Technically the third adamantite ranked adventurer party but I don't blame you at all for leaving that bit out since anyone below adamantite is so weak to Nazarick as to essentially be below notice.
13:15 Right, and Ainz has done that several times. Most notably, when Cocytus suggested sparing the lizardmen, he asked what would be the benefit of that. Basically, how was this a better plan than using their dead bodies for experiments? So Ainz is always open to suggestions, but they have to come with fully-reasoned arguments.
8:30 Ainz out here farming the outlying villages of Re-Estize for XP. Bro can lose his humanity, but he'll never stop being a gamer. 18:00 Floor Guardians: "More than zero humans are surviving. This must be a mistake." Humans: "Too few humans are surviving. They must be planning to genocide us all, so there's no point in running away." I love the different perspectives here.
Few bits of trivia about Death Knights: They're about level 35 and are were considered "tank" pets in video game, designed to take a lot of punishment but not deal very much. They have a pair of passive abilities, the first allows them to survive a single attack that would otherwise have killed them (seen in this episode where the first sniper headshot doesn't kill it), the second ability causes people killed by the Death Knight to come back as "Squire" zombies that are about level 20, if those "Squire" zombies kill anything, they also come back as regular zombies (this is seen in the first season where Momonga sends a Death Knight to kill the soldiers attacking Carne Village).
Nigredo (Darkening), Albedo (Whitening) and Rubedo (Reddening) are three stages of Alchemy! In overlord Nigredo is the older sibling, Albedo is the middle sibling and Rubedo is the younger sibling! Nigredo is mother, Albedo is wife and Rubedo is child/daughter! (It's not a spoiler) Rubedo is the strongest NPC in Nazarik! Edit: the three are from the four stages of Magnum Opus in Alchemy! Fourth is Citrinitas!
good comment so make ads, Nigredo quite mild persona with high compassion to young ones(mother thing), it was mentioned when sebas cleared fingers(and demiurg get some human recourses) to spare from suffer young ones(she and dog maid Pestunia) asked for sparing(Ainz promised grant quick death), and at begining of 4rd season to build academy for children and orphans (unsure if in anime was mentioned petitioner)
27:30 "or did he actually expected this to happen?" I don't know if he knew it would happen, but he expected something like this. That was the point of the previous discussion when he said that things were too easy. He wanted to lure out someone like this who's able to fight against the death knights at least. Ainz has flaws, but the one he does *not* have is arrogance. He always expects the possibility that someone stronger will show up. He was a little negligent at the very beginning, but after Shalltear was brainwashed, he never let his guard down.
It's kind of similar to the first battle with the Kingdom. He didn't use the Cash Shop hourglass immediately to see if anyone strong would attack him while he was casting the spell.
No, he said that things were to easy cause he wanted to fulfill Pestonya and Nigredo request to save as many lives of children as possible. He tried to make difficulty of this war higher to make it harder for guardians to kill everyone in cities they attacked by limiting resources they had to use in attacks. And that's why Cocytus and Aura said that from some cities there were survivors, and these were battles where Ainz was responsible for them. He did this only because he tried to let some people survive and let some children escape.
@@HebbY_ I don't see it that way because he didn't use it as an excuse for letting people go. He just stayed vague about why he left survivors, then we had the flashback about the actual reason which he thought they wouldn't approve. (I'm pretty sure he's wrong about this. The floor guardians would likely see this as a smart move in the 10D-chess he's playing.) But even if the discussion is unrelated, he is still demonstrably cautious about the possible presence of players and world items. He's always wary that something or someone strong would show up at the worst of times.
@@JeromeBellon 1. If Ainz says that something is going according to his plan, that means, some completely unexpected for him bullshit happened. It's fourth season, you should be aware of that already. 2. He did not stay vague, he straight up said that he will answer after battle to give himself some time to think of some kind of bullshit answer. And then, right after that, we were given flashback with Pestonya and Nigredo to show his real motive, why he let those people live. Thats how narration works, in any other instance this flashback would be useless in this place, and Overlord don't have time to use useless flashbacks, they already must cut massive amount of content from books to create comprehensible anime. 3. Yes, he is always vigilant for some kind of player, or some other powerful force in this world, but in this instance, letting those people free, had nothing to do with any scheme to lure anyone, couse then he would have ordered others to do the same. And if in cases of guardians there were survivors, they wouldn't be that surprised that in attacks that Ainz was planning were people that managed to escape. 4. Bonus round. All thing i wrote higher are informations you could deduce from anime itself(maybe minus fact that they cut massive chunk of content to adapt this to anime, but that part should be obvious in my opinion) And now as light novel reader, i can say that in this exact scene in book it was explained in detail that Ainz was doing it only to fulfill request of the two from flashback on the level where other guardians wouldn't find it suspicious. And i could bomb you with other info from novel that was omitted in this scene, that supports points 1 so 3 While i like your way of thinking, and i agree that Ainz supposed to be ready to expect that kind of development to some extent, this is a staple gag in this story, what makes it a little irritating especially when you realize that while Ainz is not a genius he is quite competent, but sometimes he is made to be dumber for laughs. Well sometimes he seriously just have luck and everyone just thinks that it's thanks to is massive intelect XD
@@HebbY_ That's a lot of words that don't say one crutial thing: that his talking about things being "too easy" was in any way related to the survivors. All the points you made are things I know and acknowledged. Point 1 is about the result. When someone shows up, he just suddenly makes up that he knew it was coming. He was a bit surprised, and reacted with the running gag that we all know about. But that was still something he expected to happen at _some_ point. Just not specifically now. So we basically agree on this. Point 2 starts plain wrong. Then you contradict yourself. He did stay vague, precisely as a manner of buying time. Which you admit yourself was his intention at that time. The rest of your point is right as we get his real intention, which is to leave some survivors as discussed with the two who suggested it. No problem, this is hard fact. But it's unrelated to his "too easy" comment. Point 3 is... weird. I never said it was related... Actually, I said the exact opposite. He never mentioned that things being too easy was in any way related to the survivors. He implies it after the facts with his "according to plan" comment (point 1), but that was never his intention during the previous meeting. More exactly the survivors were not meant as a bait. But baiting someone like red dude here (grml... spoilers... can't talk about this too much...) was something he's been trying for a long time. When he went to rescue Shalltear. Most definitely when he made a grand display of super-tier magic. Probably even when they attacked the capital once before and when he baited adventurers into Nazarick. He's always looking for people capable to challenge the strength of Nazarick. Because he's trying to create advantageous conditions when it eventually happens instead of being the one taken flat-footed. But there has not been a single time when he actually knew someone would show up. That's his "too easy" comment. He was *genuinely* wary that nothing like this was happening until then. There are Adamantite class adventurers in the kingdom that are a match for a couple of death knights at least. The fact that they had encountered absolutely no significant resistance was suspicious in his eyes. (We know about Blue Roses, but he likely has precise information on their whereabouts since Renner is known to conspire with Nazarick. Red Drop was apparently off his radar, but he knew about their existence at least.) Point 4 is plain stupid. You're bragging "as a reader" about a point... that was already made clear in the anime. The arrogance of this "bonus point" is misplaced.
