Honestly, I always really wanted to see (hear?) the conclusion of the bath fight scene. Even just the concept of a prank golem that punishes people for not observing proper bathing etiquette is hilarious to me. "Don your armor! We shall enter the women's baths!"

This post about Nazarick characters is made in the spirit of fun discussion. It contains no spoilers to the animated series. I intended to post it on the final episode of season 2, but life distracted me. This post is meant to supplement the long post I made on season 1’s episode 13 where we looked at all the floor guardians and other characters that had been revealed up to that point. Let’s update that a bit with the stuff shown in season 2. Please keep in mind that some characters will be given their time in seasons 3 and 4, so discussing them yet would count as a spoiler. *Floor 4: Underground Lake* _Prime Guardian:_ Gargantua. We finally saw Gargantua, (briefly), in the attack on the lizardmen village. He was brought along to help terrify the lizardmen, but returned to Nazarick promptly after heaving a massive boulder at the villagers. Gargantua is not a custom NPC created by the guild, and so doesn’t weigh on the base’s NPC level cap limit. He is a construct of the game, a huge golem, that the guild either won or was gifted by the devs, (it seems to depend who you ask). He spends most of his time chilling at the bottom of the lake, waiting for an intruder to trespass. He has no intellect, so the other floor guardians have mixed opinions about whether he is truly ‘one of us’ or not. *Floor 8: Wilderness* _Primary Guardian:_ Victim. _Race:_ Level 35 Angel. _Job Class:_ Saint, Martyr At level 35, Victim is the weakest floor guardian in terms of combat ability. However, it isn’t his job to fight. It’s his job to sacrifice himself to activate his suicide skills to aide the mysterious powerful NPCs that are Nazarick’s final line of defense on the 8th floor. His skills are sometimes described as a powerful containment skill, some think he can revive fallen NPCs, others think he buffs allies and debuffs foes. It’s actually still kind of a mystery. Being an angel, he always speaks in the language of angles, (which when written looks like the words are all written back to front like the forest curse Hanami from Jujutsu Kaisen), but everyone can understand his meaning thanks to translation magics. He is very courteous and polite, not in the least sad that his duty is to die for the sake of the guild, even though Ainz feels guilty about that now that the NPCs have gained self-awareness. And yes, he is technically an angel fetus. He basically aborts himself to unleash his actual powers. *Pleiades Battle Maids:* _1st Pleiades:_ Yuri Alpha. Now that Sebas has been demoted from leadership of the Pleiades, Yuri has risen from second in command to first. She is a level 51 Dullahan, (a headless horseman), who specializes in direct damage martial arts. She wears a choker collar around her neck to keep her head in place. She fights with a pair of gauntlets and her maid uniform is designed to enhance mobility rather than defense. She is actually kind-hearted, and one of the few characters that is considered safe to have around humans. Yuri is also a workaholic, displeased when time is wasted standing around, and in general was modeled after a school teacher by her creator. You see she often acts like the school marm, getting others to fall in line and behave themselves. _4th Pleiades:_ CZ2128 Delta Delta is an interesting character, for several reasons. First, at level 46, she is the lowest level member of the Pleiades. She is an automaton, meaning she has no, (or at least never displays), emotion. She specializes in gunnery and sniping. She wouldn’t have existed in Yggdrasil normally, but a big updated called Valkyrie’s Downfall added firearms and the gunner job class to the game. She is also considered fairly safe to have around humans, because she doesn’t much care one way or another about race and class. If she has a vice, it’s that she like cute things, and will often hug something she considers cute until a superior orders her to stop. This causes a lot of annoyance on the part of the penguin butler Eclair, who is often the target of her glomps. She was created by guild member Garnet, who was one of the members also in charge of designing the security systems around the treasury and the rest of Nazarick. As such, Delta is one of the few, (or maybe the only?), NPCs who knows how to unlock all the doors in the tomb. She is the favorite Pleiades of the tomb’s homunculous maids, who all try to sit with her when they can. _6th Pleiades:_ Entoma Vasilisa Zeta As we got to see Entoma in action, we know she is a level 51 spider-based Insectoid Entomancer who calls upon all manor of insects to act as weapons. She also uses talismans for a variety of effects, so she can even act in a support roll rather than as a pure combatant, though her skills are the most rounded of all the Pleiades. Her maid outfit was designed for defense in mind more than mobility, to protect her as some of her skills take a while to cast. This makes her kind of the opposite of Yuri, even though they have the same level. Entoma is not actually considered evil, even though she likes to eat humans, muscular male arms in particular. As long as she’s not hungry, she is happy to let humans go their own way providing they aren’t causing trouble. When she can’t catch humans to eat, she has food called green biscuits she can fall back on. But she also likes to snack on the insects that live in The Black Capsule, an area on the 2nd floor of Nazarick. This causes a great deal of annoyance to Kyouhukou, the Black Capsule’s area guardian, but he is afraid of Entoma so he avoids confrontations with her. (Even though Kyouhukou was briefly mentioned at the very end of season 2, we will save talking about him until season 3.) While Entoma is proud of her appearance as designed by the supreme beings, she actually doesn’t care for the sound of her own voice. She uses a lip bug, a kind of leech, that can steal and imitate the voices of others. When the lip bug she was using died against Evileye, she didn’t like speaking in front of her sisters, which is why they were surprised she did briefly when they were all crouched behind the rocks during the final fight of the season. *Other Nazarick Residents* _Éclair Éklair Éklare_ The assistant butler to Nazarick, under the supervision of Sebas. Being of the birdman race, he was modeled specifically after a rockhopper penguin. He is a somewhat tragic character, in that his jokester creator deliberately programmed him with a desire to sit on the throne of Nazarick and seize the reins of power for himself. However, he is also instilled with a huge degree of respect for the supreme beings, meaning he would never dare commit such a treasonous act. This, combined with his hyper-inflated ego, means he has decided that he will take over by being the best employee to ever exist and thus be promoted to the position of supreme leader. The other NPCs understand he was created to be this way, so they are all tolerant and indulgent of his idiosyncrasies. He gets on quite well with Pestonya, likely because they were both created Ankoro Mochi, (who liked naming his characters after foods). _Pestonya Shortcake Wanko_ She is the head maid of Nazarick, working under the supervision of the head butler Sebas. While not a combatant like Sebas, she is tasked with overseeing the actual maid work the tomb requires, since the Pleiades suck at it. A beastman by race, she is modeled after a Shetland Sheepdog. Notably she has a scar running down her face from an unknown experience. Her level is unknown, but she has at least some that were put into magical skills, most likely meant to help her navigate the tomb. She can, for instance, help open gateways to other places. Despite her scary appearance, she is very much a kind soul, and is one of the two in the tomb that disapproves of killing innocent people. Since the personality traits instilled in the NPCs by their creator dominate their character, even to the point of overriding orders from other supreme beings, it is possible that she would refuse to kill innocent humans even if Ainz ordered her to. As such, she is the best person in the tomb to look after Tuare once the human girl had been brought to Nazarick and incorporated into the ranks of the homunculus maids. _Homunculus Maids_ 41 artificial humanoids created to see to all the duties that housekeeping demands. Despite numbering 41, they are not a group where each was made by a different supreme being. Instead, they were designed and created by three of the guild members. Sometimes called the android maids, their only desire is to work nonstop without taking breaks to keep Nazarick running as smoothly as possible. This is why even though they look similar to humans, Sebas told Pestonya to keep Tuare’s maid training geared to the level a human can cope with. They have never been beyond the 9th and 10th floors, so some of them suffer anxiety about the outside world, following the largest raid in Nazarick’s history that got as far as the 8th floor.
we do know that pestonya is at least lv70 as she has the means to cast some super tier spells, which only becomes available at 70+. she is one of the few healers in nazarick. dedicated heal slave. my guess is like how in other MMOs you have like unique NPCs in your guild that heal and save your progress etc and pestonya was that for nazarick. the guild members would go to her to get buffed and healed before moving out etc~
Pestonya is also a really good healer and a full support class, she can give her mana to others (shown when Ainz mentioned to Shaltear to ask for her aid to open large and long lasting gate spells) and she can also tap into the mana of willing creatures to help her casting spells, the author of the novels even mentioned that her, aided by Ainz large mana pool, could be able to cast a seemingly infinite number of resurrection spells (also because unlike Ainz, she doesn't need the wand of resurrection, the cost for her to resurrect someone is only a few gems)
There is no proof that Gargantua was won or gifted by the devs, its only given reason was that it "existed because of one of Yggdrasil’s rules." In the game, it could also not be used for defending the guild base Victims power is only described as a powerful movement restriction upon his death, thats all. Ankoro Mocchi Mochi is a girl Pestonya has access to the highest tier of healing magic so she should be around, or at minimum, level 63.

