NIce Review. I stay at the InterContinental near Buckingham Palace in January for 5 nights. I am wondering how it will compare :-) Did you have any train noise with the Waterloo station so close. I wonder what the hotel would have said if you asked to trade in a bottle of wine for a Caffeine free Diet Coke.

Did you travel on the tube during your stay? We just were in NYC and had a terrible experience with trying to get to the subway from the W44th Street InterContinental. Station entrance was next door, but the elevator looked like someone was living in it and using it as a latrine. It was turned off, but in Jethro Gibbs style I turned it back on and we went down, only to find it went 1/2 way to the tracks and a 2nd elevator was needed, this elevator was not working at all. So we had to turn around and go back up the first elevator. @kirkbrunson1967 what can be done to get the ADA working at the 8th ave and 44th street station? After that experience and some very rude folks on the streets, blocking wheelchair access to a curb cutout - did not appreciate us asking them to move, and even wished Chillie to be run over by a bus! I will take NYC off my travel plans in the future. Boston is a much better place to visit and cruise from.
