DISCLAIMER: Please refrain from making uneducated assumptions about an individual's diagnosis. You are allowed to express concern of whether you believe someone is faking or not, however, please refrain from leaving harmful comments regarding them. Autism is a spectrum. Everyone is different and exhibits different traits. You may or may not relate to these individuals and that is fine but do not assume that because you have traits that differ from them, they are not autistic! If an individual is proven to be faking or they have a negative reputation in the community, please feel free to respond to this post or private message me on my socials!
Also for clarification: Autism as well as any other neurodiversities represented in these videos are on a spectrum! Everyone is different! Do not use these videos as a means of diagnosing yourself or even questioning your diagnosis! Everyone will have different experiences and struggles! You are perfect the way you are and do not define yourself because a lot of autistic individuals don't like a food but you do, or you like wearing socks compared to those who don't! Be yourself and accept that we are all different!
@@brandswortheastmanI am kindly asking that you are respectful and do not make assumptions based on a video compilation.
Last one: what kind of sorcery is this? Now I want one :)
For the love of all that is bubbly and sparkly, someone ANSWER THIS!!!!!😭
I don't know, but I'm calling it magic bubble. Magic bubble is now my friend.
To quote Neo from the Matrix: “W H O A .”
I need magic bubble
Couple different names. Magic bubble wand, rainbow twirler stick.
"Being high functioning just means I suck at being myself "
Uhck, that nailed it
Okay since my special interest is Frogs here are some facts I like.
1. There is no exact life span of frogs but, ones who were given captivity or hospitality lasted to about 20 years
2. The world's largest frog is the goliath frog of West Africa, and it can grow to 15 inches and weigh up to 7 pounds.
3. Toads are frogs but all frogs aren’t toads, a toad is a frog that has a skin texture between watery and dry and toads legs are shorter.
4. One of the smallest frogs is the Cuban tree toad, which grows to half an inch long.
5. There are over 6,000 species of frogs.
6. Frogs have amazing night vision.
7. Frogs are very sensitive to movement.
8. When a frog swallows food, it pulls its eyes down into the roof of its mouth, to help push the food down its throat.
9. When frogs hibernate, they dig burrows in the ground or mud and hibernate until spring.
10. Poisonous frogs are brightly colored to warn predators, while the Fort Randolph robber frog has very colorful skin even though their skin is not toxic. They do this to intimidate predators.
That’s all baiii
(P.s nice vid❤)

On the interoception one. If I'm doing something when I realise that I need to pee really bad my brain will automatically erase that thought so I don't have to stop what I'm doing. Like, I don't know why it does that, I end up with bad cramps on my bladder. 😢
I DO THE SAME THING ITS SO ANNOYING
Hyperfocus
Me too
Exactly!! Its super annoying, when that happens, which is almost all the time for me... 😅
Omg me too
Recently diagnosed at age 56 here. I learn stuff about myself with every single one of these TikTok compilations. So much in this one. Reading books about ASD and talking to my mental health professionals, I understand nothing. You all, I get right out of the box. Thank you. You all help me so much. ❤
sorry I had to look up Plankton singing Diamonds real quick and it was the highlight of my day
I need to know how the little rainbow sploopy thing works and then I need to get one lol.
Sorry for the made up word I just can't think of how else to describe it
Don't you dare apologize for such a marvelous creation. I am adding sploopy to my personal vocabulary and you're right it is indeed very sploopy

0:48 This is EXACTLY how I reacted lmao. I never liked her, I guess cuz I knew something wasn't right but I didn't know what. I just assumed that I found her annoying.
I typed in "bouncy ribbon bubble toy" and Google 100% understood the assignment 😂❤
Listening to the interoception bit and a bunch of my life childhood really started to make sense 😂
(Gender Dysphoria alerted the heightened “something is wrong” in my body, but low accuracy made it really difficult to know why I felt like something was wrong. And because I couldn’t identify the issue exactly I never looked for help)
This is probably my FAVORITE autism comp yet 💕💕💕

What's even better is that the music playing at 4:50 is by the Talking Heads, whose frontman, David Byre is autistic!
Do you know the name of the song?
it’s called this must be the place, or naïve melody! it’s from talking heads’ 1983 album speaking in tongues. it’s a great album - you should check it out! the live version from stop making sense (their live album/concert film) is also amazing. @@Tytan626