When she says she could catch him easily on her bicorn, she's not expressing regret, she's just saying that it would be easy for her to catch up if she wanted.
In the LN there is a part where Ainz was going to go take his slime bath but his usual slime was missing and after searching he found out that Solution had stolen it out of extreme jealousy because she wanted to be the one to clean him lol Also as you could probably tell, this introduction episode doesn't exactly have any relation to the story but shows what a typical day inside Nazarick is like when they aren't focusing on war or initiating security protocol, as well as shows the many facilities Nazarick has and how self-sufficient they are. They literally have all the resources and amenities they could ever need without ever needing to interfere with the outside world.
actually they had to like turn half of nazarick defenses off cuz stuff was consuming too much of the money in the treasury - some blizzard effects in cocytus floor ice hell for example was consuming a metric fuck ton of resource to keep going for no practical reasons. so they are actually kinda running on emergency energy currently cuz not enough material present, hence why ainz was so happy about demi raiding the kingdoms warehouses during finally eps in 2nd season~
There is a little bit of foreshadowing here that I didn't notice last time like how Lupus Regina complains about how boring Carne Village is, that glimpse of the lizardmen training Hamsky, and the fact that Kyobuko has come up again. Hell, even the bicorn issue comes up again briefly in the future. Once again I'm impressed that Overlord is just so damned good that it can totally do a slice-of-life episode for funsies and that information will actually still serve to further the story.

Yeah. Basically the guardians’ immediate subordinates. Really cool, presumably really powerful, underused characters. Wish we saw more of them, but it’s not like Overlord disappoints. It’s packed full of interesting characters, scenes, magic spells and items.
There was actually a scene in the LN (or some spin off I’m not sure) where Solution was arguing with Ainz about being the slime to clean his body during his slime baths. He of course refused but had to argue against her because she was being stubborn. He ended up using normal slimes in the end like the anime shows.
Not just argued, she hid Mioshi-kun(the slime) and sulked like a child, nearly giving Yuri a heart-attack by "defying" the supreme being. About the only time you see denizens of Nazarick disobeying Ainz is when they insist on serving more than he wants them to.
So this was a very light hearted episode and it shows more of Nazarick when they're not specifically out doing evil and trying to take over the world. For one, you will notice that Ainz is very worker rights conscious because he comes from a world where being overworked and sacrificing physical and mental health for work time was very much the norm. Which is why he constantly tries to get the people around Nazarick to take a break. Whether that's the Maids (which are Homunculi) or even the floor guardians. Hence him arranging a girls/guys day off. Secondly, Ainz is very self-conscious about his own lack of knowledge and leadership skills, although he is a pretty good leader he's trying to match the impossible expectations of the floor guardians who see him as an all knowing, all powerful and all capable being. So he's constantly reading up on how to be a better ruler. In combination with that we also see that Ainz is still the nerdy roleplayer at heart that he is. Which is why he also will often practice movements or lines that he think will sounds cool and impressive, so that he can perfectly use them at a point in the future. Lastly, we also get to see more of his nice side. While Ainz empathy towards humans is very much at a low he has nothing but love and care for everyone in Nazarick.

These are experiments to see if a child can be conceived by a human and a Demi-human or a human and hetromorph, as you would imagine this being one of Demiurge's experiments the participants are unwilling... Albedo was literally put in horny jail for trying to grape ainz but ainz bailed her out early
Also to make these "family units" behave, Demi has them take care of each other's children. Because if any of them misbehave, he would immediately portion off a part of their children (an arm, or a leg, maybe both) and feed it to the people taking care of them as a punishment. Its Cruel and Unusual, and Demi loves every single minute of it.

An explanation as to why the Normal Maids (they are all homunculi) ae taking turns in being Ainz's Personal Maid each day. As Ainz stated, he doesn't want Nazarick to resemble a Black Company (a shady company that demands overtime work even through the weekends and holidays for little pay) and has to order the maids to take a day-off so to speak. But because the maids and everyone in Nazarick are workaholics by their nature as NPCs, they just end up working the entire day instead of taking a break. So Ainz got the genius idea of assigning a Personal Maid each day to assist him, and they all would take turns for the role. This forces the maids to take a day-off and rest the day before their turn as Ainz's Personal Maid. As for the Floor Guardians, since they have a lot of projects to oversee, they really cannot afford to take too much days off, so Ainz made it mandatory for them all to take the same day off for group building exercises like the Ladies doing their own thing while the Guys get to hang out and chill (that's what the Information Circular was for)> Luke is finally realizing the wonders of Demiurges' Happy Farm and all the wonderful things happening inside. Like Mandatory Skin Grooming, Family Dinners, Breeding Experiments and Religious Debates to name some wonderful activities. Demiurge's Happy Farm, where Everyone is Happy, OR ELSE!
The reason people love bathing is a subconscious memory of being in the mothers womb. That not only applies to humans, but other mammals as well. Like kittens for example will do real well with baths if you get the temperature right and you can train them to be easy when bathing as an adult.
Ainz is the top of the food chain and a horse is something we ride, so Albedo just made a sex joke, she wants to ride a horse that has a name reference to Ainz. And yes, demiurge is doing the breeding experiment in all ways, YES EVEN WHAT YOU IMAGINED.(but thats the good end for you honestly)
This episode was essentially a “Day in Nazarick” show. But as an unofficial rule in anime that can be as dark as Overlord, if a season begins light & fluffy, serious stuff will go down later. Mare was so adorable this episode. Especially when he started crying while being held by Ainz.