The reason why Ainz lost the battle at E-Naeurl at the end of the episode where the Gundam guy appeared, was because it was to appease the NPC's within Nazarick that were against the complete one sided annihilation of innocent citizens in Re-estize like Sebas and Pestonya. So instead of just doing a complete genocide of the entire Kingdom, he intentionally threw the fight by sending a weak and small sized army of undead so that following their own defeat E-Naeurl could be used as a safe passage for innocent citizens to escape the country before it's too late. One of the few measures Ainz took to satisfy some of the NPC's after Nigredo's plea to spare them. If not for them Ainz would've wiped out E-Naeurl as well.
@@lolmode116Strongest singular entity - Rubedo. Strongest Nazarick “Unit” (as in a group of creatures) - 8th floor lads, who can whoop Rubedo, if properly equipped. Now for further explanation: Rubedo slaps all and everyone, even all of the Floor Guardians combined. She is the strongest entity, created by players, this also include any individual player build and any NPC build. 8th floor lads slap all and everyone and this Includes Rubedo. They stopped 1500 players raid on Nazarick (now it’s not clear if Rubedo also took part) without letting anyone escape. 1500 players, most of them lvl 90-100, perished on 8th floor. To be fair, Ainz is hella scared of 8th floor, granted they do follow him and serve under him as anyone else, Ainz fears, that if they rebel, they would just straight up destroy Nazarick and no one can stop them.
Nigredo is an interesting case - when she was first created, the other members of Ainz Ooal Gown mistook her for a boss battle and killed her. She loves babies, and invaders can pacify her by offering her a doll. Once they become toddlers, Nigredo loses interest in them (and would be perfectly happy to kill them), but Pestonia is perfectly happy to take over their care.
In this case, even if you could hit him, that wouldn't necessarily mean much. He has a lot of HP. One attack from a low level warrior won't be enough to kill him, even if wielding a sword that is capable of inflicting damage.
@@Djorgal Even then Ainz said himself that the sword didn't have enough magic to even scratch him, it's more likely a special ability the sword has that can do damage... Except no one from the Kingdom knows how to use the sword's special abilities, most don't even know it has special powers beyond just being very sharp.
in the LN nigredo was already mentioned a couple of time prior up to this point, she was mentioned a couple of times along with dogmaid doing some sus stuff and having been confined for that - going against orders - the others essentially demanded an execution for the two, but that would have been like killing your heal slave in regard to dogmaid, so not very smart idea. in the first encounter with her, they went into detail about her background and setting - e.g. basically being a bunchof horror movie/game tropes - the giant scissors like clocktower, looking like sadako etc. despite appearance she has positive karma, she loves babies. only babies. once old enough no longer loves em and would kill em, they used to have a bunch of cribs in her room, but once the babies were getting to old they had to be moved to the orphanage or such. when entering her room the visitor has to carry a baby doll and hand it to her when she approaches the visitor, if ya dun do that she attacks em. is the kind of background lore that was given to her, and as such she behaves strictly to it. there is a 3rd sister. but we dun talk about her.
@@jorgitosilva there is a 1 or 2 mentions of her in the anime when she and dogmaid were detained and i think it was in season 3 or 4, dun fully rember anymore which was, but yes.
30:35 There are a lot of entities out there in the New World that can at least individually fight Ainz and the Floor Guardians on somewhat of an equal ground. And there are many who can just brush off even hundreds of Death Knights rather easily with barely any difficulty. But Nazarick as a whole, well, you know.
Answering Questions: 8:30 hmm I wonder we suddenly met a strong mech that can take out Death Knights this episode. Ainz hasn't come close to exploring the world so maybe there are still strong people he hasn't met yet? 12:05 Nigredo- the sister of Albedo is in fact one of the few characters with positive Karma (“Aligned with good”). Also this was supposed to be the second time we met her, but her previous appearance in season 1 of Overlord was cut out entirely. We also have had her mentioned in passing a few times a member of the group trying to protect the innocents who Nazarick abducted in season 2, and trying to set up an orphanage. 24:25 Death Knights are lv. 35. And yes it should be possible for a strong adventurer team to beat one. But these are mythril adventurers and are probably a bit too weak. An Orichalcum or Adamantite adventurer team would be different though. 26:53 And you are wrong it is not from Nazarick the mech is a suit worn by a member of the strongest adamantite adventurer team in the Kingdom “drop of Red”, Blue Rose being the other adamantite team in the Re-Estize Kingdom(Who were capable of beating the Pleides Maid Entoma).
they have a couple of mechs in the treasury tho. also is just me maybe, but i dun think that azuth would be strong enough to deal with a death knight on his own, ya know, without the suit.....
Albedo is showing a lot of restraint, you're correct, don't forget the thing she's holding is a World Item and boy oh boy, without her restraint the kingdom would've been gone even before the 1 month period they gave them
Fun Fact: Sisters are all Named after different aspects described in alchemy of our World. albedo (white phase), nigredo (black phase), and rubedo (red phase) which is fitting because i believe their creator tabula was an alchemist as a character.
12:08 The creator of Albedo and her sisters loved horror movies and characters whose personality doesn't match their physical appearance or their actions, and he put that into all of his npc's
Whenever I watch Overlord reactions, there's a couple scenes that I literally just stop and watch the facial reactions of said reactors. Some of these include: Albedo and Shalltear's first fight over Ainz The realization that Mare is a trap Princess Rennar's true face EVERY single scene with Sebas in season 2 Shallchair Couchcytus and one of the last ones in this season, Lilynette and the slow realization of what is going on. And you didn't disappoint Luke, thank you.
Of course the Count is chill, this is nothing compared to babysitting Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness. It's too bad Aqua probably isn't around, she could wreck that entire army if she put in effort.
Luke, we've already heard that they're a guild, but to be strong enough for a single character to take down 2 Death Knights and an army of super-powered undead seems to be sending Ainz the exact message he's been hoping to receive. This seems to scream there are other players left in the game. From his response at the end it seems that his message of "make my message so loud other players will hear it" seem to be baring fruit.
