I needed this this evening I lost my mama this morning so watching my favourite show helps ,,,we had the most beautiful light show here the other night in Scotland it was spectacular...
Oh i missed it by that much!! Here i Canada on the Plains from where im from in Saskatchewan. We get to watch them all the time. Mostly in the summer its crystal clear an so bright. The Northern Lights. For the first nations there are held as sacred spirits dancing in the sky. ❤❤❤❤❤. I love watching you create beautiful stone into gorgeous gemstones .
The video you posted earlier was freaking HILARIOUS ! I will be watching that again, it made me laugh so hard. Needed that today. Can’t wait to see more videos please please please. And yeah the Northern Lights. I’m an old pheasant hunter, and some of the uplands I used to hunt are a good 4-5 hours away, so we’d leave very early in the morning, 2-3 am a lot of times, so we could be ready to hunt at sun up. A few times we had to stop the truck and get out because the aurora would be flashing across the sky. I’m in Nebraska so when we get to see them it is very special as they don’t normally reach this far south.
I ended yesterday watching you, and started this morning watching you. Wonderful! lovely set with some good surprises in there. Love those cushion cuts.
Saw the Aurora's in Eastern Oregon. Not well defined, but made the sky brighter than a full moon, even though we had no moon at all. Worth staying up for.😊
So sorry I missed most of this live. I had to watch again. Very therapeutic to watch. Thank you for sharing the cutting of these stones. I've learned so much from your channel.
I have been doing cabs by hand, only using a Dremel tool to do the fine grind and polish. I use a rough flat diamond steel and graduate to machinist wet/dry paper to get my shape. I've done mostly softer minerals but graduated to agates, chalcedony, and fire agates ( very hard materials) You should see my nails!
Your opinion is worth listening to because you have the training. It's so much fun to see you working and what beauty shows up as you work. You enjoy your work.
Here in SW Washington, our area was slightly overcast (as usual) but It was Pink….. Was So Weird 🧐 Loved It 😍‼️… Now let’s see what beauties you find today 🩵💛❤️💜💙🩷🖤💚
Fell asleep waiting again up here in lreland! Breakfast with Justin instead. Saw pink haze for the Aurora, thats all unfortunately where l am, 2:04 but others had a tremendous view! Getting another coffee and settling in for a session of peaceful admiration as you birth Opals now!
Seen the Nothern lights in south England on Friday only. Pretty rare here. I’m from Canada and used to warch them a lot into the north of Quebec 😜 Too bad I missed your live video again 😪
Just a thought, I don't think we should call them pool noodles anymore. They have so many other uses that I've seen other than pool floats. I'll have to say that using it as a cushioned rest on a cabbing machine is definitely a great use.
26:30 A polished rock is only as much worth as we want. Opal is like old paintings. Someone said Van Gogh´s painting (with the farmers) costs 80 Million. Once I saw something like that at a flea market for 10 € ;)
We got to see the northern version from Northern California. Yes they were visible in Europe too. I could see them best through the camera in my iPhone.
Haha just saw you on pine ridge road about an hour ago I was screaming and waving as you drove past but had my window up so you didn’t see me haha. Maybe one day we will cross paths again 😂🌈🔥
Am I missing an episode , what happened too that other amazing Opal you got with the fossilised muscle in Lightning Ridge , that looked even more amazing than the fossil you cut which was the best cut yet , that other Opal you got will be the best colour ever👌👌 You still studying it Justin ? Or did you do an episode on it I’ve missed ? Regards to your family
@@blackopaldirect thanks Justin , unfortunately I don’t do Facebook or instagram . It would be great too see a short or the cut video in here if you could 🙏 it really was amazing looking gem , dying too see how it turned out

All my neighbors had pics of the aurora. But they took em.from way outside of town and said they could only see it on their digital cameras

So I just saw that lightning ridge was shut down from mining any claims from 2015-2023 because of paper work issues
All fixed now that was last year 👌

Just to report on the Northern Lights, the north of Sweden and Norway are prime spots viewing them. 🇸🇪

Me as well. I was told about the short funny video, which was great, but not this one!
Notifications have gone all wonky, imho.
Michael, from Michigan. Do you ever look at the gems under UV? Would they look different, if you were at a dance with blacklights?
Turn up
A good opal is hard to find, so please be careful of this opal of mine! Feel free to sing while you work Justin !