1:20 If any parent gave me autism, It was my dad. He's very neurodivergent and i can only understand when he gives me directions, not my mom
*i dont mean really neurodivergent i just mean he IS neurodivergent and i relate to him more for a parent
I have made a realisation while watching this comp. I'm an opossum. I absolutely love climbing, and can climb just about anything, I love hanging upside down and just dangling there, I'm pretty much nocturnal (night ow mixed with insomnia.) And I can even see in the dark. (Aka I have enhanced vision in the dark due to light sensitivity combined with very light colored eyes.) And to top it all off, when i get stressed or overwhelmed, like when my brother grabs on to my arm or leg and won't let go no matter how much i ask, I smile. I'm not kidding, I smile when I'm stressed. I am just an autistic possum, buried in blankets and looking for a leftover bagel to eat.
Infodump about wolves cause I saw someone do it and feel comfortable about doing it as well :)
1. Wolf packs are actually just families. A male or female wolf leaves the pack, finds a mate, has a litter with them and BAM new wolf pack
2. On the subject of packs, the largest one was found in 2011 in Russia near a town named Verhoyansk and consisted of 400 wolves
3. Do wolves really howl at the moon? We have no idea. No studies really gave us any answers, but it's most likely not true. Wolves use howling to communicate and mainly do so at dusk when they return from a hunt, which is why the myth sprouted
4. The study of roles in wolf packs we know and still use like alpha, omega etc. is wrong. Like I wrote, packs are most of the time just families of wolves. The mother, the father, one to four kids and that's it. Offsprings follow and learn from their parents who automatically get the leading role because they're wiser and more skilled. The pair also doesn't fight for dominance. They work together
5. Wolves have a shit ton of stamina. In one day, they're able to travel 400 km, or 200 miles if you use inperial system, though only if it's a one day thing. After that, they do have to rest. They're not all-powerful. But still, holy shit
6. Wolves can be found on every continent, but a wolf evolved to survive in Africa won't be similar to a wolf evolved to survive in Asia. The only thing same about then would be DNA and a few body similarities, actually
7. Wolves are playful fellas and if they aren't hungry, they often play with smaller preys like mice. Sometimes, they even let it go if they just wanted to play
I actually don't really know that much about them, I got all that from a presentation I had to do for school. But they have my heart since forever, I just don't show it by being a nerd :D
Thank you for making this compilation, I loved it so much!!
Definitely will!
4:19 I started crying at this part because I never knew why I would get really sad or bothered with everything at random times, but it’s cause of interception and nerves and WOW.
Anyway, I’m gonna go cry in I need to get diagnosed IMMEDIATELY
4:43 My reaction was LITERALLY: 😧 Shocketh! I am goddamn mesmerised
To all wondering how to find the fidget/stim toy at the end of the video google: rainbow iridescent ribbon twirler
Actually use the term spinner instead of twirler seems to get you to more results
0:09 the fact that this is litteraly my parents lmfao
istg my dad def seems to have autism or ocd, he really doesn't like when things dont go his way and can be quite emotional which can end up with him being aggresive
silliest parts are when me and him are working on smtn like a lil school project and he casually does 90% of the thinng for me, making it hard for me to get my own take. kinda relatable, its not uncommon to find me being overly touchy and eaget to do things i wanna do, not realizing soon enough that im being too physically invasive (like grabbing things someone else is already taking)
1:19 I relate to this so hard! It feels like it takes muscles I don't have and insane amounts of energy to emote like a neurotypical person and I have no idea how they do it. Thankfully some of them will believe me when I say I'm just tired or not feeling well if it's a day I don't have the energy to mask, but it's still baffling on a good day that most people can just emote like crazy!
BRO MY MOM AND DAD ARE THE SAME (dad hates being late; mom has time blindness and overall shows signs of ADHD). I'm honestly curious if my dad has autism and my mom has ADHD; they both share respective traits, however, the only thing I've seen my dad doing related to stimming is wiggling his foot. He doesn't seem to have sensory issues like I do but it wouldn't surprise me if he's somewhere on the spectrum, because I had to get it from somewhere and if my mom has ADHD, it would also make more sense as to why I'm neurodivergent
5:20 I need this I want this I MUST HAVE IT HELP
2:57 I’m legally blind and people have called me “high functioning” I absolutely hate the term, so in a song I wrote for my disability I literally said that that stereotype should just be nonexistent 😅
1:53 my old schoolmate told me she has autism before she moved away.
my brain is very good at reading signals from my body but like. exclusively the emotional part of my brain. If I randomly feel crushing despair I know its because Im Just Hungy and emotions brain is shouting very loud to get me to notice
Idk why but the “for my autistic audience“ video made me so happy!!!
Since this is an autism channel would you consider editing the volume of these videos so they don't jump up/down in volume suddenly? This would be of great benefit to autistic people with auditory sensory issues.