Tabula, Albedo and Nigredo's creator, was known for loving to make character backstories that were paradoxical in nature. Like how Albedo is described to be the perfect housewife however is actually a bitch (until Momonga changed that), Nigredo is designed after classic japanese horror monsters like the Ring movie but then is actually obsessed with taking care of babies.
Do you recall in a prior episode, Albedo mentioned trying to put someone to death for not killing humans during the Yaldabeeoth incident in season 2? This is whom she was pissed at - her sister.
The normal death knight is level 35 and the dual wielding one the death warrior is around level 40. Gazef Stronoff base level was around 30 so with his equipment that could for example nullify tiring he would've easily defeated a lot of death knights if ainz used them against him.
28:00 I think this is not really a mech. It's a magic armor as opposed to technological mech suits. The difference is subtle, even as they look similar. And guns have been part of Yggdrassil for a while. (One of the Pleaides is a gunner. Delta, I think.) (I think a note somewhere explained that guns and gunners were added in a DLC.)
So to understand why Albedo and Nigredo are so different, you'll have to understand Tabula Smaragdina a bit because he's their creator. Each of the guardians are designed with classic tropes of anime and manga in them because their creators were nerds; The twins Aura and Mare are the way they are because their creator was into traps (i.e. boys that look like girls in anime) and so her creations were dressed in the opposite gender of what they were, Shalltear's creator Peroroncino loved Eroge and hentai so Shalltear basically has every single kink out there, Demiurge's creator loved roleplaying villains the most out of everyone in the guild, hence Demi is probably the most sadistic person of all the guardians, Sebas' creator Touch Me loved heros and justice anime thus Sebas is a person who cares about justice and helping people (notice it's sebas who suggested helping Enri's village at the beginning of the anime when they were being attacked), etc etc. So given that info, Tabula's thing was "Gap Moe" or a person's personality being completely different from what their appearance would portray. Albedo has a pristine look, who's color designed is mostly white and she has a beautiful appearance with a gentle face, but on her personality is one of derision and disgust on everyone she deems below her AND originally she would have been a slut, but Ainz changed that to she loves Momonga (in Japan, calling someone a "bitch" has the same connotations as the word "slut"). Nigredo has the appearance of a horror movie antagonist, and is even programmed to run at anyone with her giant scissors who enters the frozen prison, even the guild members, but she's programmed to love babies and wants to take care of them. however this is limited to ONLY babies, once they reach the age of 2 years old she could care less about them and only has cold indifference to anything past that age. The third sister Rubedo we don't have any info on what she looks like or her personality, however she is regarded as THE strongest NPC in Nazarick, even more that Touch Me who was a champion in the game and is Nazarick's secret weapon.
@@theculturedgentleman3699 it's definitely one of the reasons i love overlord (as seen from my profile pic). every aspect of it is very well thought out. Maybe not on the level of One Piece but you can tell there was a lot of thought and love put into this story
Drop of red was mentioned earlier in the series as the other Adamantite team in the Re-Esteeze Kingdom (Blue Roses, Drop of Red and Momon + Nabe being team darkness
16:10 "I see..." Right, it's sometimes difficult to realize when a scene is a flashback. And for once, Ainz letting some humans run away was actually a plan, not a mistake.
21:59 I was scared😨 to the bone when this Death☠️-Knight show up because I thought it was The Hamster 🐹 training partner. Because that Death-Knight actually gain a conscious because he hangouts a lot with living beings and made a lot of progress. Then I was relieved after I read the comments on that video and realized this was just some random Death-Knight that was out there 😂
I touched on the topic of Albedo's sisters back in S1 or 2. Nigredo, the First stage of Alchemical processing to create the Philosopher's Stone. Represents blackening or putrifaction...literally rotting. Albedo, is the 2nd stage, the Whitening or Purification. Citrinitas is the 3rd stage, Crystallization or the Yellowing, and in it, the ingredients are crystallized, solidified. Think of this like salt, sugar, or quartz form. They have crystalline forms and are dense and solid. Finally, Rubedo. The reddening or Perfection. Think of this like polishing a diamond to perfectly refract light. This stage is when the final Philosopher's Stone is formed. Many Alchemists view this entire process as not a Chemical one, but instead, believe it refers to perfection of the Soul. Kinda like reaching Nirvana or Zen. You are mentally and spiritually perfect. Tabula Smaragdina's (Albedo and her sisters' Creator) name translates to the Emerald Tablet, which is a real-life book of knowledge pertaining to Alchemy. The Player by that name, was very interested in Alchemy, and so his creations reflect that interest. Coincidentally, you can read translated copies of that book specifically, today. On another note, you are correct about that female adventurer. She is VERY SUS. SHE is what's known as a Shotacon. She is attracted to young (read: underage) boys. 🤢
12:07 The creator of Albedo and Nigredo (as well as Rubedo), Tabula Smaragdina, liked gap moe characters who are basically characters whose looks and actual personalities contradict each other. In this case, Albedo looks absolutely stunning on the outside but on the inside she is a cold, ruthless, and evil towards many people, and wouldn't even hesitate to plan an elimination of even the Supreme Beings if that gets her what she wants (in this case it is all about Ainz). Nigredo on the other hand looks absolutely horrifying, missing the skin of her face and holds the giant scissors, but on the inside she actually has somewhat of a caring personality, at the very least to babies from the age of 1 to 2, or 3 (I forgot how many actually).
It’s not that those boosting spells don’t work, it’s just that they’re always casted in unfortunate encounters where the power gap is worlds apart to actually do anything
08:30 Ainz Ooal Gown (originally Nine's Own Goal) the guild was not one of the top because they were complacent. :-) 10:30 That's a flashback if it was not clear, Ainz was looking for an excuse to fulfill Nigredo and Pestonia's request. You can see Pestonia standing in the background in previous scene. Both NPCs are compelled to protect children. 27:30 Red Drop/Drop of Red is one of the Adamantite adventurer teams mentioned in previous seasons. More will be revealed in the next episode.
ainz seems able to summon essentially all archtype of adventurers as undead version - "death" version - e.g. death warrior, death priest, death assassin, etc there were a couple of mentions of those patrolling e-rantel, the assassin version cant be used for assassin work tho, just hyper crit glasscannon tho, but ya thats basically where the death warrior version stems from in this episode. no idea if its like a unique spell per class or if they all come from the same spell that can be modified to summon different versions as needed. they seem to follow the same rules as a death knight, in that they are permanent if used with a corps and only temporary and will disappear after a set amount of time without it.
when ainz says its already 1 month since declared war - it means its already 2 months since the scene with albedo in the throne room. they are already waging war for 1 month at the kingdom. slowly murder hoboing their way up north along the east side of the kingdom testing out different methods on how to siege cities and towns and how to defeat large groups etc, letting the various npcs collect experience on how to conduct themself as officers of armies etc that kind of stuff. how to do cost effective etc. ainz also had several battles, where the others always nuked everyone on his end some ppl always would manage to escape and he was accidentally slowly corralling em up north to that sea town... this was partially duo to him being incompetent, only using very little of nazaricks forces and duo to his promise to pestonya and nigredo....
