This is interesting theory. It does feel like Euron is moving to fast to wait for the aftermath, also it might undercut the pressure that Euron seems to be applying to the situation. I think maybe the scouring may be with the followers of the Lord of light and the brothers without banners - maybe a comment on what victory costs or the dangers of going to far in a total war situation...
Awakening of Dragon from stone is when Melisandre sacrafice that daughter of Stannis and resurrect John from dead. John (dragon) Targarien. Shireen (stone) because her face is half stone after greyscale.
Excellent stream Robert , the Weirwood net definitely glitched out at the end there , you were still live but the chat went blank and was disabled. Thanks for keeping up the great work for all these streams , this one absolutely flew by , nearly 2.5 hours with a very active chat, superchats and the usual patreon involvement as well. Euron is definitely a very well written super interesting villain from GRRM , which is in stark contrast to the dross disaster the show game us with EG. Definitely look forward to how Euron's arc plays out in TWoW , dragon-binder looks to be blown in the immediate future of the narrative and can not wait to see exactly what transpires from doing so , although we know EG is a 1000 steps ahead of Victarion so whatever happens it will surely work out in Euron's favor there most likely. As well as this massive impending blood sacrifice we look to be getting from Euron , definitely a dark curiosity there from many of us in the fandom to see what happens with that ; with so many types of magical and religious blood at work , kinslaying with his brother Aeron and even filicide a seemingly worse level of kinslaying with his unborn child , his child could as be construed as king's blood (if that concept actually means anything). This should have some epic results , possibly a super storm , summoning a kraken(s) or some other crazy magical event. Euron definitely seems to be after chaos and oblivion with him wanting to preside over this fallen world. It does seem EG's first choice will be using Dany for some ends although that will likely not pan out and perhaps that is when he turns to Cersei to use her for his own purposes. And there are so many possibilities with what Euron will do and is after. He could be after the Hightower and using it for some type of magical cataclysm , perhaps that is where he tries to take down the Wall from (it is said you can see the Wall from the top) as it seems to be a magical hinge site. Definitely some Bloodstone Emperor parallels which he seems to want to emulate , he may have been indoctrinated in the Church of Starry Wisdom on his travels , especially to Asshai , which could have influenced that. And he may to do some act be it from the Hightower or elsewhere to facilitate the Others in some way , perhaps with plans to lead them although that will likely not work out for him at all. Although symbolically EG could end up fulfilling a lot of what the show's NK did , especially also with Aemond symbolism as well (another Other / book's Night's King / one eye type figure) Euron could be the one who takes one of Dany's dragons (likely Viserion possibly if dragon-binder somehow works) and we get yet another epic dragon battle over the Gods Eye. In the end I do think whatever Euron is after and these crazy next level magical atrocities he is attempting will likely backfire on him in a massive way. Euron may be a facilitator for some mega evil stuff but in the end I have my doubts he is a main big baddie , it is not the Song of Ice & Krakens after all. In some ways he gives me some Icarus vibes (although an insane evil megalomaniac iteration) where the higher he seems to try to elevate himself in an evil magical way the more likely it will result in an epic collapse.
It was slightly different for me. The chat glitched first and then the stream stopped too. When I refreshed it would come back for maybe a second, and then go again. arcanics1971 hey , yeah seems the glitch manifested slightly different for everyone. For me the stream stayed live , the picture and audio was maintained of Robert reading patreon questions but the chat disappeared and could not click anything as many times as I refreshed. I also tried several devices myself with no luck. Definitely enjoying the more active engagement on the streams of late , there was a bit of a lull after the disappointment with the show but now seems that TWoW focus and anticipation is taking over again more recently. The livestreams are all great but this one absolutely flew by , Euron is certainly super interesting subject matter.
IMO the script on dragon binder will be a LOTR’s nod. No mortal man shall sound me and live. No mortal man can kill me. Well I am no man. Eowynn can because she is not a man. In the same vein I think Dany will be able to sound it and live. Also because she’s at times fireproof it will not be able to burn her insides.
Sadly TH-cam booted me about 10 minutes before the end of the stream, so I'll just thank you, Robert, and everyone in the chat for yet an other fun stream!