It hurt me when the rainbow bubble wand thingy broke 😭
4:44 omg i need that. it's like those collapsing metal rings that people can stick their arms through yeah?? i love those things but god do i hate feeling that cold metal running up and down my arms. what is that in the video i need one.
Yess SoundOfTheForest!
2:05 What the actual fu-??¿!!!???
0:10 HOW DO YOU KNOW MY PARENTS??? 😅😅😂
1:19
As a child the only way I knew how people felt was by their face and tone of voice. I still do this and it causes lots of problems for me.
4:43 Give me the magic bubble slinky!
something i dont see get talked about enough is that, im sitting or laying somewhere comfortably, not really paying attention to the position im assuming and im comfortable like that and dont really want to move from that position, but when something or someone, for example, a person comes to lay or sit with me, and they like, put their legs onto mine or anyother position where i shouldnt move because they are now ontop or next to me, i feel the need to move because i feel "caged" as in i shouldnt move but now that i know that i shouldnt move, i want to move even if that position is comfortable but it no longer is because now it feels like an 'have to'. Or when im comfortable in a position but suddendly become self aware of the position and want to change it because im self aware and now uncomfortable.
Regarding interoception, does anyone else struggle with feeling hungry? Like I just don't feel it? Sometimes the only way I know I need to eat is from feeling light-headed or insatiably thirsty.
Sometimes I go 1-2 days without a full meal (I don't wanna count snacks) because in my mind "if I don't FEEL hungry, I don't need to eat". I'm trying to work on healthy eating, and eating more fruit, but it's weirdly hard because I just often don't feel like eating.
HELP THE FRIENDS ONE.
I always knew I was phoebe coded but this just confirms it
I FOUND THE TOY AT 4:43 AND I CAN'T STOP PLAYING WITH IT, I'M OBSESSED AND IT TICKLES MY TISM SO MUCH 😍😍😍
Being high functioning for me means I can mask. But I can't mask well.
That last one, what the actual heck is that thing I have to have it !! it's so absolutely enthralling!! And satisfying 🎉
5:03
THING!!!!
I NEED THING
4:46 oh my god what are these called and where can I get them
Google: rainbow iridescent ribbon spinner
I found a bunch of links to them that way.
Me: oh I'm not autistic I make facial expressions
Me finally figures out how to unmask*
My mom: someone I know rear ended a bus, she died on impact and everyone else in the car is in critical condition.
Me: oh 😐 *actually incredibly shocked*
3:21 i can tell when my heart is beating faster than normal or if im hungry but i cannot tell when im thirsty (and as someone who spends a lot of time outside in the sun this is not good) is there any way to like, make that easier??
I use an app called Waterllama to remind me that I need to drink
wait do other people NOT feel their heartbeats like this? i have been on blood pressure meds most of my life. i can always *feel* when i'm running a few minutes behind on taking them. i can feel when my heart rate is higher too. i thought everyone felt like that? huh! learn something new every day
The last one I was really thinking
"magical wand of joy and happiness😄 yippppeeeee"
3:59 this is why i go to murse so commonly
it def makes dealing with physical issues hard
i mean god i used to think weird feelings in my chest center was smtn with heart but NOPE, my stomach gets irritated sometimes and it feels rlly weird
What is that magic wand thing
0:58 basally me and my Bestie on the swings be like at recess:
sensory sock walk 😭
My friend called everyone with autism (idk if he meant every disorder or noooot)
Situation = we were talking about autism a lil bit
Then I mentioned that idk if I have autism or not (bc I havnt been diagnosed)
Then he was like
“YOUR NOT AUTISTIC! YOUR NORMAL! YOUR SMART!”
I was extremely p/ssed.he basically just called a lot of people stupid…. I’m sooo annoyed.
Wearing a mask even after people stopped wearing them with covid helps with reducing how much I have to exaggerate expressions for others. Also makes that part of my mask difficult to maintain but I don't enjoy masking that way anyways so I'm cool with continuing to wear a mask with the added bonus of not getting the seasonal cold 😂
I can't sleep tonight because I'm travelling early and if I don't have enough time to do things I won't want to go and -
Anyway: I'm leaping out of my comfort zone and asking someone to stay up with me... Who's in another timezone so they don't have to suffer with me...
Wish me luck. I'm stressed and tired and about to make it 7 times worse
Still awake?
I don't know what flavor of neurodivergent I am but I'm pretty sure I'm at least one of them lol
Interoception reminds me of the time I when I felt something was wrong with me and drunk water and realized I haven’t drunk water all day.
For the last one i legit pogged
for me as an autistic individual, I feel offended when someone calls me "high-functioning" autism, like I barely function as it is, so why are we adding the "high" in it?
and, when someone says that my autism is "mild", I always think of it as a Mexican takeout shop, like why and how am i mild? why cant i be medium or spicy?
The guy whose parents were arguing if he would be a Dr. Or lawyer dancing...the funniest thing I've seen!!! Love it!!! So me!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That marker thing that expands gives me anxiety and nausea. Anyone else? 2:06