@@farhannaik6854 no they 100% stayed true to what they said, they were just so effective at taking everyone out along the way no news of them fighting ever reached the kingdom.
There's another reason why Ainz is waging war against the kingdom other than the NPC's essentially talking him into it 😅 it's that it turned out to be an opportunity to give the NPC's valuable experience in warfare incase a powerful guild rivaling Nazarick in strength appeared. So Re-estize has sadly become nothing but target practice 😂😂 this is definitely cruel but the reason Ainz doesn't care is that he simply couldn't care less about the people in the Kingdom. They're meaningless to him so he feels nothing knowing they're all about to be slaughtered 💀
The Death Knights are currently level 35, the Pleiades around 46-61 and the Lizardman around 20. Ainz and the floor guardians are the few level 100 in Nazarick. The 'Heroes' on this world, as Stronoff, was lvl 30 at max.
Like I said elsewhere, Evil Eye does not get enough credit for taking down Entoma. Entoma is on the weaker side but just being able to take out one of the Pleiades without the help of an item is pretty clear evidence that she's one of the strongest people in the New World.
@@bemusedbandersnatch2069 tbh she did kinda spam that vermin bane spell which is like a perfect counter of entoma's species plus 3 of em jumped entoma CZ is around the same lvl or maybe even lower than entoma but she would stomp evil eye
@@kcknowshowtoplay4302 that really doesn't make it any less impressive. take this episode for example: a whole slew of adventurers vs. one death knight (before the other got involved). They hit that bastard with a massive fire ball and a light spell cast by a holy magic user, either of which should've been an undeads weaknesses neither of which had any real effect. And death knights are much weaker and stupider than Entoma. Evil Eye definitely got a little lucky, but the fact that it worked at all much less defeated Entoma is a testament to what a badass Evil eye is.
Ainz is build to be role-play necromancer so he has all perks that strengthen his undead, that's why his Death Kinghts are way stronger then normal 35 lvl. They should be in strength close to lvl 40, but if those Death Knights are summoned by Pandoras Actor(in novel is said that he changes into Ainz and then summons them) then the are indeed lvl 35 in strength
Oh, one thing I forgot to mention. The way those zonmbies are created. 1. Death Knight kills people, they become Death Squires. 2. Death Squires kills people, they become zombies. This is why in the New World, Death Knights are considered a potential kingdom ending threat when they appear naturally, one at a time. And Ainz? Well, he has a lot of Death Knights.
Nigredo and Albedo are states of alchemical transmutation when searching for the philosopher's stone ... the 1st and 2nd steps.. the 3rd and 4rth are citrinitas and rubedo In Nazarick there are few characters with positive karma (good guys).. 3 of them are in that room with Ainz (Nigredo is there because she disobeyed order IIRC)
Death Warriors and the Death Knight next door are equipped with all kinds of different weapons in their arsenal to use to arm themselves in battle. Such weapons are said to include handaxes, maces, shafts, whips, short spears, I know, and many other similar weapons. Based on the aforementioned weapons that have already been described from the list, the Dead Warriors are most likely suited for mid to close combat. They are as powerful as the Death Knights. Some appear to be two-handed, and interestingly, weapons thrown at their target can be magically recalled, reappearing in their hands. They are level 35 undead summons from YGGDRASIL . In the New World, they become one of the pillars of Ainz's growing military power.
10:42 Here it is, now I can talk about something I wanted to talk about for quite some time. Nigredo and her little sister Albedo were both created by Tabula Smaragdina. Their name, also meaning the emeral tablet, refers to a ancient and cryptic alchemy script. Alchemist also associated this tablet with the legendary Philosophers stone and turning stuff into gold. I explained this so you can see Tabula is at least interested in alchemy and stuff like that. Now, lets talk about Albedo and Nigredo. Their names, like the name of their creator, refer to some alchemy stuff. Originally to create the philosophers stone, there was said to be 4 steps. They are, in order, Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas and Rubedo. So Tabula, who's name refer to something that is supposed to teach how to make the philosophers stone, named their creations after the proccess of creating the stone. Nigredo and Albedo respectively means blackening and whitening which also reflect onto the dominant colours in their desing. Now, however, one might wonder. There are 4 steps but only 2 characters. Well, I will talk about it but it hasnt even been referenced in anime, altough it was talked about a long time ago in the novels. I will talk about it in a seperate part so thoose who want to stay anime only have a choice. 10:58 the reason Nigredo is in house arrest is because she disobeyed Ainz and didnt kill some children when Jaldaboth attacked the kingdom. 12:00 Tabula loved "gap moe" basically having a completely different personality than how one looks. Albedo looking like an angel but being a "slut" (originally). Nigredo being a terrifying horror movie character but being, sort of okay, lets say. Also Nigredo has a whole ass horror game cutsene where when you enter her room, you find her sulking in a corner and then she dashes at you screaming that you stole her baby. 12:10 nah she only values humans upto age 2 ish. After that she really doesnt care about them. 26:03 This shot actually "killed" the Death Knight. However because of their ability to survive lethal damage with 1 hp it needed a 2nd shot **NOW I WILL TALK ABOUT WHAT I MENTIONED BEFORE. we know this in the novels at this point but be warned** So 4 names, 2 sisters, right? Wrong. Albedo has a very cryptic little sister named after the final step of the process; Rubedo, meaning the reddening. Why did I call her cryptic? Because even in the novels there is probably no more than 10 lines talking about her. We know she is created through different means compared to other NPCs and is something like a golem or automaton. She is also said to be the strongest NPC in Nazarick, capable of beating a fully armed Touch-me (although it was said that this was a counter situation like Ainz vs Shalltear. Also the author said Ainz could beat Rubedo). It is said that if given world items, residents of the 8th floor, strongest force of Nazarick, could also beat her. 8th floor is a different matter altogether so I will not talk about it.
