This was such a fun video to watch and it’s great to see your wife bottle hunting with you! Thank you Brandon for sharing this video bringing us along! 😃
Great video always heartbreakers broken bottles but still great finds. 👍 my partner digs with me so I know how great it is to have the same hobbie glad I found your channel.
Hello from Knoxville Tennessee. It looked like a fun day with some good finds. I also need to get a pair of those waders like your wife’s. Have a great week and find a lot of bottles.
You guys have the clearest water! I live in Massachusetts and the rivers and creeks around here are all brown or rust colored. Years of paper mills dumping chemicals in them and the high iron content. If I had the clear creeks like you guys I'd never leave, and my girls would likely live in it. We have lots of treasures in our rivers but when you can't even see the bottom, or your hand in 6 inches of water, then it isn't worth the dangers of large chunks of iron or metal or getting caught up in something.
Nice finds once again Brandon! My remedy for damaged bottles (like ur cool flask) is Krylons clear glaze. Just be sure to use it outside cause it stinks!!! Rock on 🤘
Great video brandon. An congrats on all your finds this time out. Hay,maybe sometime soon if you haven't already, take a road trip down to Nick's. An do a video on him showing how he cuts down the bottles an makes them into the drinking glasses an shot glasses. I'm sure that would be awesome video for everyone to see just how does it. Just a thought. Have a great weekend an we shall catch you on your next adventure. As always safe and happy hunting/digging.😁👍👍
Thanks for taking us along with you! I wish more of the bottles you found could have been whole for you. I enjoy the creek walking very much but I do kind of miss the 900" deep holes you used to dig with Clayton too. You guys be safe, where ever the hunt for historic bottles takes you. Cheers, Paige
Brandon, it's very cool that your wife enjoys your hobby in which it created her hobby. How do you determine what creeks to walk in order to find bottles? Do you have to find out the age of the rivers/ creeks? I love it when you give us stories or give us information about the bottles, or a history lesson. Thanks
Love the blue marble! I'm thinking water moccasin would be worse case scenario, although snapping turtle would not feel good either. Why did you quit using your grabbers?
Another great video is always I managed to get a walkout myself the other day most I could find was a couple of old bricks I'll post them on the Facebook page and let you look at them
Glad your wife could join you, I have to ask where did she find leopard print waders? Those are so cool. I have a hard time just finding waders that fit.
Going back and catching up on videos I missed. Yes-cleaning bottles is risky-especially if they’re super dirty and you’re scrubbing/using warm water. I broke 2 mason jars and a flask last week cleaning up bottles-soap on a jar got too slippery and I dropped the jar on the flask and broke both. 🤦🏻♀️The other jar I broke accidentally scrubbing too hard to get some creek sick off the inside and popped the side out. Luckily they weren’t super old or rare items-30s-60s stuff we found at a new creek walking spot. But that black/brown creek sick/algae stuff is murder to get off!
Thank you for explaining what a Circle Slug was, been watching a few months now, finally I get the answer I've been waiting for. I'll go back through some vids to find out about Chericola. I know you explained once. They're the ones out Columbus Georgia, I think. Glad you found at least a few you can use.
@@adventurearchaeology Thanks. Found another old soda pre 1914 from my town and it is a lightly rashed but embossing is strong. It is like the amber ss coke i showed you last year but a clear one with no coke embossing.
Your focus issue is probably the lighting is making the bottle too close in shade/color to the gravel bar. You need a contrasting color in the background. Hold it up so green leaves or a dark bank or something is in the background. Or if you sprout a third hand, do like your wife did, and hold your hand behind it. Also, have you thought if it's possible to cut out the embossing of broken bottles and leading around it, similar to stain glass, and making an x-mas ornament or something? Would that be too heavy? Or a big conglomeration of them and make a stained glessesque framed doo-dad?
Would love to cut the embossing out however it is very time consuming. One day if this ever becomes a full time gig I’ll try to figure out more ways to use all of the pieces that I have accumulated haha
Can’t go wrong with a marble! But you did find some nice bottles. I know you’ve mentioned it before in some of your other videos. But what kind of Tumbler do you have? I would like to look into getting one.
You: I don’t really like sticking my hands down in water cause of turtles... later sticks hands down by big rocks on hillside not thinking that’s where snakes like to hide!! Me: 😳 😂😂😂
Nice hunt Brandon! I'm surprised your wife hasn't found that Coke hutch yet...I hope you get it recorded...I want to hear both of your reactions! It's out there waiting for you!👍🇺🇸
How do you look up vintage bottles? I have tones i live in a 100 year old home and tones of old bottles when i moved in been trying to look them up but no luck could you help me
Saw a site that talked about taking the bottoms (showing location names) of otherwise destroyed bottles and making them into ornaments. Another use of broken glass?
It’s a long shot but that Dresden piece might be from Dresden Ohio. It was once known as the porcelain capital of the world. About 15 minutes down the road in the town of Coshocton a business man from Jasper Alabama built a big apartment building in the 1890’s early 1900’s. Maybe they could be related
Hi Brandon, I am very new to your page; it has been very enjoyable & I have learned a lot. I am asking for someone to help me with what I need to do before participating in any of your auctions. I appreciate any direction on this that I can get. My home state is Arizona, so this whole “experience “ is very new to me. We don’t really have much rain & definitely few streams/rivers near Tucson. Thank you!
I e noticed you found a nice square shaped bottle. Cracked or broke at the top. Could you make a small vase out of them. I was thinking that it would look cool if you could and maybe your wife could sell that next to her jewelry….. Something different..
Years ago a buddy of mine pulled some time in a County jail and they would make glasses from coke bottles, they took a length of nylon trot line string 3 feet long and tied a pull stick to each end ( like a chain saw starter rope ) . One guy would hold the bottle tightly between his knees , the other guy would wrap a full turn around the bottle and start (sawing ) back and forth with the string ,when the the string got hot it would begin to stick to the glass and quickly the bottle was tossed into cold water . The bottle would go ‘tink ‘ and would be cut cleanly in half . The new glass would be ground smooth on the concrete cell floor .
Please don't apologise for the train! My dad used to drive faster if he saw one coming so we could run under the bridge as they rumbled overhead. I miss that about America. The trains in the UK just don't sing like the ones in the US. Ours honk like geese 🤭
I can’t watch this anymore. Why do you never dump the nasty sewage water out of the fn bottles when you are fondling them. Dump the mud water. Dump the water. Dump the fn water.
I love that you share this hobby with your wife. Great video too!
Thanks Sean! It is a fun family activity for sure!
Like all these Bottle hunts thanks for sharing your Adventure in the creek
Thanks for watching 🙏
Thanks for the shout out for Antique Bottle Glasses Brandon! Another great video!
Any time!
That looks like a great spot even with the broke ones. Thanks for taking us along!
Hi Brandon, always nice walking the creek with you. You just never know what the water will give up. Keep on keeping on. Joyce❤️🇺🇸
Thanks Joyce!

