She had all the power. He always behaved as a gentleman and treated her with respect.
She sent him a text message inviting him into her trailer to practise lines saying “I’m just pumping, come over… “. He has the text to prove it. He and another individual did so upon her invitation.
She wasn’t undressed , and she wasn’t alone.
She turned that around and falsely accused him.

@yvettetorres7829 where is the proof that he ever once “barged in”. It’s just a claim. Justin has proof of an invitation. She has no proof of being barged in on repeatedly. But let’s say he did. Do you really think if Blake lively just politely set a boundary and clarified what she’s comfortable with that this guy wouldn’t listen. He strikes as someone who would quickly respect verbal boundaries. Inviting someone to come in and read lines and then publicly shaming them for coming in, is sick.

Blake lively filed a complaint with an administrative court. A complaint full of misbegotten documentation that is spoiled. None of the text messages that she presented have proper chain of custody. She literally has no evidence. No court willwill except it. Justin Baldoni is going to destroy her in an actual court of law. Anybody who works in the legal field which I do can tell you that she was playing the game of public opinion. The problem is the best she hope for is that everybody hates Justin as much as her, because nobody likes her she’s incredibly unlikable. And Ryan Reynolds is taking his own reputation down with her.

    • @TheJunkFarm

      holy shit.
the cell phone was seized by Jones attorney. so an OFFICER OF THE COURT will testify that he gave it to the forensic company. the chain of custody is crystal clear.
and if you work in the legal field you'd know that EVEN IF the texts were fake, that's still not libel he's have to prove the times KNEW they were fake. so WTF is the point of this entire suit?
and for you to actually believe that, you also have to think steph jones AND HER LAWYERS committed several felonies.

Very smart move by his lawyers. I can't imagine the lawyers for NYT would suggest dragging this thru a jury, so the settlement outside of court from NYT will help to fund suing the pants off of BL AND RR and coming out on top ultimately. Our Federal Judges have way more important things to do then to listen to such childish claims of, he asked me how much I weigh, he entered my trailer while I was pumping my breast and he tried to add more sex scenes to the movie that weren’t in the script. This is beyond ridiculous in my personal opinion.

There is no way this opinion isn't based at least partly on it being Blake lively. There is so many actresses who feel they have to put up with this behaviour because of people like you. Once they have some fame and some power they use that to rewrite their contracts so they don't have to be put in so many sex scenes or naked all the time but that's not how it should be, you shouldn't force anyone to sit naked on set while every Tom, Dick and Harry can walk through and look at you. Jason Momoa gets alot of credit because when Game of Thrones first started he would yell at the production team to get Emily (Daenerys) a robe so she didn't have to sit nude in front of everyone. As soon as she had enough clout, she rewrote her contract to no longer have as many nude scenes. You shouldn't need to get famous and threaten to leave a show just to get basic decency. It absolutely should be in front of a federal judge until proper work place standards exist on every set.

Also, if the New York Times is not pulled back into the fold to actually do their jobs by fact, checking things correctly, that you could be one of those people they are victims of them in the future. Blake is a powerful, privileged, person who believes she is above reproach. She should not be allowed to weaponise workplace bullying and sexual harassment as a way to further her own interests. Workplace bullying and sexual harassment are very real and devastating for those who experience it. Blake’s narrative of what happened, the way she conducted herself, her past behaviour, sense of entitlement and powerful position make her claims feel disingenuous and concocted rather than reflective of a genuine experience of workplace trauma. Believing all victims does not mean doing so unquestionably. It needs to be considered that while the majority of victims who speak up are genuine and vulnerable there will invariably be a handful of people who will exploit these protections for their own gain.

We have to understand although justin baldoni a man is still a human. A human with a legal trial and claims that seem completely unbiased but pretty exploit the fact blake lively is a liar. Her "sexual harrasment" claims were behaviours purely needed for and during work, every other claim like seeing her naked her being shown a nake video we're missing context and were misrepresented. One thing people need to understand is that just because men are less inclined to show emotion doesn't mean you get to spew your emotion trauma onto them, justin also has a family, wife and kids. Not a bad take but giant assumption that a jury wouldn’t believe Blake wielded harassment as a means to take control of the production of the movie. Chances are she did that later on and made it appear the harassment was ongoing when it wasn’t.
Regarding the NYT hit piece against Justin, it’s not just the content but the headline itself that matters.
When you first saw the article the headline reads: “Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni and a Smear Campaign After 'It Ends With Us'”. In addition once you click on the headline another headline pops up: “‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.” These headlines appear as if the smear campaign is a fact that actually happened against Blake. The
Times should’ve added “alleged” in regard to the smear campaign since at this stage it’s an allegation not a legally proven fact.