I think you're wrong. Euron is not suggesting he is the most "Godly man" because people pray on his arrival, i.e., your assertion that he assumes the praying has been a prophetic sign of his arrival; rather, I think he is simply saying that on his arrival, people pray to their Gods because of the horror his arrival means.
why does everyone assume Euron has a suit of VAlerian steel armor...? The Damphair sees him wearing it in his Shade of the Evening vision which is clearly a hallucination....am i missing something...? theres alot of tings people see in Shade of the Evening hallucinations none of them are seen as concrete facts like that suit of armor seems to be for everyone,...
Great livestream. Euron is definately enigmatic and certainly has a connection to Bloodraven. On a side note I have been reading a lot of greek mythology lately and I saw a tentative connection between Euron and Arya. The mythos goes thus regarding Odysseus and the Cyclops Polyphemous (Euron has one eye and his banner is of a single eye) and Odysseus (Arya) . Once Odysseus and his crew came upon the island of the cyclops. Polyphemus denies them guedt right and chows two of Odysseus's men. When Odysseus escapes he gets the cyclops drunk and drives a red hot poker into the cyclops's eye. Blinding him. The cyclops wails and asks who did this to him and Odysseus tells him " no one". When the other cyclops hear Polyphemus they ask him to tell them who hurt him and he is forced to say "no one" and Odysseus later escapes. I don't know how Arya and Eurons path could cross but I bet LML might have an idea. Also we have all been assuming a kraken will be involved with Euron butit could also be some version of the greek myths of Scylla and charybdis (sp?) that he summons. Also I would love it if the bronze Titan of Braavos was animated by Eurons magical abilities. (In myth Talos was a bronze giant made by the cyclops) and whose life force was drained by Jason and Medea which made me think of how Syrio explains death to Arya in that the wayer leaks out of someone....
Daenerys with her seeming immunity to fire and 3 dragons would seem godlike, Lady Stoneheart might seem godlike, Melisandre being so long-lived and having so much magic seems godlike, so Euron could equally be godlike.
I'd enjoy a big red herring type plot where euron actually spawns a massive army where he possibly binds dany herself with dragon binder, all 3 dragons, summons krakens and the deep ones. He feels slighted by the others, he wants to bring thr apocalypse so he actually wipes out 90% of them out of hatred. Then the others and Jon the dragon have to join forces to defeat euron and a potential peace is made in the aftermath with Jon marrying an other etc etc
I like the idea Euron was telling the truth about throwing the dragon egg overboard. This theory comes from the idea of who would The Faceless Man would want the payment to go. I can see them was tong the payment to go to the God of death and not them. They the price but you pay it to the God of Death not them. The scene would play out so weird he would think they were mad asking for a dragon egg only to have it thrown into the ocean. To quote Joker from The Dark Knight "It's not about the money it's about sending a message."
The thing that doesn’t make sense to me with your all for chaos analysis is this: Euron, according to you has had the patience and foresight to coordinate 2 battles halfway across the earth. How can a man who has something this well planned with spies everywhere and clearly years of groundwork not have an intended outcome beyond chaos for what is about to happen. I personally think warging has a much bigger role to play than we have been led to believe. I think that the theory he can warg into the crew of silence makes a lot of sense as well as warging into a dusky woman. First men houses usually have a digit of the animal they bond best with while warging. I think summoning the krakens warging then under control with the help of blood magic while also taking control of a dragon makes a lot more sense than just kill everyone with no endgame. Aeron’s vision of tentacly euron is also very interesting for a kraken king. After that I do like the idea of Cersei and euron getting together, but I think that Cersei riding eurons dragon fits more with his speech from the kings moot while he controls it and possibly her. The idea that everyone without a tongue is a warged minion of euron feels very likely to me, even the ones he is torturing. He does not seem like someone who wouldn’t want to die and rise again stronger and more powerful with every warged death.
Interesting idea re dragonglass in his eye. What if he plucked out his own eye and replaced it with dragonglass? Would be a blood sacrifice and please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't one of Tyrion's clansmen, possibly timmett pluck out his own eye?
I think I like the videos where he knows what he's talking about beforehand. As opposed to this where he is making it up as he goes along. That isn't to say that he doesn't know the subject matter. But the way it's presented - scripted or ad lib - makes a difference.
For sure, but those videos have been made already and don't cover much that isn't completely set in stone - with these ones you get off topic and wild tidbits
Always appreciate the work you put into your videos, thank you! But I don't really see why Euron would be killed by Jaime in the books. True, there's a possibility that *anyone* could kill him. But Jaime has already faced the thought of Cersei being killed and didn't rush to save her or get agitated by the thought (his 1st chapter in ADWD says that he "didn't doubt her need for him" to save her was real), so why would he be desperate to kill Euron? Besides, by looking at Jaime's weirwood dream, Jaime will die due to circumstances surrounding his guilt over what he didn't do for Rhaegar's kids. I don't see why Euron would waste time with a fight against a man he cares nothing about when his ambitions are so much bigger than a sword fight. I think the fight in the show came from D&D's- or one of the other show writers- imaginations, cause they altered Euron's and Jaime's characters. Jaime was stripped of all his agency in the show and made Cersei's puppet- in the books, I agree with you in thinking he'll be the Valonquar. Sure, Jaime wouldn't be happy if Euron banded together with Cersei as a "Night's Queen" of sorts, out to destroy the world, but neither would anyone else. But as I said, I think Euron could be killed by almost anyone, I just don't see it necessarily being Jaime
There is no good evidence to support any connection between bllod raven and euron, just two sentences and wild speculation. I think we go way too far in this community with placing importance in every little things GRRM writes....its more likely that euron's statement reminds us of bloodraven because both characters are written by the same man and he has a finite set of ideas.....i used to tutor at the writing center during undergrad and everbody has certain patterns to their writing
Euron and Cercei's relationship in the show was shallow and was not satisfying to me in any way. I hope (and have faith) that the book version will be much more interesting.
I think George RR Martin has possibly taken inspiration from some rl tribal cultures who use psychedelic plants for many things, like learning magic and things. There it's said that pretty every single one of these plants do have their own agenda or will (some good, some bad), so I'd actually be surprised if the Shade of the Evening trees *didn't* have one too. In conclusion, I think the Shade of the Evening does at least have an agenda that works subtly. Maybe with abuse of the substance it possesses the user and makes them believe they can reach immortality in one way or another, probably through really bad stuff. Maybe the Undying are a manifestation of that, or they have been possessed by that plant so much that they became the manifestation of that spirit. That's how it works in these types of legends irl too, you become more and more like the plant spirit you consume and exchange with. Maybe the vision that Dany has about the woman with the disgusting creatures doing stuff to her is what happens if Cersei aligns herself with Euron, someone who will become more and more like the Shade's innate spirits. I think it's entirely possible that there are also some dead meanies living in the trees, like the dead Children of the Forest live in the Weirwood network. One reason why I think GRRM might have taken inspiration from those rl ideas is because many OG hippies believe in this, and even though George himself isn't the most mythical person regarding rl, he at least might have come into contact with the idea. If that's actually the case he certainly has put his own twist on the idea because in ASOIAF there are physical (or ex-physical) beings behind the Weirwood network, while in the rl legends the plants themselves have their own will.
That's kinda tinfoily, but one part of Euron could be inspired by the types of trippy hippies who jug down all sorts of psychedelics and believe everything they see, and without a spiritual guardian they lose control of what's somewhat realistic. He's of course extremely pro-active and evil, but that's just taking these traits to the extreme.
Maybe Euron is going to cause an apocalypse and wake The Great Other. And Sam is going to fix his horn and blow it(not knowing that it's the horn of Joramun)and wake the vengeful spirits of the Starks(once he's back at the wall) and die(it may also be someone else other than Sam).
No, no! Euron's both eye work just fine, he use eye patch just like old sailors and pirates before. When you need to go under deck on day light u cant see anything. thats way he use eye patch, when u go under deck you swich patch to other eye and you can sen again and fight whitout going blind for while. 👌

