Hi Al ! That river crossing is wild, and you guys hiking in shorts while there is snow around isn’t easy to watch 😅 The scenery is breathtaking, all’s worth it ❤

Believe it or not, but daytime is actually quite temperate. You're right, the scenery was amazing!

Thank goodness many of the bridges did survive the immense snow load. It must be an absurd amount of work to get those steel truss structures out there but it is "worth it".

Apparently, they are brought in by helicopter.

It's pretty tough sometimes. Definitely worth the struggle though.

Watching river crossings is quite nerve wracking but I suppose as long you've continued to post videos I shouldn't worry. I'm doing a catch up on your very interesting PCT trek. Wonderful job.

Well, if I'm posting them, I'm not dead. Doesn't mean I didn't go underwater at some point 😅

Is this in mid July 2023? Many of us are looking for the conditions in Sierra closer to today’s date, 7/18. Thank u.

Can't believe how much snow is still up on that pass. Keep them coming.

This was a while back. There's a bit of an editing gap between filming and publishing.

Wow, those rivers! Crossing them on bare feet too.... brave man. I gather it was a bit chilly? ⛄

Very very chilly. I should have had a spare pair of shoes just for the water crossings.