I don't think he will try to argue that she had a "diabolical plan" from the beginning to take over the film. That is unrealistic and I bet her lawyer is smarter than that. Her intentions probably changed over time. IMO, they will argue that she consistently exuded manipulative behavior and overstepped her boundaries until she ultimately took control of the film because she disagreed with the creative direction. She had high stakes in this, wanted the film to be well-regarded by the public, and worthy of her status. It's been reported that she wanted it to be her "comeback". I'm speculating here, but a more believable narrative is that she didn't want the film to look "TV" or low-budget (as insinuated in the text messages) so she brought in big names who have worked on big blockbuster films.
I also don't think that it's realistic to hold the movie set to the exact standard of other corporate environments. That sets a dangerous precedent for any movie that has simulated sex or romance. People must be able to take from real life in order to make a movie or scene believable. Delicate matters will be discussed as a part of the creative process in any movie.

When I saw how mean her and Parker Posey were to the journalist, I did a dive in to see why this was even out in the first place. From what I can tell, it seems like she had the power in her court. And she seemed to have half-exiled Baldoni out of the premieres and media tours for the movie. Do I believe he may have been inappropriate at times, yes. Do I think she was inappropriate too? Yes. I don’t get why Blake’s manager and agent weren’t talking to Justin’s manager and agent…why would Blake need to hold a meeting to make demands…also wouldn’t the original PR agency be culpable as the agents that were fired were in their employ when they were planning a PR strategy and I assume would have been paid some money during this period?

You are so one sided in your analysis… to me Blake lively comes across as an entitled woman and vindictive and trying to hurt this man credibility and career

If Ryan was a clever man , he would have settled the whole suit and ensured Baldoni talent agency rehired him. As for Blake, she needs to go for media training and stop being so mean.

Ryan is clever! He has kept blake continuosly pregnant throughout the peak of her career so that he doesn't feel insecure and competitive like he did with scarlett.

Yea, it's very well explained but just because she's sounds so articulate doesn't mean she knows the law. There's a reason Justin lawyer decided to sue the NYT and in the filing they want a juror. First, they want the truth and narrative to be out in full display because this will then be discovery.
All emails, texts, everything will be in full display. It's time that these big editorials in due diligence not be one sided. Just because they were the ones who took down Epstein by Ronnie and suddenly they were the respected news to believe should not start to be like this messy National Enquirer.
It's already damaged his career, so what more can he lose if he's willing all bets just to make an example to NYT and Blake. That will be precedent in Hollywood and shakedown to all

The poltergeist of misogynistic comments against Blake Lively online is despicable. Workplace sexual harassment is taken very seriously under California law, in this case the Fair Employment and Housing Act, which governs such laws. The act of retaliation in response to an employee raising concerns about sexual harassment makes the charges even more egregious. Under California law, sexual harassment claims don’t even need to be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt in order to find that retaliation by the employer took place. Her complaint includes corroborating witnesses such as her driver, makeup artist, employees, and even her co-stars who played the younger roles in the movie! He is going to have a hard time disproving each and every one of her concerns (and the concerns of others on the set) that were raised in an actual HR meeting that was documented. Retaliation for raising concerns about sexual harassment in the workplace is ILLEGAL in California. Nobody should be subjected to the kind of work environment that she was subjected to, much less be retaliated against for doing so. She had every right to speak up about it. It’s horrific to see the peanut gallery on the internet piling on her for asserting her rights under California law!

A powerful, privileged, person who believes they are above reproach should not be allowed to weaponise workplace bullying and sexual harassment as a way to further their own interests.

@@bee_wilderedyou’re obviously not from California and know nothing about employment law here. The courts and the labor commission usually always favor the employee.

Please watch and share your opinion about Reynolds interview with Brandon Sklener ..... how is it that Reynold's and family can kid around and make sexual innuendos towaeds Brandon Sklener and they didn't consider it sexual harrasment ? why was that type of humor acceptable and not offensive to Sklener??? So then why is Reynolds so righteous and conservative with Baldoni?? plzzzzz ........ double standards here

Follow the money. Move ears $350mil , owned by investors Jastin company and Sony, who invested $25mil into movie. Blake earned $3mil as actress, and now she is looking from money from Justin with fake claims. JB and RR probably have plan to stop Justin to produce second movie as he has other book rights.
    Follow the money.

Hard to believe she was conspiring to take control of the movie, to the exclusion of its director and the actual owner of the rights to it.... when that's exactly what she accomplished, even getting her own cut of the film released?

Before the 2003 Iraq War, The New York Times published reports, particularly by Judith Miller, that supported claims about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). These articles, based on flawed intelligence, bolstered the case for war but were later discredited. In 2004, the paper acknowledged its reporting failures, sparking broader debates about media responsibility. #NewYorkTimesCancelled
