Thanks and so happy to see this as I am looking forward to putting COAT over my newly painted wastebasket that I painted with 2.0. I took an old fashioned wood umbrella stand painted it with 2.0 but I need to seal it without creating shine/gloss. Keep up the good work.
Does this have any effect on how well LIT pigment works? I'm currently working on paintings that use black 2.0 as the base, and blending LIT with the pinkest pink/greenest green etc for the painting itself. I'd love to use this varnish on it to keep the painting as matte as possible in the black, but just want to check it won't interfere significantly with the light absorption of LIT?
When are you getting Coat back in the culturehustleusa.com store? If no time soon, can you PLEASE recomend another protective matte paint, varnish, or spray that will protect your Black 3.0 and still keep its incredible matte depth? I've tried a product form Japan, Mr. Super Clear Flat Spray... Seems the best I've found, but not as protected as other matte sealants. I keep checking every few days, for the last two months. Dying to use my 3.0 for a project, but not having much luck with a protective matte coat that doesn't take away from 3.0's effect.
hmmmm i wonder what it looks like if you paint that over a mirror or if it could work as a liquid phone protector (for glossy screens hmmmm would the touch stil work...) so many possibilities
awesome! :) Now we need also an *opposite* of this, as clear, reflective and bright varnish as possible :) Thinking about car rims, you can certainly polish them, but after a speck of salt they will look absolutely terrible and you have to put in all the effort again ...
Has anyone tried this on polymer clay? A lot of varnishes react with it and turn sticky. The golden brand varnishes don't do that for example. It would be a great product to use with it if it works, since scratch resistance is so important there.
I have ordered some of this to try on vinyl doll painting. I have a question: Does this product contain UV protection in it? If it is weather proof, I am hoping it does.
@@DavidGonzalez-cp2mn I wrote them and they said no it did not. They also changed the formula along the way and is not as matte as it was. Maybe great for models but not good for reborn dolls which was what I was interested in using it for. I find AK Ultra Matte varnish to be much better than the COAT.
Is 150 ml black 2.0 the only size you sell? I'm interested in painting my trike scooter so that it would be more stealth when I make my way to camp at night. I would also like to know if I could possibly get your permission to use your paint in a video for my TH-cam channel? I assure you that I will show up most respect for your brand and I will place a link in the description to your site for purchases.
I don’t get why he keeps saying *he* made the stuff. I think we all know he’s not a materials expert/chemistry major/science guy, so why not give credit where credit is due? Just mention that someone else actually made it (his workers) and “figured it out” (some sciencey person he hired) instead of constantly being like “I cracked the code! I’ve been working really hard on this!” Like really? Can you explain the specific things you did to work on it other than writing emails asking if it’s ready yet?
Could it be used to mattify the bean?
That one dislike is Anish Kapoor
Haha, Anus Kapooper.
@Noggin Fodder so this is why people dislike some videos for no absolute reason 💀
And both of his alts
Now it’s anish kapoor the guy who hates his hair and anish kapoor biggest fan

It would be cool to have a video comparing Black 2.0 and Raven black for us. Thanks.

i wonder about this myself, if it's not reflecting light could it actually BOOST the absorption rate?
The moment you said "coat" my universe shifted, for up until that point I kept reading "goat".
I love this!! Thank you Stuart for an incredible art accessory 💜

over a mirror would make it totally useless, on a phone screen it's make everything a tiny bit blurry.
hmmm another ting to try would be making your own milky glass ^^
awesome stuff, can you do a tutorial on using this for dnd/wargaming miniatures? especially when used for airbrushing.
awesome! :)

Can COAT be used to protect Black 3.0, and still keep that dark void appearance?
I definitely did not go straight to culture hustle and buy some...
When will this be back in stock? I didn't even see a "email me when it's back" option. Does that mean its not coming back?
Dude. I need you to get this stuff back in stock!
Does it have the same effect when airbrushed?
I'm excited to try this on my vinyl dolls. Yay!

Did you ever find out about UV protection?

Can I put it over an inkjet print of a picture?
This is amazing.
Can we use this and black 2.0 to paint a car? Can we use this and black 3.0 to paint a car? How much should we water it down for spraying?
Is it possible to buy the varnish and black 2 at greater amounts than 240mL?
I received the “ coat “ today and the bottle contains black paint instead of the white varnish in this video extremely disappointing
Oh I'm so so sorry to hear that! Please can you email us hello@culturehustleusa.com and we will get that switched straight away for you!
QUESTION: Is it flexible?
Does anyone know how this looks over Shift or Phase?
fantastic!
Can you apply this over nail varnish?
Wrong kind of varnish
I'm asking if it will mattify nail polish.

I really enjoy listening to you talk lol