Albedo and Nigrendo actually derive their names from alchemical principles (most people are only familiar with the term albedo from astronomy). Nigrendo is the first procedure,, that of putrefaction, or "blackening." Albedo is the second procedure, of purification of the putrefied matter. or "whitening." Now consider that Albedo is a succubus, and consider the nature of her sister. Nigrendo is often kept secired in a locked room because of her nature and oracles.
Without spoiling too much, I'll say that the one in the mech is indeed not affiliated with Nazarick. The next couple of episodes are going to be quite interesting!
If you go back to season one, Clementine mentions four people she believes are stronger than she is. Gazef, Brain, one person from Blue Rose (Evil Eye), and one person from Drop of Red. You've just met the person from adamantite adventurer party Drop of Red.
Albedo’s sister reminds me of a combo of 2 HxH characters. Gloomy creepy woman combined scissors weapon. And might even be the same voice actress as what’s her name from HxH.
11:01 Albedo explains this on the first episode of this season. Nigredo tried to protect and spare the human children that Demiurge abducted together with other human adults during the attack on the Re-Estize capital at the end of Season 2. Apparently they had been ordered to kill all the abducted humans eventually to prevent Nazarick's secret from leaking, but Nigredo defied orders, and was therefore punished. 27:35 How could you possibly doubt Lord Ainz Ooal Gown who sees 10 thousand years in the future? 30:17 What about Evil Eye vs Entoma in Season 2? Remember? Entoma is certainly way stronger than Death Knights. Also, Fluder Paradyne was trying to take control of a Death Knight with a sixth-tier spell in Season 3 when they showed him in that building where they were researching magic and the undead in the Baharuth Empire.
Albedo's creator had a thing for Alchemy. His creations are named after the Magnus Opus of Alchemy. nigredo, the blackening or melanosis. breaking down matter albedo, the whitening or leucosis. purification/separating elements. citrinitas, the yellowing or xanthosis. Awakening of light. rubedo, the reddening, purpling, or iosis. The Philosopher Stone.
Remember Ains has been expecting pushback of a stronger foe with world items. You have just met what he was expecting to appear in the void of that lack of power in the world. All power exists with balance. Consider the possibility that Ains is the balance to a previous existing imbalance in said power there.
I expected luke will gonna upload 2 episodes considering he missed to upload last night 😅😂 but well at least we got s4 ep. 9 reaction. We love you luke!
Death Knights, while having massive bodies, are extremely fast and are able to gain enough momentum to use their bodies, along with their tower shield, to act as a living battering ram. Their physical strength along with their weapon can cut through any unfortunate medium that comes their way. Death Knights have two very important special abilities. The first is the ability to draw the hatred/aggression of those disturbed by the Death Knight's appearance to attack him. The second can only be used once when hit, but allows the Death Knight to always survive a lethal attack as long as a certain amount of HP remains. In other words, a Death Knight can survive anything fatal with 1 HP left, regardless of the types of attacks thrown at it, no more than once. Due to these two special abilities, a Death Knight is often used as a flesh shield by their summoner to protect themselves from all harm. However, Death Knights are closely estimated to be level 35 monsters, as they have both the attack power of a level 25 and the defense power of a level 40. they will probably be above level 45 themselves. Additionally, once a Death Knight manages to kill their intended target, that corpse will later turn into an undead. For those killed by a Death Knight, their body is said to return as a level 17 Squire Zombie, the type estimated to be half the level of a Death Knight. However, there is a limit to the number of Squire Zombies that can be created at a time. Which can be particularly frightening in terms of the Knight's ability. There is no limit to how many regular zombies can be created by Squire Zombies. However, zombies will revert to regular corpses if a Death Knight is to be destroyed first. A death knight is equivalent to a country's military strength
24:24 : No, they're not level 47. Death knights are level 35 with high defense and low attack. But, yeah they are opponents that good adventurers can deal with. Here we're seeing a Mithril ranked party holding their own against one. Mithril ranked adventurers are around level 22. The adaptability of adventurers, the synergy of a good party and enchanted gear means they can punch up. Death knight are too rigid, they take long to go down, but they eventually would. Wizards who can cast Fly magic (3rd tier, so around mithril rank) can even deal with one safely because a death knight can't fly. But here, the adventurers have to protect the city, they can just let it run amok while they shower it with spells from above. Level 47 would start to approach Nazarick's maids, as well as Evileye. Those range from around lvl 50 to 60. It would certainly take at least adamantite ranked adventurers to go against anything around lvl 47, and that could be a hard fight.
Notice the personalities. Albedo is a insane lunatic and doesn’t like huamsna don is racist. Rebedo is really kind and is really thoughtful and doesn’t like violence
There are 3 adamantine rank groups in the kingdom. Blue Rose is a group of all girls, we have already seen them. Darkness - Momon and Nabe. And the Red Drop is what we saw now. We haven't seen them because they operate in the northern part of the kingdom. P.S. Ainz naturally...didn’t know anything.
12:07 Nigredo is based off horror movies. The person who made her was a fan of them and also likes contradictory characters. Like how Albedo is Pretty on the outside but a B*tch on the inside. Nigredo is horrifying but values life (at least the babies).
Curiously, Albedo's sister is the one who finds Shalltear when she was brainwashed but the anime omitted that. Also, Albedo's other sister (the one who has not even appeared in the novel yet) is actually the most powerful being not only in Nazarick but in the entire world in general.🤓
the plan was to go ez on them a lot like the lizard men by haveing two death knight and a lot of low bone summing. ainz is playing it off as he know lol
Well, that red suit is technically not a mech, it's a power armor. And yes, logically one would conclude that it originates in YGGDRASIL and likely came into this world some centuries prior like so many other powerful artifacts.