Kyouhukou - is one of the loyal residents of the Tomb that is insectoid in Nature - his family are all the insects. He was introduced during the arc where the adventurers were seeking treasure etc. & they ended up confronting the Emperor over it.
12:40 - They're talking about an NPC of Nazarick, who was torturing Hilma. It was mentioned that "his family" were eating her from inside, then healed and repeated. 31:18 - It's explained on the Overlord Wiki, don't remember if it's mentioned even in LN: "Luci★Fer (one of the guild members) was the one who created and designed a very powerful Lion Golem in Spa Resort Nazarick. According to Momonga, shortly after activation, a flaw in the combat AI made itself known and the golem attacked everyone around it. He put it off as a bug in the combat AI, but Momonga remained skeptical and believed the "error" had been intentional on his guild member's part. He is also the maker responsible for creating the magnificent gate to the Throne Room."
Luci★Fer was famous for his pranks and his lack of social skills (most likely due to autism). Very few in the guild were on good terms with him. He created a ton of golems an secretly scattered them throughout the entire tomb.
The golems were pretty strong too. Some of them became issues guild members had to unite to deal with. There was a part in the first LN where Ainz was worried about entering a room because he worried the statues on both sides of the door would be golems that would attack him as a prank and he could be unable to deal with them alone.
Fun fact... Although Demiurge and Sebas hate each other's ideals... Demiurge is excited at the fact that Tuare is a lover to Sebas... Mainly due to wanting to see what the child from a human and a dragonoid would be like.
You're probably not wrong about Shaltear and Albedos little spat.. Albedo named the bicorn 'Top of the World' and she wants to be 'On top of the world' ... as for the name they mentioned earlier about them all being creeped out over you'll learn more about them soon enough.

Since I've waited to see your reactions to season 3 untill it was done I can comment this without fear. Season 3 is so good because it pays off so many setups from 2 previous seasons while itself making sure there are more places the story can go.

Yo add a bit of context... In anime a staple of fanservice episodes when going to the onsen in a group (at least when the anime is about highschoolers)... The boys trying to peep is a staple in the shows... Then again the boys in this show are pretty... mature?... so they wouldn't do that... the girls on the other hand... But it is also a staple that the girls side is usually prepared either with the students or teachers to stop the boys incoming for the peep... It is also a staple as far as japanese onsen go... to have a Lion head pouring the hot water into the baths... when they are trying to seem gaudy... So in this case the Lion in the other side happened to be the peeping counter measures so it came to life and started attaking the girls for trying to peep..
About the "Top of the World", the NPC's of Nazarik consider Ainz to be the supreme being that stands on top of all the beings in the world. Now if she names her mount that, she will be, in her mind, riding Ainz.

Next episode is not about the bath scene. This episode is just an intro for you to remember the characters and personalities. Basically a side story in one episode or OVA.
First i want to warn you that the third season is the darkest of all so far, but it also has quite enjoyable episodes like this one. However, there is a lot of information hidden in each of the scenarios that they show us (which makes my "Job" harder BUT im tenacious!). The first scene takes place in the throne room where Ainz is rewarding all the guardians for the recent operation in the Kingdom. But then we move on to a series of events that actually take place at a different time. I believe the beings behind the guardians are summons from Demiurge and the others are Aura's pets. The first one shows us Ainz taking a hot bath, which for the Japanese has a very important cultural significance, since in the past they were extremely bellicose people where one always had to be ready for a sudden attack... Except in the baths, because everyone was naked and it was impossible to hide a knife or sword. Hence, the bathrooms became the place for socializing in Japan. For a long time Ainz wanted to take a bath even though, being an undead, he doesn't sweat or secrete any odor. However, his skeletal body is difficult to clean and he had a lot of trouble until he came up with the slime bath Idea. It now occurs to him to organize a kind of meeting for the male guardians of Nazarick and socialize as it is done in Japan. The next scene involves Nazarick's maids, who fall into two classes: Regular Maids, who are relatively low-level humunculi, though stronger than a normal human, and do minor miscellaneous jobs, especially cleaning in the ninth and tenth floors of Nazarick. And then there are the seven Battle Maids or Pleiades, who are the powerful defenders and are considered idols for the regular Maids. Regular Maids love to work 24 hours without any breaks and for that they even have Items that make sleeping or eating unnecessary. But Ainz, being the salaryman that he really is, was horrified to discover this and immediately proposed that the maids have at least one free day each week. However, the Maids complained, but not for more rest time but the opposite: They considered that not working was a kind of punishment. Ainz tried and tried, but finally all he got was to offer the following deal: One of them would be his personal maid for 24 hours, but the day before she had to eat and rest well in order to "serve the master with all her abilities". The maids accepted the proposal with enthusiasm and that's why we see Sixth, the maid of that day, eating extra for when it's time to serve Ainz, who is depressed because Nazarick reminds him of a ruthless company that abuses its workers. We also meet a couple of Battle Maids: Lupusregina Beta, a werewolf, who loves to taunt others using invisibility and Shizu Delta, who is an android, and seems to love fluffy and pretty things too much, judging by how she holds on to the unlucky butler penguin. The creatures we see on the roof of Ainz's office are the Eight-Edge Assassin, magical beings with an insect-like body shape that wears a black spider ninja costume which have eight legs that are like keen blades. Eight-Edge Assassins are beings summoned from YGGDRASIL gold. The next scene shows us the female Guardians, who Ainz has ordered to spend some free time together in the hope that they will rest and fraternize, although as always, they take it as some kind of important secret plan of Ainz whose mystery they have to discover. And that's why they start experimenting with their abilities. In the novel it is at this moment that it is mentioned that Ainz ordered to invite certain species to live on the Fourth Floor, as part of a plan to show the world that Nazarick can coexist peacefully with others. There are two conditions to be accepted: Not being an aggressive species against humans and being self-sufficient. And it is that Nazarick is designed so that all the NPCs obtain the food or resources they need without ever falling into the red. But if suddenly more people who consume food arrive, the expenses would skyrocket. Hence, most of the guests are Dryads or plant-type creatures that only need water and nutrients from the earth, which can be provided by Mare and his druidic magic. We also discovered that Albedo is a Succubus, a kind of sexual demon, but because she is always in the throne room, she is still a virgin, which is a shame for her. A lot of this has to do with the fact that Momonga changed her setup at the beginning of this story, because in case you don't remember, Albedo was originally meant to be a nympho who sleeps with everyone. We also learn that, on top of all her fetishes, Shalltear also likes sex with other women and necrophilia, but although her main interest is men, she hasn't had sex with any yet because she hasn't found any dead men she likes, apart from Ainz. Finally, the 3 guardians decide that they will visit the baths. In the next scene we see Hamsuke and a Death Knight who are training with the Lizardmen to gain the ability to use Martial Arts. Mare is supervising everything when he receives a messenger from the Demiurge, who delivers Ainz's invitation to go bathing. However, Pulcinella also reveals some gruesome details of Demiurge's Happy Farm to us. To be fair, Demiurge does these experiments for Sebas' sake so that Sebas and Tuare can live happily.... Demiurge first managed to extract the skin of humans captured multiple times, combining healing magic with manual techniques. He later managed to optimize the process of feeding them by making them eat human flesh, cutting off the leg of one to feed the rest and then regenerating the amputated leg with magic. He then made them have children, exchange them and eat them. Finally, in an attempt to improve the quality of the scrolls, Demiurge is using aphrodisiac magic to make his prisoners mate with monsters to create hybrids that produce better leather.Demiurge is a sick bastard worse than Hitler and Stalin put together! what -500 Karma does to you ..... Finally, in the post credits scene we see the guardians sharing a bath. On the other side are the women and we hear that Albedo produces an intense sound when moving, as if her body was gigantic. If we remember correctly, in the first season Shalltear insulted Albedo by calling her "Gorilla", so we can deduce that the Overseer of the Guardians, like many in Nazarick, has a second form that is quite large. Luci ★ Fer was a member of the Ainz Own Goal Guild who is also the creator of Kyouhukou, the area guardian most hated by almost every women in Nazarick (He is a cockroach). Luci ★ Fer was famous, or rather infamous, for being a troublemaker and leaving traps all over Nazarick just to annoy his teammates. That's why even Momonga (Ainz) didn't appreciate it very much. Apparently in the women's bathroom there is a sculpture of a lion that is actually a Trap Golem made by Luci ★ Fer, which starts attacking the women when Albedo tries to spy on Ainz. That is why the Overlord has to interrupt his rest and order all the guardians to gather to help the women defend themselves from this trap left by his friend. Well, that's all for now. I think the rest of the events are quite obvious and it would only be worth adding that Shalltear's encyclopedia is an item that all the players had and they were supposed to fill it with information about the monsters. Ainz kept Peroronchino's and gave it to the vampire as a reward. Although in the novel it is mentioned that there was a lot of information erased, as if its author had been ashamed of many things that he wrote. See you in the next chapter!

