I can honestly say that the overall general skill level of the whole CS scene has gone up where even ok players can shoot. In a way the valorant influence is 2 ways, both that the shooting feels crisper and easier and more clear, and also that theres more people just aware of the higher levels. Everyone knows about youtubing call outs, and nades, and everyone plays prefire, and refrag and prac maps, everyone has all seen the same tutorials and its saturated with mediumly capable people now, that at the very least, make advantages more about logistics and knowledge and less about sheer out fragging. In almost every game ive played recently the enemy seems to come back and adapt and everyone has tricks up their sleeves. Like for example Dust 2 is now a great equalizer where people have a hard time beating supposedly "worse" players because everyone knows it deeply. Theres also something to be said about the meta and its various viable options. Aggression is more viable now early on. And its not easy to counter. The game is more snowbally now, more dynamic. The game also has no idea about past skill so jumping in its easy to just get wonky lopsided matchmaking against people who are reasonably deadly against a team of less capable people and you can have a situation where individual skill barely can shine and only superior and inferior teamwork as decided by the matchmaker are at play. In short, even weak people can be good if they group up, its a team game. And theres more people than ever that are decent at the game from just the more advanced and aware meta.
@@zndxt1970 I got 3600 in premiere and I used to be global elite in cs go. Then when I play matches it’s stomps saying 350 if I win but then I get put with loser bracket scrubs against normal people with like one really good guy that all my teammates die to every round.

@TheWarOwl could you increase bitrate, or stream at higher resolutions, e.g. 4K? 1080p is just terrible now. Watch the video yourself, it's blocky for the most part.
@WarOwl I felt your pain in the Overpass game. CT side is often like this for me, T side plays like pro, hitting everything. Then switch sides and they play like silvers on CT. Once you get in a slump it is so hard to break out of the negativity. Adapt and overcome!
I thought the corsair custom lab allowed you to upload your own graphics but “custom” is actually just from a selection of graphics that you can choose, still they look nice.
hey warowl, im Mary and thats me who just joined the mills game at 1:44:59 im a very casual fan and cs player whos current average rank about gold nova 3 or 4, i dont really do any practice, like at all, and i only know proper utility on one map, overpass, so i really am a casual player. i kinda wasnt having a very good few days, not that a horrifically bad event happened, i was just being bombarded some transphobic media combined with US politics and it was getting pretty bad on my mental. seeing you in my game completely unexpectedly made my day, and even better, im glad i didnt perform completely garbage in front of you :)

I suspect you'll find the same thing in MM where as you get higher level you'll get more cheaters. I think Valves' anti-cheat philosophy is just to segregate the cheaters naturally into the highest ranks. Maybe they figure everyone high-ish level who doesn't cheat is on Faceit anyway...which is probably true and I guess this all works in a kinda broken way...but the whole thing makes Valve look pretty impotent. I'm not sure how to feel about it.

With you on that. Towards the end of GO, even before the CS2 rumours, I just got completely burnt out and lost all passion for CS. Some people need to learn how to take a break. There are other games you can play, if you still want to play something. (and then you'll see just how many cheaters are there everywhere, even in racing games)

Worse ranking system, had less features at launch. The new graphical update only puts it at MW2019 graphics at best, not even cutting edge. Meaning a good amount of players have to force an upgrade without even getting top-notch graphical fidelity. Granted CSGO was shit at launch as well, so I'm assuming CS2 will eventually get honed into greatness just like CSGO did. This is the game we're expecting to be playing for at least 8-10 years before the next graphical/technological leap. So it will be become a great game eventually. .

For me, it's music, girlfriend, dog, or simply just getting up and walking around the house. You could see that when he was doing poorly, instead of focusing on the game or taking a mental break, he was constantly looking at chat. He's so worried about what people will say about him. It's just not healthy. He could've just said "brb going to drink water" and come back fresh. Also, I've noticed he never drops for a teammate unless they ask him. Very selfish/self-centered. e.g. 1:26:18 and 1:27:52. Both times purple was right in front of WarOwl, so he could see the money and equipment he had, and both times WarOwl was not a good teammate. He had way more money than anyone else, yet didn't offer to drop even though he checked scoreboard, and probably even the HUD at the top (shows how much money you and others have).