She is getting good at finding the unusual and neat items
Nick does an excellent job! 🇺🇸😎🇺🇸
Yes he does!

Thanks Dwight!
Great video! I love to watch you pull out the bottles. I keep my fingers crossed ever time you go in that you will find the bottle your dreams.
Awesome job you two 👍😎👍
Thanks Lisa!!
Thank you for sharing another great video 👍
Looks like a good day walking the creek, enjoyed the video! My daughter wants a pair of the leopard print waders now, haha!
Hi Brandon. Thank you for doing these videos.
Some lovely finds coming out that creek, ATB #scottishrelics
That a sulphide marble?! IThat’s a great find. That’s money right there man! Another good video
This was such a fun video to watch and it’s great to see your wife bottle hunting with you! Thank you Brandon for sharing this video bringing us along! 😃
Enjoyed watching. That marble was very cool. Thanks for sharing the hunt and finds. Good luck, happy hunting and take care.
Thanks!
Hello from Illinois , great video , stay safe !
Hey we will definitely stay safe! Thanks for watching 😎
Love those mini flasks. 😜
Great video always heartbreakers broken bottles but still great finds. 👍 my partner digs with me so I know how great it is to have the same hobbie glad I found your channel.
Nice treasures. Your wife found a whopper of a blue marble. : )
Enjoyed the video and again the scenery was amazing Thankyou to you both for sharing
Thanks so much Lindsay!
Hello from Knoxville Tennessee. It looked like a fun day with some good finds. I also need to get a pair of those waders like your wife’s. Have a great week and find a lot of bottles.
Waders are so handy!
Another great vid. 👍
Thanks Luke we need to dig now that it’s cooler!
Awesome. 👍🏻🇺🇸

I Need To Find A Hutch I Mean I’ve Found Hutch Tops... But I Will. Nice Finds!
Sometimes it’s a slow process but I guarantee there is one waiting on you out there!
@@adventurearchaeology Thanks I Hope You Find A Coke Hutch Soon!
Hey no fret on finding a glass insulators now a day broken or whole still a good find 👍 😉
I pick up the old broke purple glass it so beautiful I met someone that tumbles it very nice
Love the purple myself!
Nice finds once again Brandon! My remedy for damaged bottles (like ur cool flask) is Krylons clear glaze. Just be sure to use it outside cause it stinks!!! Rock on 🤘
Also it can be used to preserve paper labels!
Pop's here. I'm surprised you don't get eaten up by deer flys and the vampire bugs.
That's cool that your wife enjoys it too. You are so solicitous of your wife.
We’ve been married 15 years this December and the older we get the more we enjoy being around each other hahahah
Great video brandon. An congrats on all your finds this time out. Hay,maybe sometime soon if you haven't already, take a road trip down to Nick's. We may dig some this fall. A lot of it has to do with running out of ground to dig.
I'd be looking for china too. Or pottery. So fun. Always feel like I'm there with you two.
Alice we are glad we can take you along haha!
Those potato forks work great for bottle digging. I bought one recently and use it all the time.
Yes they do!
I forgot to say this in the last video, your wife's waders are so fun, now I want to get a pair. :-)
She loves them haha!