Yes, Albedo has two sisters-Nigredo (the eldest) and Rubedo (the youngest). Rubedo is the strongest entity in Nazarick, so powerful that neither the Floor Guardians nor any of the 41 Supreme Beings, including Touch Me, can defeat her in a one-on-one fight. All three sisters were created by the Supreme Being Tabula Smaragdina-sama, whose name is based on the "Emerald Tablet" (Tabula Smaragdina), which contains the instructions for making the Philosopher's Stone. Tabula Smaragdina-sama, a Magic/Occult Otaku, named the sisters after the first three primary stages of creating a Philosopher's Stone: Nigredo (the Blackness/Blackening; stage 1), Albedo (Whiteness/Whitening; stage 2), and Rubedo (the Redness/Reddening; stage 3). Nigredo and Rubedo are casualties of cut content. Nigredo should have been included from Season 1’s The Bloody Valkyrie Arc because Ainz had Nigredo use surveillance magic to find Shalltear after she had been brainwashed. However, the anime skipped this and cut directly to Ainz and Albedo locating Shalltear immediately in the forest clearing. Additionally, it was later revealed that during Demiurge’s first attack on the Kingdom as Jaldabaoth, when he kidnapped citizens, Nigredo and Pestonya practically rebelled in an attempt to save the captured children due to their character backgrounds. This was also cut from the anime. Their punishment for this rebellion, which was also omitted, was house arrest in the Mansion of the Frozen Prison, which should have been mentioned during Season 3’s Tomb Invader arc. There's a bunch of other small one off mentions in other volumes too. Nigredo's design is heavily influenced by "Gap Moe," making her a hybrid of extreme contradictions. She is motherly and loves infants, desiring their protection and care as the perfect mother. However, once they move from infancy to toddlerhood, she loses all interest. Physically, she resembles a horror movie trope, and her character background includes a willingness to use her giant scissors to cut down anyone who enters her domain unless they are carrying a crying baby. In this sense, she is the ultimate caring mother (to babies), while Albedo is the ultimate supportive wife. Therefore, Rubedo would likely be the ultimate obedient daughter.
Correction* Albedo hasn't killed Philip...yet. Pretty sure the anime skipped that content, but the novel really laid out just how much of Albedo's wrath Philip incurred. If I recall, it wasnt a quick death either.
So about Nigredo: No she did not cut off her own face, its never specified what type of Heteromorphic race she is, but apparently it looks like a humanoid with a skinless face. She was created by Tabula Smaragdina, who loves "contradicting" characters. (visually ugly or scary = Good personality, Beautiful visually = Terrible personality.) As such, Albedo looks divine, but is extremely evil and sadistic. While Nigredo looks scary, but actually has a positive karma value and gets along with humans. They cut this out of the anime, but her original appearance was in a trapped room where she would be next to a baby's, cradle. You could only enter the room while holding a baby doll. So the moment you enter she would look into the empty cradle and scream her child is gone, to then look accusingly at the one holding the baby doll, opening the attack while countless baby shaped monsters would crawl out of the walls to attack as well. (Tabula apparently loved setting up scripted events to scare the living daylights out of invaders or even just his Guildmates) The event stops if you just hand her the doll, after which she will start acting normally. Due to this background story she was given, she is especially focused on protecting and saving infants. She will care about grown humans too, but will not be as protective towards them. This is incidentally also why she and Pestonia were locked up in the Frozen Prison. During the Demon attack on the city, Nigredo (who has the best divination/observation skills) used her power and worked together with Pestonia to save some children from being killed/taken to Demiurge's Happy Farm. As this was against Ainz's orders, they were put under house arrest. Ainz did not want to do that at first, but the other guardians, specifically Albedo, insisted they would be punished for defying their ruler's orders.
I don't think you noticed, but its pretty obviously a bluff from Ainz at the end. He started off the episode not being able to give a "smart" answer to the Guardians about letting a few humans escape, and so mysteriously said "wait and see" to give the problem to "future Ainz". So now, "wait and see" has coincidently turned into a new unknown enemy of Nazarick, and the Guardian's all think it was all part of Ainz's plan from earlier, so he has to take responsibility while being wtf inside. Hilariously it is sorta indirectly Ainz's fault too, since the mech only noticed Ainz's invasion and went to kill the death knights "because" Ainz had recently started letting a few survivors go.
tabula smaragdina loved reversed things, so albedo looks like a angel but got a cursed personality, and nigredo looks like a devil but is one of the kindest people in nazarick
8:40 While it's very probably that there isn't others players around, I think it can still be a valid possibility. For a fact, they don't know the real size of the current world, and their "world map" doesn't show much other than the region they live in. So if their "world map" is actually only showing a country like, say Japan, then there would still be a lot out there to explore, and could explain why there's no signs of other players around.
So Luke, look to the right of him as he is talking. Pestoniya (The Dog Maid) is standing there next to him. There will be an explanation about that in a moment. As a reminder to Luke - This is a world and he is unfamiliar with what is there other than finding some items from Ygdrassil there and magic similar to what he is familiar with. Hence he is being cautious. In a PvP fight, you don't show off everything. So this is why he is staying cautious. Both Nigredo and Pestoniya were put in the frozen prison for what happen AFTER thei 'demon event' in Re-esties. So as a reminder - The demon event in Re-esties, Nazarick abducted a portion of the population. Which included kids. The plan was to execute those people. Pestoniya and Nigredo did not want to children to die. This talk took place BEFORE the meeting, hence why Pestoniya was next to him in the meeting. His cough was him realizing he had to change some of their thinking. Some of the floor guardians are rather extreme in their thinking as noted earlier. The lady in the Armor is the leader of a Mithril Class Adventurer team, Four Arms. As for why the guy is so chill, I think he is pretty much resolved death is coming. Or the fact that like most of the world, their understanding of scale is of issue all around. BTW, that 'priestess' is a true shota (little boy) perv. Luke - You are incorrect, this is one of the world's Adamantite Adventurers. Drop of Red is NOT one of Ains' people.
Also, still hoping Luke will eventually pause and freeze on the first frame of the OP for this season. It's not Voracity but it's a cool shot of the members of Ainz Ooal Gown.

She's not chill, she was '' made '' after horror movies, so if you give her a baby after some time she will kill it. I don't remember all of you.
16:10 "Yup,I'm sure my future self will take care of it"
Ainz just like me fr.
😂
Drop of red was actually mentioned in season 2 as the 3rd adventurer party in the kingdom but we never saw any of their members until now.
This must be a mistake."
Humans: "Too few humans are surviving. They must be planning to genocide us all, so there's no point in running away."
I love the different perspectives here.
😂
Few bits of trivia about Death Knights:
They're about level 35 and are were considered "tank" pets in video game, designed to take a lot of punishment but not deal very much.
Of making a Philosopher's Stone specifically
I don't remember them ever mentioning Rubedo in the anime but she doesn't do much in the books either lol
good comment so make ads, Nigredo quite mild persona with high compassion to young ones(mother thing), it was mentioned when sebas cleared fingers(and demiurg get some human recourses) to spare from suffer young ones(she and dog maid Pestunia) asked for sparing(Ainz promised grant quick death), and at begining of 4rd season to build academy for children and orphans (unsure if in anime was mentioned petitioner)
And their creator was Tabula Smaragdina the alchemist which is a reference to the 3 stages of alchemy the Emerald Tablet or the Smaragdine Table
@@mohajisya I forgot to mention that!