Those spiders were called Eight-Edge Assassins and they're part of Ainz' personal body guards. Albedo basically wrecked them all in one scene here - iirc they do actually end up saving Ainz from Albedo.

Demiurge's experiments usually have a reason behind them. The "Happy Farm" where they skin people is to provide quality leather to create magic scrolls and other items, using animal hides is lower quality than that of humanoids. The breeding experiments go all the way back to what was said in episode 1/2 of the first season, where it was noted that even if Ainz would get it going with either Albedo or Shalltear, nothing would come of it due to him being a Lich/undead. Thus Demiurge is trying to find a way to cross breed various species, with the ultimate goal being to find a way for Ainz to produce an heir. (and the ulterior motive being he as a devil loves watching beings suffer, so its likely every violent experiments between unwilling humans and savage/unthinking monsters that do more damage than anything else.)

Listen, I didn't understand the "circular" thing till I moved to Japan. It's a very localized information post that goes through a neighborhood. Instead of everyone getting a certain newspaper or whatever in their mailbox, people in an apartment complex or local neighborhood gets the circular. There's a single copy that gets handed from house to house by the residents themselves, once they've read and understood what's in it. They mark that they've read it and understood it, and then walk to the next dwelling and puts it in their mailbox. And from there it's that dwelling's responsibility to read it and pass it on, marking on a front sheet that they did receive it and read it.
Demiurge's happy farm is kinda like area 51. We have an idea of what happens there, we hear stories and rumors, but at the end of the day its best to not ask too many questions 🤫
Welcome to season three of Overlord! I hope you'll like it! It is my personal favorite although 4th season is really close behind. 1- You seemed to have a few questions during the bath scene. Look at it that way, we, as humans, already have a hard time really cleaning our bodies correctly. Let's be honest, if you do not spend at least 20 minutes scrubing yourself, and that's excluding the hair, you're not as clean as you think. Our porous skin will always have some dirt and bacteries on it unless you spend an increadibly long time scrubing yourself. Then, if you do that, you'll dry your skin, which won't be better because it can cause some micro cuts that will open your body to virus and other nefarious invasions. Yeah... Cleaning ourself isn't as easy as we think... Now, look at his body, there is so many nooks and cranies, it's even harder to clean. He'd have to scrub between each rib, each bone, each hole, it would be a nightmare. Slime, with their acidic bodyand able to regulate it so it wont hurt him or anyone, are a blessing for him since they can reach every spot andjust disolve the grime and the bacterias. That's why a slime bath is the ultimate bath for him, as it is for anyone in that universe. 2- What you mentioned about bath... I like your idea of a good bath, but I prefer mine. I bring candles so the light isn't blinding and a really good book. I can stay in the bath for an hour, just relaxing and reading one of my favorite stories or an historical document. It is such a great time, something a lot of people really underestimate in this day and age. 3- That girl would be CZ2128 Delta, created by a member we do not know a lot about called Garnet. She is an automaton, which explain why she use a magic gun as her weapon. By the way, her Karma is actually pretty high, standing at 100 making her one of the kindest member of Nazarick. Therefor, it is no wonder she is the most liked member of the seven sisters (the 7 strongest member of the Pleiades) and their underlings often fight to sit next to her. One of her principal weaknesses is toward cute things, she really... REALLY like them! Éclair (the pinguin) is her favorite. 4- That sound you mentioned isn't exactly explained. The way I understand it, it's when he is either lost in his mind or so concentrated on something and something else is brought to his attention. It seem to indicate he is entirely focusing on what is said and brought to is attention at that moment. In short, it show how focused he is on a new topic. 5- Kyouhukou, the one the girls were mentioning, has only been talked about in the last episode of the second season untill now. If you remember the round table meeting during the credits, Mare mentionned the woman became very obedient after Kyouhukou's children crawled into her and ate her from the inside out. Of course she was healed after, but it already gave you an idea of what kind of character he is. I'll give you an hint, Entoma isn't the only entomancer in Nazarick, Kyouhukou is another one, but he specialise mostly in only one kind of bug, and he is really good at it. He might not be that strong, but in an enclosed space, he is deadly. 6- Oh, Shalltear could easily ride that bicorne. She is the imbodiment of impurity. She might not have had a man in her life, but she lost her virginity long ago and she is kind of voracious when it comes to lewd stuff. Like she said, she might not like rotting corpse, but even corpse in general aren't out of her strike zone, even heavily maimed and bleeding. 7- To answer your question, when Overlord season 2 was announced, they also announced season 3. We didn't have that long to wait between them, around 3 month. The last episode of season 2 aired the April 3rd 2018 and the first of season 3 aired July 10th 2018.
Shizu (maid) Later on in the game Yggdrasil they had an update that added a lot tech stuff to try and get more people. This includes automatons (shizu), guns (functions like bows), Mechs, and stuff like that.

