- Kenny Dope and Louie Vega are Masters At Work, the legendary house-garage production and remix team that redefined the way we think of music in clubs. In recent months, the underground Techno community has got closer to Masters at Work than ever before with Louie adopting Richie Hawtin’s MODEL1 mixer, and Kenny playing at Hyte in Amnesia. This talk will cover their illustrious careers from the Nu Yorican Soul years through to the Sound Factory Bar in New York.

these 2 men are legends.
i always questioned myself in my youth, should i go to their rare dj
performings here in hamburg germany, or should i buy a few more 12"vinyl from the masters@work or nuyorican soul or all the other great
dj's from the 90s. but i was addicted to the vinyls, and maybe lost the chance to see them performing.
on the other hand, i'm happy to play
all this classic vinyls on my decks at home. that's also a big pleasure.

these guys are for me more the commercial way of underground. a lot of records are a bit boring and the same (they do three records in one night), but they have also some greater stuff
