    Great show. The Marine 1st Division band is so awesome. This was my first live performance. Thanks again for recording the performance.

      Music213 . I just looked at Bandfest 2014. Is the composite band not going to attend? They are not on the schedules.

    Good Job 1st Marine Division Band. Plumb, Level, Square, Straight and On Time. Thank you USMC for defending this country and allowing us to feel safe in these troubled times we are experiencing.

    The Stars and Stripes forever that they played was also used in a film about kids with Ducks in their School on "Sesame Street" on Episode #3792 called "We have a nice School with Ducks!"

    2021 June 28th: It was very good performance of music instrument. They have skill for music instrument. I like those five military branches' music, and this music band's performance sounded pleasant to me. I talked about it is a normal country's normal military, and military music. Take a looking at those many cars, trucks and SUVs parking nearby in one previous video of Marine's band performing marching music which I like very much--Yeah, life in America is good and I am happy that I am here. Jie Song, 2021 June 28th At 2:00. Post Script: Now I only need my girlfriends to come over to me and spend some time with me, then ... ... life will be good.

      The original words were Caisons go rolling along". That's like the air force hymn was originally "The Army Air Corps."

    Just wondering, how come some of the bandsmen have red stripes down their trousers and some don't?

    • @det9879
      @det9879 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      +emptyangel The ones with the red stripes are non-commissioned officers

      @@danielmarso7242 The Blood Stripe means they have been in battle.

      Grace Gugliotti No it does NOT mean that a Marine has been in battle, if that was the case EVERY NCO has been in combat ?! I enlisted in the UNITED STATES MARINES in 1962 , BLOOD STRIPES WERE ON EVERY NCO's and Officers
      trousers, and we were not engaged in combat in 1962! The BLOOD STRIPE is to honor the fact that during the Mexican
      War ,the Marines captured the Chapultepec castle in Mexico City where the Emperor lived , and in that battle,all the
      NON COMMISSIONED OFFICERS (NCO) were killed . GYSGT. D.Marso , USMC ,USMCR