First episode is very lighthearted, now back to finding out what has been happening with everyone else before we get into something more serious for the back half!
This episode was mostly ''A day in Nazarick'' vibe. Ainz is trying his best to make it so the NPCs stop working 24/7 and therefore tries to make them take days off. The other lizardman you saw was Zenberu, not the brother. The brother was also resurrected by Ainz. The Maid with the gun is called CZ2128 Delta, but calling her CZ, Shizu or Delta is fine. She loves to hug cute things, that's why she was cuddling the penguin Eclair. You'll see more of her in the Holy Kingdom movie. Albedo lost control of her senses when she saw Ainz pour his love for the NPCs before her, and that lead to what you saw lol. Pretty sure that didn't count as banging, or rather, it would be impossible with Lord Ainz's body! ^_^ There was a lot cut from the novel. Albedo/Shalltear/Aura also went to the gardens and talked to the head chef about ingredients, and they pet a monster called Pandora Rabbit. It was explained that Nazarick was experimenting by letting species of monsters from the outside reside on the 6th floor, as long as they are self sufficient. There was a village built for some lizardmen, and they also have some dryads from a side-story. Mare went on an full on adventure in and out of Nazarick to find Cocytus to give him the Spa invitation after he received it from Pulcinella. When we saw Lupusregina (red-haired battle maid) in the cafeteria with the other maids, she was practicing one of her pranks, spooking people by appearing behind them while invisible. She was assigned the surveillance of Carne Village at the end of Season 1, and is bored because nothing much is happening there yet. The 8 edge assassins are mercenary summons that Ainz uses as bodyguards. They are skilled at stealth. Ainz makes a big deal of his ''slime bath'' idea because as a skeleton, he found it very difficult to wash every corner of his body. So, slimes are perfect since he can resist their corrosive abilities. At the end, this is a prank of one of his old guildmates. He enjoyed putting traps and gimmicks in Nazarick. One of those was a lion golem that would attack if someone didn't properly wash themselves before entering the bath. I don't know about the ''hairy'' comment from Aura, but Albedo probably transformed into her 2nd form to jump into the bath, hence why we heard loud thuds as she walked. 3 of the guardians possess a ''2nd form'', as it was popular in the game to have a ''final form'' as an ability. Those are Albedo, Sebas & Demiurge.
In the manga and the LN there are a lot more side stories where we get to see characters interact and grow, but, i can see why a lot of them got cut due to anime pacing and such
To answer your question about the gap between S2 and S3, that would be 3 months. S1 came out Summer 2015. S2 came out Winter of 2018. S3 Summer 2018. S4, in case you're wondering, was Summer 2022. So definitely some really big gaps.

This post about Nazarick characters is made in the spirit of fun discussion. It contains no spoilers to the animated series. I intended to post it on the final episode of season 2, but life distracted me. This post is meant to supplement the long post I made on season 1’s episode 13 where we looked at all the floor guardians and other characters that had been revealed up to that point. Let’s update that a bit with the stuff shown in season 2. Please keep in mind that some characters will be given their time in seasons 3 and 4, so discussing them yet would count as a spoiler.
*Floor 4: Underground Lake*
_Prime Guardian:_ Gargantua. We finally saw Gargantua, (briefly), in the attack on the lizardmen village. He was brought along to help terrify the lizardmen, but returned to Nazarick promptly after heaving a massive boulder at the villagers.
Gargantua is not a custom NPC created by the guild, and so doesn’t weigh on the base’s NPC level cap limit. He is a construct of the game, a huge golem, that the guild either won or was gifted by the devs, (it seems to depend who you ask). He spends most of his time chilling at the bottom of the lake, waiting for an intruder to trespass. He has no intellect, so the other floor guardians have mixed opinions about whether he is truly ‘one of us’ or not.
*Floor 8: Wilderness*
_Primary Guardian:_ Victim. _Race:_ Level 35 Angel. _Job Class:_ Saint, Martyr
At level 35, Victim is the weakest floor guardian in terms of combat ability. However, it isn’t his job to fight. It’s his job to sacrifice himself to activate his suicide skills to aide the mysterious powerful NPCs that are Nazarick’s final line of defense on the 8th floor. His skills are sometimes described as a powerful containment skill, some think he can revive fallen NPCs, others think he buffs allies and debuffs foes. It’s actually still kind of a mystery.
Being an angel, he always speaks in the language of angles, (which when written looks like the words are all written back to front like the forest curse Hanami from Jujutsu Kaisen), but everyone can understand his meaning thanks to translation magics. He is very courteous and polite, not in the least sad that his duty is to die for the sake of the guild, even though Ainz feels guilty about that now that the NPCs have gained self-awareness. And yes, he is technically an angel fetus. He basically aborts himself to unleash his actual powers.
*Pleiades Battle Maids:*
_1st Pleiades:_ Yuri Alpha.
Now that Sebas has been demoted from leadership of the Pleiades, Yuri has risen from second in command to first. She is a level 51 Dullahan, (a headless horseman), who specializes in direct damage martial arts. She wears a choker collar around her neck to keep her head in place. She fights with a pair of gauntlets and her maid uniform is designed to enhance mobility rather than defense.
She is actually kind-hearted, and one of the few characters that is considered safe to have around humans. Yuri is also a workaholic, displeased when time is wasted standing around, and in general was modeled after a school teacher by her creator. You see she often acts like the school marm, getting others to fall in line and behave themselves.
_4th Pleiades:_ CZ2128 Delta
Delta is an interesting character, for several reasons. First, at level 46, she is the lowest level member of the Pleiades. She is an automaton, meaning she has no, (or at least never displays), emotion. She specializes in gunnery and sniping. She wouldn’t have existed in Yggdrasil normally, but a big updated called Valkyrie’s Downfall added firearms and the gunner job class to the game.
She is also considered fairly safe to have around humans, because she doesn’t much care one way or another about race and class. If she has a vice, it’s that she like cute things, and will often hug something she considers cute until a superior orders her to stop. This causes a lot of annoyance on the part of the penguin butler Eclair, who is often the target of her glomps.
She was created by guild member Garnet, who was one of the members also in charge of designing the security systems around the treasury and the rest of Nazarick. As such, Delta is one of the few, (or maybe the only?), NPCs who knows how to unlock all the doors in the tomb. She is the favorite Pleiades of the tomb’s homunculous maids, who all try to sit with her when they can.
_6th Pleiades:_ Entoma Vasilisa Zeta
As we got to see Entoma in action, we know she is a level 51 spider-based Insectoid Entomancer who calls upon all manor of insects to act as weapons. She also uses talismans for a variety of effects, so she can even act in a support roll rather than as a pure combatant, though her skills are the most rounded of all the Pleiades. Her maid outfit was designed for defense in mind more than mobility, to protect her as some of her skills take a while to cast. This makes her kind of the opposite of Yuri, even though they have the same level.
Entoma is not actually considered evil, even though she likes to eat humans, muscular male arms in particular. As long as she’s not hungry, she is happy to let humans go their own way providing they aren’t causing trouble. When she can’t catch humans to eat, she has food called green biscuits she can fall back on. But she also likes to snack on the insects that live in The Black Capsule, an area on the 2nd floor of Nazarick. This causes a great deal of annoyance to Kyouhukou, the Black Capsule’s area guardian, but he is afraid of Entoma so he avoids confrontations with her. (Even though Kyouhukou was briefly mentioned at the very end of season 2, we will save talking about him until season 3.)
While Entoma is proud of her appearance as designed by the supreme beings, she actually doesn’t care for the sound of her own voice. She uses a lip bug, a kind of leech, that can steal and imitate the voices of others. When the lip bug she was using died against Evileye, she didn’t like speaking in front of her sisters, which is why they were surprised she did briefly when they were all crouched behind the rocks during the final fight of the season.
*Other Nazarick Residents*
_Éclair Éklair Éklare_
The assistant butler to Nazarick, under the supervision of Sebas. Being of the birdman race, he was modeled specifically after a rockhopper penguin. He is a somewhat tragic character, in that his jokester creator deliberately programmed him with a desire to sit on the throne of Nazarick and seize the reins of power for himself. However, he is also instilled with a huge degree of respect for the supreme beings, meaning he would never dare commit such a treasonous act. This, combined with his hyper-inflated ego, means he has decided that he will take over by being the best employee to ever exist and thus be promoted to the position of supreme leader. The other NPCs understand he was created to be this way, so they are all tolerant and indulgent of his idiosyncrasies. He gets on quite well with Pestonya, likely because they were both created Ankoro Mochi, (who liked naming his characters after foods).
_Pestonya Shortcake Wanko_
She is the head maid of Nazarick, working under the supervision of the head butler Sebas. While not a combatant like Sebas, she is tasked with overseeing the actual maid work the tomb requires, since the Pleiades suck at it. A beastman by race, she is modeled after a Shetland Sheepdog. Notably she has a scar running down her face from an unknown experience. Her level is unknown, but she has at least some that were put into magical skills, most likely meant to help her navigate the tomb. She can, for instance, help open gateways to other places.
Despite her scary appearance, she is very much a kind soul, and is one of the two in the tomb that disapproves of killing innocent people. Since the personality traits instilled in the NPCs by their creator dominate their character, even to the point of overriding orders from other supreme beings, it is possible that she would refuse to kill innocent humans even if Ainz ordered her to. As such, she is the best person in the tomb to look after Tuare once the human girl had been brought to Nazarick and incorporated into the ranks of the homunculus maids.
_Homunculus Maids_
41 artificial humanoids created to see to all the duties that housekeeping demands. Despite numbering 41, they are not a group where each was made by a different supreme being. Instead, they were designed and created by three of the guild members. Sometimes called the android maids, their only desire is to work nonstop without taking breaks to keep Nazarick running as smoothly as possible. we do know that pestonya is at least lv70 as she has the means to cast some super tier spells, which only becomes available at 70+. she is one of the few healers in nazarick.

