👨🎓 A short story - The carpet was left in a shed for years along with other things brought from Germany. There were also other carpets, unfortunately already damaged, but this one could be easily washed so that it could still be used by someone.
👍 Upon first inspection, I found that the carpet was not very dirty, but further washing revealed the dirt loosening and the colors coming to the surface. After washing, the carpet looks much better and the high-quality material from which it is made means that the carpet will last for many years. I estimate the age of the carpet to be about 40 to 50 years.

The dog is saying, "Hey, that's one of my spots you're taking." 0:24 interesting sound when unrolling. Do you have just the one watering can or do you have more? 2:13 yellowish brown dirt on the edges of the rug heading for the drain. 7:03 Is it just a repeat of the first scrub or do you make a change for the second scrub? How often does the brush have to be changed/cleaned? 9:32 showing off for the audience how he can lift this with one finger. :) 9:55 Looking nice already. 19:30 nice and foamy. 19:59 those foamy splashes are certainly different sounding. 32:16 another perfect catch. 34:36 you brought back the floor sheepie. Noticed in the previous video you went to ding it, but it wasn't there. LOL Great job as always.

As I understand it, the terrible 1920's Germany where paper money was effectivey worthless, investments in carpets/rugs were made. Expensive rugs bought for a song could represent real value. I wonder if that rug was one such?

Jakub, do you get many rugs with poly backing? I have not seen that on your channel before. It appears water does not flow through - probably a great choice for a dog rug! 😅
Since water cannot pass through the backing of the rug, would it be better to put it into the extractor with the pile facing outward? It seems that might allow more water to be extracted.
The pile in this carpet is polyamide, and water passes through it. But thank you for your tips 💪💪💪

Do you have trouble with the dyes coming out? Can you tell if there will be a problem before you start cleaning?

I think having a carpet used to be very popular, but then it became unfashionable 😕.
People hid their carpets or got rid of them.

Cześć, Oglądam też czasem podobne filmiki z Turcji (przepraszam) tamci najpierw zaczynają prać dywan na lewą stronę, wypłukując wtłaczając wodę pod spód. Chyba szybciej ten główny bród wypłukują.
To zależy czy brud jest stary, robiłem nieraz próby po wcześniejszym wytrzepaniu dywanu i nic to nie daje ponieważ brud musi najpierw oddzielić sie od włókien jak w pralce i tu potrzebny jest czas, chyba że ktoś by to tam wsypał lub wtarł celowo i jest luźne. Pokazuję na wielu filmach ile piasku i kurzu jest w dywanie przed praniem 😀 Być może na tamtych filmikach pralnia niema trzepaczki do dywanów i wokoło jest pustynia z czarnoziemu, oczywiście nic w tym złego, każdy pierze po swojemu 😊