I just look for the old towns and get in the water closest to them haha
Im from ringgold ga. We have a creek running right through town. Ive never seen anyone walking in it before. I might go try my luck 1 day
our rivers up here are like muddy coffee
Love the blue marble! I'm thinking water moccasin would be worse case scenario, although snapping turtle would not feel good either. Why did you quit using your grabbers?
awesome
Great video!
Thanks Ethan!
I'll have to give you some pointers on the fine art of bottle raking lol
I need them apparently lol
Dresden is a very good porcelain manufacturer.
That’s what my dad said!
Great video once again man!
Thanks!!
Another great video is always I managed to get a walkout myself the other day most I could find was a couple of old bricks I'll post them on the Facebook page and let you look at them
Heck I’ll take a good brick any day!
If you like check out the two bricks I found. It's on your Facebook group my name is Ed I'm not going with the last name on TH-cam
The thicker bottom bottles can be used as candle holders
JW Kelly flask is neat there back in business in Chattanooga but source there whiskey from another distillery
The best part of my weekend is spent watching your channel. Keep getting wet. Cheers
Great video Brandon! Any plans to go see Robert at the Byrd farm? Loved that colab!
We are actually planning a day in December to get together!
You need a big back pack, like they use on Mudpies, in england. By the way, Mudpies is what the videos are called on TH-cam.
The water is so clear
Glad your wife could join you, I have to ask where did she find leopard print waders? Those are so cool. I have a hard time just finding waders that fit.
Check the previous video I provided a link for her waders in the comment section!
@@adventurearchaeology sadly it says they are no longer available. So very cute though.
You should go down to Coffee and Covington Counties!

Good video you should carry a bag with you lol
Lets Go Brandon!
Some cool finds. Looked and cant find info what is the ratio cutting/polishing agent to water do you use? Thanks for sharing.
1 tablespoon for the exterior and a 1/4 for the interior with water 1/4” above the copper line.
@@adventurearchaeology Thanks. Found another old soda pre 1914 from my town and it is a lightly rashed but embossing is strong. It is like the amber ss coke i showed you last year but a clear one with no coke embossing.

The big base is from Dresden, Germany, their semi porcelain as you puzzled out.
Haha I just couldn’t get it out lol
Can’t go wrong with a marble! But you did find some nice bottles. I know you’ve mentioned it before in some of your other videos. But what kind of Tumbler do you have? I would like to look into getting one.
It is from Jar Doctor. Give it a quick google. It’s not cheap but it’s something that will last a lifetime.
@@adventurearchaeology thanks 😊
You: I don’t really like sticking my hands down in water cause of turtles... later sticks hands down by big rocks on hillside not thinking that’s where snakes like to hide!!

Lol missing a few fingers…..
👍🤠⛏

She will turn one up hahaha meanwhile it’ll take me another decade hahaha
How do you look up vintage bottles? I have tones i live in a 100 year old home and tones of old bottles when i moved in been trying to look them up but no luck could you help me
I found a J.B. Fuqua milk a few days ago myself but couldn’t seem to find much info on it.
Did it have a town on it?
So i have a very similar McCormick bottle that i had found in my towns creek as well. Would that be the spice company or the poison company
It sure is!
Huches have metal in the caps so if the cap is still in it you could just go metal detecting you could find huches
Already got videos on that.
Oh I guess I haven’t seen that one yet
Saw a site that talked about taking the bottoms (showing location names) of otherwise destroyed bottles and making them into ornaments. Another use of broken glass?
The potato fork has four tines Brandon, you're only running at 25% efficiency 😲🍻
Hahaha yah I need a bottle on each!
@11:50 that straight side coke you can cut and turn into a funnel or what do you do with them broken like that
Honestly I haven’t done anything yet with the broken bottom bottles.
3400 miles later, back home, having been in all the Lower 48.
Time to replace a water heater.
Glad you had a safe trip!
*** napkin ring!!!**** make it into a napkin ring

Has your wife checked out those small refactories that melt glass in a microwave? I researched it & it works!
Wow never even heard of it!

Brookfield is in operation in nys with national grid. they have choked off all of our fishing spots

HA HA you will get some work dun now working with the boss.

you don't sell some of them glasses you have cut? I would like to buy a couple sets.
I sell them quite often. I sell out faster than I can have them made haha!
@@adventurearchaeology on your ebay? if you let me know when you have 8 ready ill buy them off ebay so you make all the money
Please sell the Wiseola glass!!
May I ask where did y'all find your wife's waders. I am looking for my wife. Hard to find. Ty
In the video from last week I pinned a comment with the link to her waders! Be sure to check it out!