my guess is like how in other MMOs you have like unique NPCs in your guild that heal and save your progress etc and pestonya was that for nazarick. the guild members would go to her to get buffed and healed before moving out etc~

Pestonya is also a really good healer and a full support class, she can give her mana to others (shown when Ainz mentioned to Shaltear to ask for her aid to open large and long lasting gate spells) and she can also tap into the mana of willing creatures to help her casting spells, the author of the novels even mentioned that her, aided by Ainz large mana pool, could be able to cast a seemingly infinite number of resurrection spells (also because unlike Ainz, she doesn't need the wand of resurrection, the cost for her to resurrect someone is only a few gems)

Also as you could probably tell, this introduction episode doesn't exactly have any relation to the story but shows what a typical day inside Nazarick is like when they aren't focusing on war or initiating security protocol, as well as shows the many facilities Nazarick has and how self-sufficient they are. They literally have all the resources and amenities they could ever need without ever needing to interfere with the outside world.
actually they had to like turn half of nazarick defenses off cuz stuff was consuming too much of the money in the treasury - some blizzard effects in cocytus floor ice hell for example was consuming a metric fuck ton of resource to keep going for no practical reasons.
so they are actually kinda running on emergency energy currently cuz not enough material present, hence why ainz was so happy about demi raiding the kingdoms warehouses during finally eps in 2nd season~
There is a little bit of foreshadowing here that I didn't notice last time like how Lupus Regina complains about how boring Carne Village is, that glimpse of the lizardmen training Hamsky, and the fact that Kyobuko has come up again. Hell, even the bicorn issue comes up again briefly in the future. Once again I'm impressed that Overlord is just so damned good that it can totally do a slice-of-life episode for funsies and that information will actually still serve to further the story.

Yeah. Basically the guardians’ immediate subordinates. Really cool, presumably really powerful, underused characters. Wish we saw more of them, but it’s not like Overlord disappoints. It’s packed full of interesting characters, scenes, magic spells and items.
There was actually a scene in the LN (or some spin off I’m not sure) where Solution was arguing with Ainz about being the slime to clean his body during his slime baths. He of course refused but had to argue against her because she was being stubborn. He ended up using normal slimes in the end like the anime shows.
Not just argued, she hid Mioshi-kun(the slime) and sulked like a child, nearly giving Yuri a heart-attack by "defying" the supreme being. About the only time you see denizens of Nazarick disobeying Ainz is when they insist on serving more than he wants them to.

So this was a very light hearted episode and it shows more of Nazarick when they're not specifically out doing evil and trying to take over the world.
For one, you will notice that Ainz is very worker rights conscious because he comes from a world where being overworked and sacrificing physical and mental health for work time was very much the norm. Which is why he constantly tries to get the people around Nazarick to take a break. Whether that's the Maids (which are Homunculi) or even the floor guardians. Hence him arranging a girls/guys day off.
Secondly, Ainz is very self-conscious about his own lack of knowledge and leadership skills, although he is a pretty good leader he's trying to match the impossible expectations of the floor guardians who see him as an all knowing, all powerful and all capable being. So he's constantly reading up on how to be a better ruler.
In combination with that we also see that Ainz is still the nerdy roleplayer at heart that he is. Which is why he also will often practice movements or lines that he think will sounds cool and impressive, so that he can perfectly use them at a point in the future.
Lastly, we also get to see more of his nice side. While Ainz empathy towards humans is very much at a low he has nothing but love and care for everyone in Nazarick.

An explanation as to why the Normal Maids (they are all homunculi) ae taking turns in being Ainz's Personal Maid each day. As Ainz stated, he doesn't want Nazarick to resemble a Black Company (a shady company that demands overtime work even through the weekends and holidays for little pay) and has to order the maids to take a day-off so to speak. But because the maids and everyone in Nazarick are workaholics by their nature as NPCs, they just end up working the entire day instead of taking a break. So Ainz got the genius idea of assigning a Personal Maid each day to assist him, and they all would take turns for the role. This forces the maids to take a day-off and rest the day before their turn as Ainz's Personal Maid.
As for the Floor Guardians, since they have a lot of projects to oversee, they really cannot afford to take too much days off, so Ainz made it mandatory for them all to take the same day off for group building exercises like the Ladies doing their own thing while the Guys get to hang out and chill (that's what the Information Circular was for)>

Luci★Fer was famous for his pranks and his lack of social skills (most likely due to autism). Very few in the guild were on good terms with him. He created a ton of golems an secretly scattered them throughout the entire tomb.

