I didn't know anything about booster gold prior to this fight, but since this one, everything I've seen and read about him makes me love him more and more.
Dude, same! Booster Gold just has so much growth and charisma to him that I can’t help but love him.
Here is a little more Knowledge for you. You know that time machine booster stole? Well it belonged to his son Rip Hunter. So the Time Machine was created in the future and lost in the past. And Booster's feats as a time repairing superhero inspired his son to create the "Time Bureau" a time policing force.
Which also formed the inspiration for Marvel's "Time Variance Authority"
he named doomsday, and he accidentally inspired the sinestro corps.

Teleporting is not a speed in itself, but an ability. If you can teleport, how fast you move while teleporting and how fast you activate that ability are entirely separate things. Outrunning someone that teleports, however, is indeed a super impressive feat of speed that will be relevant to a really exciting future episode
Booster Gold's first TV appearance was in "Justice League Unlimited" from 2004.
He also appeared in "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" from 2008
And those are the only show with Booster Gold that i watched.
I remember he was on an episode of Smallville as well. But my favorite appearance was the Justice League Unlimited one.
The episode is called “The Greatest Stiry Never Told.” Fun fact the episode was originally written as a FireStorm origin story.
Facets of that script are in the episode. Mostly a scientist with a chest device going very wrong.
A lot of people want Cable to fight Trunks and from that description you can probably see why.
Gotta say, "you hit like a girl" being used as an insult from Cable seems odd considering his mother is one of the most powerful beings in the world.

Booster Gold , despite being a bit self-centered and a fame seeker, he's genuenly one of the most selfless heroes in DC's lineup
Also, him surviving Trigon's physical form alone probably puts him above Cable in durability, since Trigon is basically DC's Satan and is on the level , if not above, beings like Darkseid
I'd say you really dont have to skip Obiwan death battle, most of the feats come from comics, and the books since the movies are more about his character and not his feats.

That's one of my personal favorite DB's since it sparked a lot of conversations with my friends about powerscaling. Good times.
Unless he's well cultured in prequel memes he'll probably be confused about a lot of the jokes in the analysis for Obi Wan.

I not only found out Booster Gold existed because of this episode, but I also fell in love with him because of it. His personality is so dorky yet lovable, and his gear load out reflects my personal taste in combat.
The two main things I go for are strategy to outsmart people, and good old fashioned “not dying”. Booster’s force field and Flash level speed definitely make him one of the best in that second field.
Also, don’t worry about Beerus vs Galaxia. Other people’s reactions to it are still up, but if you don’t feel comfortable just yet, you can hold off on it and come back later. Especially since I KNOW you will love the next two fights that come after it.

The live action scenes from the Booster Gold intro were from Smallville. There was an episode where he came and stole some of Clark's saves, but because he did it in different ways, he started changing the past. Ended up having to deal with new threats he didn't have advanced knowledge of. Didn't go great for him.

yeah~ i think a lot of people remember Booster Gold in mainly the animated shows like Justice League Unlimited and Batman: Brave and the Bold (underrated show by the way).
Booster gold has not had his own movie or tv show. that live action was an episode of "Smallville" (the tv series that told Clark Kent's jounrey to become Superman". But there have been reports theyve been working on a Booster Gold movie for quite some time

I think Beerus vs Galaxia was blocked because of something with the thumbnails art or something. So it should still be okay if I'm not mistaken. And Obi Wan vs Kakashi one of the top 3 of the season so I'd recommend watching it.

Yeah... DC Comics, where even the spoof characters are massively OP. I've heard it said that in DC they're heroes pretending to be people, while in Marvel they're people pretending to be heroes. In DC you have the all-powerful alien from a destroyed world, an Amazon demigoddess from an invisible island, and a corporate heir fanatically hellbent on terrorizing and fighting criminals dressed as a bat. In Marvel, you have a guy from Depression-era Brooklyn who took a super serum, an alien whose advanced tech had him and his people seen as gods by the old Vikings, and a corporate heir who's an alcoholic playboy when he isn't tinkering around with advanced tech and creating varied suits of power armor.
Funny thing is, that both Obi-Wan vs Kakashi and Ganondorf vs Dracula (another battle u skipped) are animated by DevilArtemis.
Obi-Wan vs Kakashi is really good. Don't skip it.
Man, that Booster Gold episode of Justice League Action where Batman, who originally scoffed at and berated him for his attitude and showboating, finds out what he's been doing behind the scenes. I remember it fondly.

in the 2000s (or late 90s) they changed his character where he had a change of heart. He became the hero the world needed him to be. still the best hero you never heard of. he and fellow time traveler rip hunter go around in a time machine to undo changes in the timeline. one issue someone went back in time to kill superman's great grandfather. so his dad wasnt born....as a result the luthors found superman when he landed on earth....so him and lex were brothers before lex killed him when he discovered he was superman (lost his trust) so booster and rip had to go to wild west and prevent the killing

Yep, this is one of my favourite Marvel Vs DC match ups they've done, along with "Ghost Rider Vs Lobo" and "Winter Soldier Vs Redhood". I enjoy the episode a great deal since it's one of those fights with an unexpected winner, and it introduced me to a very fun and underrated character in Booster Gold.
Neither of these characters are a favorite is mine, so I'm happy with it.

To be fair dude, I only knew about Booster Gold from Justice League Unlimited and Batman Brave and Bold. And the JLU episode arguabky dies get the idea of his kind of story: the best heroics are the ones that get no attention.
It's like Krillin or even mr Satan in their setting where both of them are basically comedic relief characters or sidekick material at best. But within their setting they remain some of the strongest humans (not counting half-aliens etc) in the story and would in fact be able to kick some rather righteous ass if put in a less anime tier universe.

This match was sort of in response to the whole Ben 10/Green Lantern debacle. Notice how they explained Booster Gold winning compared to how they explained Green Lantern winning: it's ultimately for similar reasons, but it's more clearly stated in this battle. I doubt that being this clear would've stymied the response to a massive degree (fans gonna fan), but it at least could've given more people pause.

With the movies and comic characters, they tend to be much weaker and it's rare they are represented like hoe they are in comics. Like the MCU characters are based off the Ultimate series which was a more down to Earth depiction of the characters. I guess a good example would be Thanos, comic Thanos would easily beat the MCU version with almost 0 effort. But in the comic version of that story, he was destroying galaxies just by yelling. So making a movie about that version the Avengers would have absolutely no chance and you would have to add in a bunch of weird esoteric characters that are hard to explain to make it work.

Okay I know this doesn't have anything to do with the episode but I feel like I want to say this. If you are skipping the Obi Wan vs Kakashi death battle, then I assume you are planning on watching Star Wars at some point. Please do not go in numerical order if this is true oh, the best way to view Star Wars and become a fan in my opinion is watching them in release order. 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 7, Rouge One, 8, Solo, and finally 9 to fish it off. It fits better for certain reveals, you won't be thrown off by the shift in the past having seemingly better tech, and I just feel if people start at the beginning of the story then they won't become Star Wars fans due to the prequels being a little rough. And while Solo and 9 are the worst movies and it would suck to end on them, they should still be viewed as it's still Star Wars. Rant over. I just felt like it needed to be said before I miss the chance

The problem is, DC just plays harder. For the most part Marvel is about hope and all that, while DC is simply grimdark for the sake of being dark. Not to mention, DC in an attempt to out do Marvel, always does Marvel +3 in terms of power scale.
