You know, JoJo has a way of making the defeat of the villains really satisfying. Dio is killed my his own power, utterly helpless, Kira Is literally dragged into hell thanks to his original victim, Diavalo re-experiences death for eternity. It really feels makes the endings great.
I think Dio and Kira have it better than the others. They get to go to hell, and that sucks, sure, but given how Hells of most religions work they have the chance to reflect upon themselves and maybe be reborn again(?), but for Kars and Diavolo they never truly die thus never going to any afterlife and getting the same options as Dio and Kira. big oof

This whole encounter is why I love Jojo's, why I love how Araki writes conflicts. You have the engagement, the two parties coming together. The reason for the conflict is often given at this point. The Mystery, what does the other person have up their sleeve. The rules of engagement coming apart slowly. This is usually when a stand's powers are show cased, often to a very confusing scene. The conflict, in this case it's Reimi trying to trick Kira, and Kira realizing this. A stand's power is then deconstructed. The twist, Reimi was ahead of him the whole time. The stand power is countered, outsmarted, or someone flat out brute forces their way through the battle. Each one of Jojo's stand battles are written like this, and why they're so much fun to watch.

One line I wished they'd kept in is that Kira said something along the lines of planning on staying there in the afterlife after getting rid of Reimi where he would have a place of eternal peace to himself, exactly what he was looking for. It just makes the line where Reimi retorts with "I'm sure it's somewhere you won't be able to rest in peace" a bit better in my opinion.

There is actually a oneshot about what happened to Kira. It's called "Dead man's questions" I think. He didn't go to hell, but he became a ghost without any memories left except for the very strong feeling that he was a person that deserves to go to hell, so he refuses to go to the afterlife and tries to somehow keep on living a normal life as a ghost.
That's why Kars didn't die, he was only transformed into a rock floating around in space for all of eternity. Of course, one could say that that's even worse, but what do I know?

正直ミキタカについては曖昧ですし、断言は出来ないです……。
スタンド名として表記はされているものの、本人は仗助のクレイジーダイヤモンドを視認できず、また『纏う形』でも『そばに現れ立つ』訳でも『自律している形』でも、ましてや『遠隔操作型』でもない。
『本人が全く違う物質に変化する』という、作中で説明されている『スタンド』という能力とは明らかに逸脱した性質を持っているので、個人的な解釈としては
「作者の荒木先生が、スタンドとは全く異なる能力を、読者が分かりやすいようにスタンドのパラメータを基準にして名付けた」
というのを推してます。
実際『ジョジョの奇妙な冒険シリーズ』には『人間ではない生物が異能力を使う』という描写の前例が、第一部と第二部にあります(6部の赤ちゃんはスタンドとして分類させてもらうとして)。
なので、私としてはミキタカは普通に宇宙人だと思ってます。

Now, this obviously contradicts DiU Kira's desire for a quiet life, since he has to acknowledge somebody's superiority other than his own. Also, DMQ Kira only remembers his name and his desire for a quiet life

He didn't go to hell, but he became a ghost without any memories left except for the very strong feeling that he was a person that deserves to go to hell, so he refuses to go to the afterlife and tries to somehow keep on living a normal life as a ghost.