27:30 "or did he actually expected this to happen?"
I don't know if he knew it would happen, but he expected something like this.
The floor guardians would likely see this as a smart move in the 10D-chess he's playing.)
But even if the discussion is unrelated, he is still demonstrably cautious about the possible presence of players and world items. He's always wary that something or someone strong would show up at the worst of times.
@@JeromeBellon
And i could bomb you with other info from novel that was omitted in this scene, that supports points 1 so 3
While i like your way of thinking, and i agree that Ainz supposed to be ready to expect that kind of development to some extent, this is a staple gag in this story, what makes it a little irritating especially when you realize that while Ainz is not a genius he is quite competent, but sometimes he is made to be dumber for laughs.
Red Drop was apparently off his radar, but he knew about their existence at least.)
Point 4 is plain stupid.
Fun fact: the strongest unit in the nazarick is in the 8th floor.
Who?
rubedo
@@lolmode116Strongest singular entity - Rubedo.
Strongest Nazarick “Unit” (as in a group of creatures) - 8th floor lads, who can whoop Rubedo, if properly equipped.
Now for further explanation:
Rubedo slaps all and everyone, even all of the Floor Guardians combined.
@@albuspercivalwulfricbriand5363The 8th floor is more loyal than any, it’s used for ainz as a safe spot if the rest of nazarick revolts.
first rubedo ? any relation to albedo ?
second what kind of species are they
Nigredo is an interesting case - when she was first created, the other members of Ainz Ooal Gown mistook her for a boss battle and killed her. She loves babies, and invaders can pacify her by offering her a doll. Once they become toddlers, Nigredo loses interest in them (and would be perfectly happy to kill them), but Pestonia is perfectly happy to take over their care.
It was that they got scared and attacked her
04:35 "But the blade didn't reach him."
Basic concept, pretty frequent in anime.
It doesn't matter how strong you are if you can't hit your opponent.
Yep... ask Darkness
just like when you put all your stats into strength without putting any on speed/accuracy stats
😳
in the LN nigredo was already mentioned a couple of time prior up to this point, she was mentioned a couple of times along with dogmaid doing some sus stuff and having been confined for that - going against orders - the others essentially demanded an execution for the two, but that would have been like killing your heal slave in regard to dogmaid, so not very smart idea.
in the first encounter with her, they went into detail about her background and setting - e.g. basically being a bunchof horror movie/game tropes - the giant scissors like clocktower, looking like sadako etc.
despite appearance she has positive karma, she loves babies. only babies. once old enough no longer loves em and would kill em, they used to have a bunch of cribs in her room, but once the babies were getting to old they had to be moved to the orphanage or such.
when entering her room the visitor has to carry a baby doll and hand it to her when she approaches the visitor, if ya dun do that she attacks em. is the kind of background lore that was given to her, and as such she behaves strictly to it.
there is a 3rd sister. but we dun talk about her.
In the anime i think she was mentioned once too... like last episode or the one before that...
@@jorgitosilva there is a 1 or 2 mentions of her in the anime when she and dogmaid were detained and i think it was in season 3 or 4, dun fully rember anymore which was, but yes.
😳😳
The ball that is on top her weapon, btw that’s a world class item, moves on its own, so she wasn’t moving it around when talking to the king
Answering Questions:
8:30 hmm I wonder we suddenly met a strong mech that can take out Death Knights this episode.
We don’t know if Nigredo has positive karma, and seeing that she sees people past the age of 3 as sacks out meat to be disposed of, I doubt she is
they have a couple of mechs in the treasury tho.
also is just me maybe, but i dun think that azuth would be strong enough to deal with a death knight on his own, ya know, without the suit.....
It's all according to the plan, THAT plan!!
Yeah Luke, you know, THE plan.
THE PLAN! 💀👌
Some of these include:
Albedo and Shalltear's first fight over Ainz
The realization that Mare is a trap
Princess Rennar's true face
EVERY single scene with Sebas in season 2
Shallchair
Couchcytus
and one of the last ones in this season, Lilynette and the slow realization of what is going on.
Nigredo loves babies. Only babies. Any older and she couldn’t care less. A holdover from her days as a puzzle boss in YGDRASSIL.
🤔
Tabula, Albedo and Nigredo's creator, was known for loving to make character backstories that were paradoxical in nature. Like how Albedo is described to be the perfect housewife however is actually a bitch (until Momonga changed that), Nigredo is designed after classic japanese horror monsters like the Ring movie but then is actually obsessed with taking care of babies.
good thing that momonga changed albedo setting because if he didn't.. albedo would become a slut in the new world 🤣
Do you recall in a prior episode, Albedo mentioned trying to put someone to death for not killing humans during the Yaldabeeoth incident in season 2? This is whom she was pissed at - her sister.
FINALLY! Best girl, and Albedos sister, has finally been introduced!
Let there be scissors!
Delta, I think.)
(I think a note somewhere explained that guns and gunners were added in a DLC.)
20:41 Yes. She is after "shota" THE YOUNGEST son. 😂😂
bro, just say she's a pedo
Even in the Overlord universe young boys cannot escape the clergy.

I was laughing so hard I started to cry at that scene. 🤣
And this is the reason i chose nigredo pestonya and cocytus when you asked who I'd chill with amongst nazarick NPCs

@@MifuneTakumi45 😮 oh!
Nigredo is a terrible pick if you arent an infant
I think I love the guardians u mentioned even more knowing this :)
@@theculturedgentleman3699 it's definitely one of the reasons i love overlord (as seen from my profile pic). every aspect of it is very well thought out. Maybe not on the level of One Piece but you can tell there was a lot of thought and love put into this story
@@supereece1337 I 1000% agree!
You know it's a good episode when it turns Luke into an owl.
Drop of red was mentioned earlier in the series as the other Adamantite team in the Re-Esteeze Kingdom (Blue Roses, Drop of Red and Momon + Nabe being team darkness
People like the drop of red adventurer and the people who controlled shaltear are the reason Ainz is so cautious.
16:10 "I see..."
Right, it's sometimes difficult to realize when a scene is a flashback.
Death Knight: Level 35 (45 defense, 25 offense) those adventurers were Level 23 max
10:30 That's a flashback if it was not clear, Ainz was looking for an excuse to fulfill Nigredo and Pestonia's request. You can see Pestonia standing in the background in previous scene. Both NPCs are compelled to protect children.
27:30 Red Drop/Drop of Red is one of the Adamantite adventurer teams mentioned in previous seasons. More will be revealed in the next episode.
