This BG meta is fine, People just love complaining. It’s not our fault you only ranked up the broken meta-champions that do big yellow numbers and now don’t have a good option for this season
I agree with that Sparx265 post on the BG Meta. I just hit Thronebreaker this month. Some of my champs fit the meta and the holiday gold helps with rank ups but it's a frustrating meta. Its early, but thus far I am not enjoying it and don't plan on spending a lot of time unless I can get the hang of it
I remember, about 6 month ago, Kabam was not happy that people select high HP champs as Defender as the matches took too long. Well done this time by making it even harder to finish a match in time with all this no dame, no power gain ...
I love the new season! Noone cared about the dumb nodes that took the attention away from it being a pvp mode when it barely affected them, but now all these top accounts are salty that their meta options aren't usable. Ontop of that, the players with smaller accounts are mad that they rightfully can't compete. Oh well! Either rank up champs that apply to the nodes or ride the bench like other people did in earlier seasons. Or keep queing and feeding us wins, works for me either way.
Black Cat can actually still do Bleed immune fights if you let the heist run out and keep the card on the opponent then it’ll turn to sabotage debuff, then you can do damage that way but have stay aggressive to keep the debuff active
On a completely unrelated note I discovered that a duped warlock can do even bleed immune non robot champs. For that you need to get his infection up and then keep on parrying which will trigger his degen and count as a debuff tho it's only usable if you have no other choice. I had used him against thing and killed him with 60% health remaining
@@ItsFluidMCOC he has triple immunity and for this season you need to have dmg debuff to get power and can only deal dmg by using special . He is bad defender but with node like this the opponent is gonna cry when he has to deal with him
If they added some temporary BG rank up gems or something like a variant that offered r3 and r4 generic 6* gems then it wouldn't be so bad but nobody has enough iso to rank anything up just for BGs every month while trying to rank their own shit up in general
This meta is frustrating. My rating is around 200,000 so I don’t have a ton of champions which means I don’t have a lot of good DOT champions. Im losing more than half my matches because my champion pull rng is worse than my opponent’s.
This is probably one of the most fun metas in a long time. As long as you have decent knowledge about the game and certain champs, you shouldn't have a difficult time with this node. Just ban some of the super immune champs or find attackers with alternate ways of gaining power. People are either not reading about the nodes, or are overthinking it lol.
Yeah I use iceman and human torch becuaee they can still deal damage with incinerate and coldsnap and frostbite. Plus purgatory can gian power easily too
This meta is built for accounts with almost all champions, because as a throne breaker I have 7 characters TOTAL that even work on attack, and then some of them get banned, I can’t play this meta

Question for Rich and this group. I am new Thronebreaker this month and have a good number of 6* champs. Does it make sense to rank up and max 5 stars? Top-tier only like a Shuri, Zero, etc that I do not have as a 6*. Thoughts? Or, do I focus solely on my pool of 100 6-star champions at this stage?

A 6* r3 is stronger than a 5* r5(even if it's ascended), so if you already have a decent amount of rank 3 materials you can stop ranking your 5*'s BUT some champions can be useful even at lower raritys like heal reversal champions or node specific counters if you don't have this kind of champion as a 6*
If it's the best champions in the game, it's worth to rank 5 and ascend them even if they are 5 star champs. Most importantly look at their utilities. If it's a good utility champ and you don't have such champ in your 6 star roster then yes you must rank 5 that 5 star champ and ascend him to make more powerful
I’m 1 r3 from valiant and I still use 5* weapon, zemo, tigra, peni, domino, and onslaught since I don’t have a ranked 6* version. I’ve gotten to GC multiple times with 5* defenders in my deck. If they’re good, they’re good. I usually rank them up during level up because it’s easy points. So yes. Still viable even in story content if utility is needed.
I'm literally skipping this month bgs cuz I don't have champions that do damage like that the only one I got is black widow clairvoyant and its rare when she shows up to be picked 😭
Not understanding the hate on this season. I seriously sucked last season and really struggled to get past bronze. This season I haven't lost a single fight yet 😂
Honestly I feel this season isn't that bad. I am someone with a fuller roste,r but I don't have everyone ranked up and I'm still getting good wins. I can understand people frustration though and I blame Kabam for trying to push people through content faster before they get a chance to round out there champs.
I haven't even tried Crypt. I popped in and saw that every fight was like 150K+ and immediately exited out saying NOPE!! I'm not trying to have to burn all of my resources that I've managed to save up just to finish 1 quest no matter how great exploration rewards are. I really want that playable Maestro, but that's a steep cost. I'll wait until my 7*s are R5 like 5 years from now
Honestly wasn’t too bad for the comlletion rewards. Ægon tears through it and I’m definitely not the best player out there but I did it in 70 revives. You can easily build up that stash in just a month if you do the apothecary daily and do the daily event. And then you can save your green crystals for a bit extra. Also farm from 5.4.6 before it’s nerfed. Also also it’s worth farming l3 pots from winter soldier and Captain marvel in RoL. The initial rewards are great but additional you will also get the crypt rewards which aee quite juicy My team was: r4 6* ascended Ægon 7* r2 Shuri Heimdal Proxima Juggernaut
People that say the new meta sucks are either baby accounts and have a right to me mad, can’t read or they just suck and are exposing their lack of knowledge and skill of the game. It’s hilarious

I agree, in part. Since the more competitive part of BG's is in GC, then that area of the content should keep the added nodes. However, I feel that the added nodes are unnecessary in the Victory track.
I gotta disagree. Without a Meta there’s no skill involved. At that point it’s just who’s has the bigger roster and who can nuke the fastest. With no meta you would probably have no chance at beating a account that’s bigger than yours. it doesn’t matter if you’re a better player than them you just wouldn’t be able to go as fast as them. In my opinion that doesn’t sound fun at all

My average match is 40 seconds. It’s probably just a meta you need to get better at and your opinion will change
Idk if you know this but you need damaging debuffs to gain power lol

Is Rupture broken because Tigra, SamCap and Rintrah's ruptures weren't working for me. Anyone else having this issue?
Rintrah wasn’t working, scorpion was, and tigra was for me.
The BGs meta is shit, but passive AI that won't bait out specials really makes it 100x worse

If you don't have the resources to take 6*s to at least r3 you will do better working on your 5*s

There should be no meta in BGs, just leave it with bonus health and damage instead of making people use rank ups for one month at a time.