I get the feeling that Euron will be the one that brings about the "scouring of the Shire" bit near the end of the story.

wholesome host, wholesome audiance, glad I stumbled upon this channel

I've been hooked on your channel for months now but I'm finally going backwards in the catalogue. Excellent, excellent content.

Victarian is my guy. Big, stupid and brutal. Going to need him around to kill Euron before he unleashes Cthulhu, Azathoth and Nyarlathotep.
Zombie Tommen is coming! thanks Qyburn...
IDG!!!
If Ja’Qen went back to Bravos, do you think they gave him a new coin since he gave his to Arya to try to recruit her?
What if targaryens and like were originally bred to be fire/heat resistant miners in volcano mines? Just my crazy thoughts again
That's pretty crazy, but also pretty interesting!
Weren't all Valyrians heat resistant. Your theory is interesting, but l don't think it's true.
@@soy.sauce.latte. I think he means Valyrians by "Targaryens and the like".
Euron and Cercei's relationship in the show was shallow and was not satisfying to me in any way. I hope (and have faith) that the book version will be much more interesting.
Shallow and not satisfying......otherwise known as post S4/S5 Game of thrones
Do you think you or Lena heady pronounces their t’s more emphatically?
Kinda wanna get to the bespoke level of patreon
is his arnor real valyrian steel
Maybe Euron is going to cause an apocalypse and wake The Great Other. And Sam is going to fix his horn and blow it(not knowing that it's the horn of Joramun)and wake the vengeful spirits of the Starks(once he's back at the wall) and die(it may also be someone else other than Sam).
Euron is defo valonqar
No, no! Euron's both eye work just fine, he use eye patch just like old sailors and pirates before. When you need to go under deck on day light u cant see anything. thats way he use eye patch, when u go under deck you swich patch to other eye and you can sen again and fight whitout going blind for while. 👌
No where in books anyone dont say that his eye doesnt work!
👍🏼
Belwas vs victarion.
What was that with YT?
