I think it's awesome that your sister is doing surgery as well. My sister had Gastric Bypass last July, I am waiting for insurance approval to get my bypass done. My sister is two years younger than me, she is my biggest cheerleader!
I’m preop Surgey August 2 for RNY bypass. My assigned diet will be only protein and shakes till 75% weight loss. I’m told 1oz per meal 1 month goal, with 2-3 protein shakes, followed then goal 2 ounce 2nd month per meal. 3rd month and beyound 3-4 ounce protein with 2 shakes. I’m told no bread or grains till maintenance. I am 242 pounds with goal 140 lbs Like you videos. But I must follow my surgeon recommendation. Good luck to you on your personal journey.
thanks for the video and the response. I'm an H-3 paracycliest. I am an L-2 L-3 incomplete, so I'm wheelchair bound. my PT said the same thing, I will need to take a break from it for a little while, but not long which is going to annoy my sponsors but there just going to need to deal with it. I ride a handcycle. that's me in the page pic along with videos on my channel.
65 since May?! That’s incredible!!!! Way to go!!! I still dry heave every now and then, but I haven’t had any vertigo issues. What did your doc say about it? My guess is that it’s because you’re taking in so few calories and your body isn’t used to it. Glad you’re here!
So excited to see a video from you! You look awesome! Had my consultation this week. Already started weening myself off of Diet Coke. How soon after surgery are you allowed coffee/espresso?
You look great my sweet friend. Is your sister going to do you tube videos? Can you have her join you on yours? Great video mines on monday!(surgery) Yay!!!! Looking good!
Hello. I have been watching you video. Finally went to my physician to inquire about VSG. I guess technically this is the start of my journey. Well hello. I’m here and probably going to talking a lot. This journey seems a bit lonely Bcus there’s no one to talk to about everything. Btw thank you for sharing and for being positive. It helps a lot
Congratulations on starting the journey! It can be hard to take that first step, but you’ll never regret it. 💕 I’m happy to answer any questions you have anytime!
@@mygastricsleevejourney3944 thank you. I know I’m not here yet. But I like to think ahead. For moms going through the liquid diet Pre surgery do you have any tips Bcus obviously we still have to cook and feed the family what was that like? Was it hard?
Great advice… thanks!

I hope Iam where you are one day but as for me I wouldn’t suggest this surgery to my worst enemy.
Over the hick ups, no soda and etc etc. yes I wanted to lose weight but I hate I’m going to feel like the people that regret this years from now.