I hung out with some friends all day and one of them stopped me and said “Deb, we’ve been hanging out for several hours and you haven’t peed one. PLEASE GO TO THE BATHROOM I’M SCARED FOR YOU” 😂
4:45 I HAVE THAT THINGY!! the instant i saw this i ran to get mine and stimmed along it was so fun >
Sadly for the first spider man one I did that exactly word for word on accident on a TH-cam Disney world live stream
4:44 “for my autistic audience” *spins shiny thing*

5:08 I saw one of these at the store, but it didn't have a price tag so I couldn't buy it and they threw it away! at least I had a good 30 seconds of staring at it though
Seeing that giant puzzle makes me want a giant puzzle so bad
Plankton singing I need to hear more NOW ( yes I am Autistic)
Okay,... I am autistic so I enjoyed that device you spun for us autistic people to watch. But maybe it's the ADHD part of me, but as soon as I saw how and why it worked, I soon became bored and lost interest then wanted more stimulation from something else.
4:45 funny theres talking heads and one of my special insterests is decades and music and I'm on A huge 80s kick for the summer and from what I heard I think the lead singer of talking heads David Byrne is autistic
I have a problem with the idea of "You see us as high functioning, but we are not; high functioning doesn’t exist"
It's the same logic as "There’s a lot of things called berries that aren't berries, therefore berries don't exist"
But berries do exist, just not where we look for them, and the same is likely true for actuallt high functioning autistics.
i think this problem is it's hard to identify what high functioning looks like. i saw a woman describe it as this. she goes to work. she's successful. she holds her job down well and is social at the office. but when she comes home, she can barely feed herself. she has no energy to cook. she cries and has a meltdown. she can't keep up with the housework. but to everyone in her life, she's "high functioning." she's praised for being "high functioning" and when she has asked for help in the past, she'd told "oh you don't really need help, you're managing just fine!" it's hard to pin-point because yeah someone might look high functioning, but that's simply based on outwards things.
What you are describing is high masking, but high functioning, as in low support needs, is totally a thing
5:10 can't figure out if the thing on his middle finger is another stim toy or a budget ace ring
2:04 that makes me want to scrape my eyes out.
i want the rubber green pen thing right now
ALL OF MY EMOTIONS ARE BIG AND LOUD ALSO I JUST ATE MY FAVORITE FLAVOR OF DUM DUM WHATS YOUR FAVORITE FLAVOR

3:33 so this explains a lot
3:42 nah that makes sense now. Im not autistic, but yeah