20:55 Suddenly, the whole crowd finds her super-sus.
ainz seems able to summon essentially all archtype of adventurers as undead version - "death" version - e.g. death warrior, death priest, death assassin, etc
there were a couple of mentions of those patrolling e-rantel, the assassin version cant be used for assassin work tho, just hyper crit glasscannon tho, but ya thats basically where the death warrior version stems from in this episode.
no idea if its like a unique spell per class or if they all come from the same spell that can be modified to summon different versions as needed.
they seem to follow the same rules as a death knight, in that they are permanent if used with a corps and only temporary and will disappear after a set amount of time without it.
when ainz says its already 1 month since declared war - it means its already 2 months since the scene with albedo in the throne room. they are already waging war for 1 month at the kingdom. slowly murder hoboing their way up north along the east side of the kingdom testing out different methods on how to siege cities and towns and how to defeat large groups etc, letting the various npcs collect experience on how to conduct themself as officers of armies etc that kind of stuff. how to do cost effective etc.
ainz also had several battles, where the others always nuked everyone on his end some ppl always would manage to escape and he was accidentally slowly corralling em up north to that sea town...
this was partially duo to him being incompetent, only using very little of nazaricks forces and duo to his promise to pestonya and nigredo....
Iirc,This is slightly wrong this was 1 month after the scene with albedo. Ainz just lied to the kingdom cause why the hell would you say the truth.
@@farhannaik6854 no they 100% stayed true to what they said, they were just so effective at taking everyone out along the way no news of them fighting ever reached the kingdom.
19:08 There is joke to be made here about the girl being after the dude's family heirlooms.
But since I'm a decent man, I can't really think of one. 😁
@@bemusedbandersnatch2069 tbh she did kinda spam that vermin bane spell which is like a perfect counter of entoma's species plus 3 of em jumped entoma
CZ is around the same lvl or maybe even lower than entoma but she would stomp evil eye
@@HebbY_ PA can still strengthen them, he was just told not to use those abilites in another event
Nigredo and Albedo are states of alchemical transmutation when searching for the philosopher's stone ... the 1st and 2nd steps.. the 3rd and 4rth are citrinitas and rubedo
In Nazarick there are few characters with positive karma (good guys)..
However because of their ability to survive lethal damage with 1 hp it needed a 2nd shot
**NOW I WILL TALK ABOUT WHAT I MENTIONED BEFORE. we know this in the novels at this point but be warned**
So 4 names, 2 sisters, right?
It's like albedo is beauty on the outside but ugly inside, and nigredo is like albedo but reverse
Fun Fact: Rubedo also has another "special" sister...
You mean rubedo is the other sister ?
@@zexil1761... probably?
@@zexil1761 Albedo, Nigredo, Rubedo
@@filipe_paixao what am confused on is why are you saying rubedo not albedo
Well ... you're not wrong. Rubedo does have more than one sister.
Nigrendo is often kept secired in a locked room because of her nature and oracles.
ahahahahahahahaha, your face when you heard she knew the age of some Nobleman's third son :D:D:D:D
Personality > Looks
About the red guy at the end... Ainz is such a lucky guy, you will understand in next episode xD
Albedo's creator had a thing for Alchemy. His creations are named after the Magnus Opus of Alchemy.
nigredo, the blackening or melanosis. breaking down matter
albedo, the whitening or leucosis. purification/separating elements.
citrinitas, the yellowing or xanthosis.
That whole room Ainz is with, with Sebas are prob the nicest people in Nazerick
"There's nothing stronger than you guys", if only you knew how ainz even got there
Rubedo and Nigredo are Albedos sisters, but we known nothing about Rubedo, only that shes strong
Well luke, that Red mecha who is part of the group called Drop of red (Adamantite Adventurers) is Evil eye's *****
You'll know it next episode..
Ainz ready to throw the fight 😂
But here we are , as expected of the plan.
The plot thicken.
Of course Ainz was expecting it, he is 10000 steps ahead of everyone
12:07 Nigredo is based off horror movies. The person who made her was a fan of them and also likes contradictory characters. Like how Albedo is Pretty on the outside but a B*tch on the inside. Nigredo is horrifying but values life (at least the babies).
Curiously, Albedo's sister is the one who finds Shalltear when she was brainwashed but the anime omitted that. Also, Albedo's other sister (the one who has not even appeared in the novel yet) is actually the most powerful being not only in Nazarick but in the entire world in general.🤓
The guy with the suit is obviously Iron Man & his guild is The Avengers. This is the Overlord/Marvel crossover arc!
20:51 in the LN. Themen ho wanted lilynetta werent disgusted with her, but dissapointed because they knew at that point they could never be with het.
the plan was to go ez on them a lot like the lizard men by haveing two death knight and a lot of low bone summing. ainz is playing it off as he know lol
20:42 yea the nun is in fact a PDF file
Correction* Albedo hasn't killed Philip...yet. Pretty sure the anime skipped that content, but the novel really laid out just how much of Albedo's wrath Philip incurred. If I recall, it wasnt a quick death either.
your reactions are priceless man....
can we agreed that the kid that the nun is after, is the luckiest kid in this world?
So about Nigredo:
No she did not cut off her own face, its never specified what type of Heteromorphic race she is, but apparently it looks like a humanoid with a skinless face.
She was created by Tabula Smaragdina, who loves "contradicting" characters. (visually ugly or scary = Good personality, Beautiful visually = Terrible personality.)
As such, Albedo looks divine, but is extremely evil and sadistic.
(Tabula apparently loved setting up scripted events to scare the living daylights out of invaders or even just his Guildmates)
The event stops if you just hand her the doll, after which she will start acting normally.
18:30 priest o/nesan~~ I'm gonna ring my alarm!.
death knight are lvl 35, they are specked for defense so they have defensive ability of a lvl 40 character
20:58 now imagine, that the male adventure saying this things
27:50 i mean we have allrdy a maid with an machine gun, and poweranger heros... so why not some mecha as well?
Drop of Red is NOT one of Ains' people.
if you wanna know what rubedo looks like just imagine an albedo but smaller and like 16 years old with red hair that is rubedo
About "having a better plan" sometimes inaction is the better plan.
What do you mean Ainz is bluffing?!? Of course he planned everything from the beginning, to show the other guardians!
The whole fighting scene was so much more epic in the light novel.
Also, still hoping Luke will eventually pause and freeze on the first frame of the OP for this season. It's not Voracity but it's a cool shot of the members of Ainz Ooal Gown.