The golems were pretty strong too. Some of them became issues guild members had to unite to deal with.
There was a part in the first LN where Ainz was worried about entering a room because he worried the statues on both sides of the door would be golems that would attack him as a prank and he could be unable to deal with them alone.

In anime a staple of fanservice episodes when going to the onsen in a group (at least when the anime is about highschoolers)... The boys trying to peep is a staple in the shows...
Then again the boys in this show are pretty... mature?... so they wouldn't do that... the girls on the other hand...
But it is also a staple that the girls side is usually prepared either with the students or teachers to stop the boys incoming for the peep...
It is also a staple as far as japanese onsen go... to have a Lion head pouring the hot water into the baths... when they are trying to seem gaudy...
So in this case the Lion in the other side happened to be the peeping counter measures so it came to life and started attaking the girls for trying to peep..
About the "Top of the World", the NPC's of Nazarik consider Ainz to be the supreme being that stands on top of all the beings in the world. Now if she names her mount that, she will be, in her mind, riding Ainz.

First i want to warn you that the third season is the darkest of all so far, but it also has quite enjoyable episodes like this one. However, there is a lot of information hidden in each of the scenarios that they show us (which makes my "Job" harder BUT im tenacious!).
The first scene takes place in the throne room where Ainz is rewarding all the guardians for the recent operation in the Kingdom. But then we move on to a series of events that actually take place at a different time. I believe the beings behind the guardians are summons from Demiurge and the others are Aura's pets.
The first one shows us Ainz taking a hot bath, which for the Japanese has a very important cultural significance, since in the past they were extremely bellicose people where one always had to be ready for a sudden attack... Except in the baths, because everyone was naked and it was impossible to hide a knife or sword. Hence, the bathrooms became the place for socializing in Japan. For a long time Ainz wanted to take a bath even though, being an undead, he doesn't sweat or secrete any odor. However, his skeletal body is difficult to clean and he had a lot of trouble until he came up with the slime bath Idea. It now occurs to him to organize a kind of meeting for the male guardians of Nazarick and socialize as it is done in Japan.
The next scene involves Nazarick's maids, who fall into two classes: Regular Maids, who are relatively low-level humunculi, though stronger than a normal human, and do minor miscellaneous jobs, especially cleaning in the ninth and tenth floors of Nazarick. And then there are the seven Battle Maids or Pleiades, who are the powerful defenders and are considered idols for the regular Maids.
Regular Maids love to work 24 hours without any breaks and for that they even have Items that make sleeping or eating unnecessary. But Ainz, being the salaryman that he really is, was horrified to discover this and immediately proposed that the maids have at least one free day each week. However, the Maids complained, but not for more rest time but the opposite: They considered that not working was a kind of punishment.
Ainz tried and tried, but finally all he got was to offer the following deal: One of them would be his personal maid for 24 hours, but the day before she had to eat and rest well in order to "serve the master with all her abilities". The maids accepted the proposal with enthusiasm and that's why we see Sixth, the maid of that day, eating extra for when it's time to serve Ainz, who is depressed because Nazarick reminds him of a ruthless company that abuses its workers.
We also meet a couple of Battle Maids: Lupusregina Beta, a werewolf, who loves to taunt others using invisibility and Shizu Delta, who is an android, and seems to love fluffy and pretty things too much, judging by how she holds on to the unlucky butler penguin.
The creatures we see on the roof of Ainz's office are the Eight-Edge Assassin, magical beings with an insect-like body shape that wears a black spider ninja costume which have eight legs that are like keen blades. Eight-Edge Assassins are beings summoned from YGGDRASIL gold.
The next scene shows us the female Guardians, who Ainz has ordered to spend some free time together in the hope that they will rest and fraternize, although as always, they take it as some kind of important secret plan of Ainz whose mystery they have to discover. And that's why they start experimenting with their abilities.
In the novel it is at this moment that it is mentioned that Ainz ordered to invite certain species to live on the Fourth Floor, as part of a plan to show the world that Nazarick can coexist peacefully with others. There are two conditions to be accepted: Not being an aggressive species against humans and being self-sufficient.
And it is that Nazarick is designed so that all the NPCs obtain the food or resources they need without ever falling into the red. But if suddenly more people who consume food arrive, the expenses would skyrocket. Hence, most of the guests are Dryads or plant-type creatures that only need water and nutrients from the earth, which can be provided by Mare and his druidic magic.
We also discovered that Albedo is a Succubus, a kind of sexual demon, but because she is always in the throne room, she is still a virgin, which is a shame for her. A lot of this has to do with the fact that Momonga changed her setup at the beginning of this story, because in case you don't remember, Albedo was originally meant to be a nympho who sleeps with everyone. We also learn that, on top of all her fetishes, Shalltear also likes sex with other women and necrophilia, but although her main interest is men, she hasn't had sex with any yet because she hasn't found any dead men she likes, apart from Ainz. Finally, the 3 guardians decide that they will visit the baths.
In the next scene we see Hamsuke and a Death Knight who are training with the Lizardmen to gain the ability to use Martial Arts. Mare is supervising everything when he receives a messenger from the Demiurge, who delivers Ainz's invitation to go bathing. However, Pulcinella also reveals some gruesome details of Demiurge's Happy Farm to us. To be fair, Demiurge does these experiments for Sebas' sake so that Sebas and Tuare can live happily....
Demiurge first managed to extract the skin of humans captured multiple times, combining healing magic with manual techniques. He later managed to optimize the process of feeding them by making them eat human flesh, cutting off the leg of one to feed the rest and then regenerating the amputated leg with magic. He then made them have children, exchange them and eat them. Finally, in an attempt to improve the quality of the scrolls, Demiurge is using aphrodisiac magic to make his prisoners mate with monsters to create hybrids that produce better leather.Demiurge is a sick bastard worse than Hitler and Stalin put together! what -500 Karma does to you .....
Finally, in the post credits scene we see the guardians sharing a bath. On the other side are the women and we hear that Albedo produces an intense sound when moving, as if her body was gigantic. If we remember correctly, in the first season Shalltear insulted Albedo by calling her "Gorilla", so we can deduce that the Overseer of the Guardians, like many in Nazarick, has a second form that is quite large.
Luci ★ Fer was a member of the Ainz Own Goal Guild who is also the creator of Kyouhukou, the area guardian most hated by almost every women in Nazarick (He is a cockroach). Luci ★ Fer was famous, or rather infamous, for being a troublemaker and leaving traps all over Nazarick just to annoy his teammates. That's why even Momonga (Ainz) didn't appreciate it very much.
Apparently in the women's bathroom there is a sculpture of a lion that is actually a Trap Golem made by Luci ★ Fer, which starts attacking the women when Albedo tries to spy on Ainz.
That is why the Overlord has to interrupt his rest and order all the guardians to gather to help the women defend themselves from this trap left by his friend.
Well, that's all for now. I think the rest of the events are quite obvious and it would only be worth adding that Shalltear's encyclopedia is an item that all the players had and they were supposed to fill it with information about the monsters. Ainz kept Peroronchino's and gave it to the vampire as a reward. Although in the novel it is mentioned that there was a lot of information erased, as if its author had been ashamed of many things that he wrote.

