passenger side went in like a breeze
Yeah that is the hardest part tbh. All I can say is you have to clamp the tail light together with the trunk and then hit it from the side to get it to lock in place

Your quest to make your car look as different as possible has lead it to becoming one of the ugliest modded f30s out there. especially earlier with the black hood and those weird front fangs