Those spiders were called Eight-Edge Assassins and they're part of Ainz' personal body guards. Albedo basically wrecked them all in one scene here - iirc they do actually end up saving Ainz from Albedo.

The breeding experiments go all the way back to what was said in episode 1/2 of the first season, where it was noted that even if Ainz would get it going with either Albedo or Shalltear, nothing would come of it due to him being a Lich/undead.
Thus Demiurge is trying to find a way to cross breed various species, with the ultimate goal being to find a way for Ainz to produce an heir. (and the ulterior motive being he as a devil loves watching beings suffer, so its likely every violent experiments between unwilling humans and savage/unthinking monsters that do more damage than anything else.)

Listen, I didn't understand the "circular" thing till I moved to Japan. It's a very localized information post that goes through a neighborhood. Instead of everyone getting a certain newspaper or whatever in their mailbox, people in an apartment complex or local neighborhood gets the circular. There's a single copy that gets handed from house to house by the residents themselves, once they've read and understood what's in it. They mark that they've read it and understood it, and then walk to the next dwelling and puts it in their mailbox. And from there it's that dwelling's responsibility to read it and pass it on, marking on a front sheet that they did receive it and read it.

Welcome to season three of Overlord! I hope you'll like it! It is my personal favorite although 4th season is really close behind.
1- You seemed to have a few questions during the bath scene. Look at it that way, we, as humans, already have a hard time really cleaning our bodies correctly. Let's be honest, if you do not spend at least 20 minutes scrubing yourself, and that's excluding the hair, you're not as clean as you think. Our porous skin will always have some dirt and bacteries on it unless you spend an increadibly long time scrubing yourself. Then, if you do that, you'll dry your skin, which won't be better because it can cause some micro cuts that will open your body to virus and other nefarious invasions. Yeah... Cleaning ourself isn't as easy as we think... Now, look at his body, there is so many nooks and cranies, it's even harder to clean. He'd have to scrub between each rib, each bone, each hole, it would be a nightmare. Slime, with their acidic bodyand able to regulate it so it wont hurt him or anyone, are a blessing for him since they can reach every spot andjust disolve the grime and the bacterias. That's why a slime bath is the ultimate bath for him, as it is for anyone in that universe.
2- What you mentioned about bath... I like your idea of a good bath, but I prefer mine. I bring candles so the light isn't blinding and a really good book. I can stay in the bath for an hour, just relaxing and reading one of my favorite stories or an historical document. It is such a great time, something a lot of people really underestimate in this day and age.
3- That girl would be CZ2128 Delta, created by a member we do not know a lot about called Garnet. She is an automaton, which explain why she use a magic gun as her weapon. By the way, her Karma is actually pretty high, standing at 100 making her one of the kindest member of Nazarick. Therefor, it is no wonder she is the most liked member of the seven sisters (the 7 strongest member of the Pleiades) and their underlings often fight to sit next to her. One of her principal weaknesses is toward cute things, she really... REALLY like them! Éclair (the pinguin) is her favorite.
4- That sound you mentioned isn't exactly explained. The way I understand it, it's when he is either lost in his mind or so concentrated on something and something else is brought to his attention. It seem to indicate he is entirely focusing on what is said and brought to is attention at that moment. In short, it show how focused he is on a new topic.
5- Kyouhukou, the one the girls were mentioning, has only been talked about in the last episode of the second season untill now. If you remember the round table meeting during the credits, Mare mentionned the woman became very obedient after Kyouhukou's children crawled into her and ate her from the inside out. Of course she was healed after, but it already gave you an idea of what kind of character he is. I'll give you an hint, Entoma isn't the only entomancer in Nazarick, Kyouhukou is another one, but he specialise mostly in only one kind of bug, and he is really good at it. He might not be that strong, but in an enclosed space, he is deadly.
6- Oh, Shalltear could easily ride that bicorne. She is the imbodiment of impurity. She might not have had a man in her life, but she lost her virginity long ago and she is kind of voracious when it comes to lewd stuff. Like she said, she might not like rotting corpse, but even corpse in general aren't out of her strike zone, even heavily maimed and bleeding.
7- To answer your question, when Overlord season 2 was announced, they also announced season 3. We didn't have that long to wait between them, around 3 month. The last episode of season 2 aired the April 3rd 2018 and the first of season 3 aired July 10th 2018.

This episode was mostly ''A day in Nazarick'' vibe. Ainz is trying his best to make it so the NPCs stop working 24/7 and therefore tries to make them take days off.
The other lizardman you saw was Zenberu, not the brother. The brother was also resurrected by Ainz.
The Maid with the gun is called CZ2128 Delta, but calling her CZ, Shizu or Delta is fine. She loves to hug cute things, that's why she was cuddling the penguin Eclair. You'll see more of her in the Holy Kingdom movie.
Albedo lost control of her senses when she saw Ainz pour his love for the NPCs before her, and that lead to what you saw lol. Pretty sure that didn't count as banging, or rather, it would be impossible with Lord Ainz's body! ^_^
There was a lot cut from the novel. Albedo/Shalltear/Aura also went to the gardens and talked to the head chef about ingredients, and they pet a monster called Pandora Rabbit. It was explained that Nazarick was experimenting by letting species of monsters from the outside reside on the 6th floor, as long as they are self sufficient. There was a village built for some lizardmen, and they also have some dryads from a side-story. Mare went on an full on adventure in and out of Nazarick to find Cocytus to give him the Spa invitation after he received it from Pulcinella.
When we saw Lupusregina (red-haired battle maid) in the cafeteria with the other maids, she was practicing one of her pranks, spooking people by appearing behind them while invisible. She was assigned the surveillance of Carne Village at the end of Season 1, and is bored because nothing much is happening there yet.
The 8 edge assassins are mercenary summons that Ainz uses as bodyguards. They are skilled at stealth.
Ainz makes a big deal of his ''slime bath'' idea because as a skeleton, he found it very difficult to wash every corner of his body. So, slimes are perfect since he can resist their corrosive abilities.
At the end, this is a prank of one of his old guildmates. He enjoyed putting traps and gimmicks in Nazarick. One of those was a lion golem that would attack if someone didn't properly wash themselves before entering the bath. I don't know about the ''hairy'' comment from Aura, but Albedo probably transformed into her 2nd form to jump into the bath, hence why we heard loud thuds as she walked. 3 of the guardians possess a ''2nd form'', as it was popular in the game to have a ''final form'' as an ability. Those are Albedo, Sebas & Demiurge.
