I always have to complain when I see no shoes no shirt no service signs. Don’t they know it’s important that I go barefoot to stay grounded? I cut the sole off the shoe and wear just the upper and most people don’t notice I’m actually in contact with Mother Earth. It’s just another part of their scheme to keep us unhealthy. No shoes no shirt no service. The most common place to see that is in a McDonald’s. And you know when you go into a McDonald’s not only do you eat the burgers which poison you, those beeps coming from the kitchen are also sonic attacks. They use frequencies to keep you addicted to the McDonald’s food. They put the French fry smells into the atmosphere so that when you pass by you will be tempted by the scent . Have you ever tasted McDonald’s fries outside of the store? They taste like cardboard with salt and they actually are. They are contracted by the government to make people addicted and malnourished and to keep people from being grounded to Mother Earth. And if you’ve read this far I’m totally messing with you and making up a rant.

I mean first off a lightning bolt is arcing from the clouds all the way to the ground your one and a half inch of rubber on your feet is not gonna help. Secondly. Wouldn’t it be like wearing a suit of armor? It’s counterintuitive, but that would be the best thing you could do because the lightning would have an easy path to take on the outside of the armor to get to the ground instead of going through your body.

He is grounding himself, some new age people call it Earthing. The theory is that our bodies build up static electricity which can cause inflammation and stress. Think of our bodies like a battery, when our skin touches the earth it’s like completing a circuit. The rubber on our shoes is an insulator. By putting a piece of copper through the rubber of his shoe he’s bypassing the insulation and completing the circuit.
An easier way to do this is to walk barefoot outdoors for a few minutes every day. I know it sounds silly but there is some science to back this up.

During the 1960s my mom was an RN and had to buy her own professional uniform clothing, including shoes. It was not like today where they just wear scrubs and sneakers. The hospitals even expected nurses to wear a professional looking white cap with the black stripe commemorating Florence Nightingale. Anyway, in the shoe section of the catalog where she bought her uniforms, there were some shoes with a conductive circle on the soles. I asked about this and the explanation was the anesthesiologists wore them to bleed off static charge because they work around a lot of oxygen, ether, and other potentially explosive gases and materials. A shoe with conductive sole might also be beneficial in an electronics manufacturing or servicing setting where you work with a lot of sensitive computer chips. Otherwise I'd have to be told why I might want a copper stud in my soles. You would not want to wear these shoes working around any live wires with high current because they could get you killed.

The theory is that grounding lowers inflammation and oxidative stress by reducing free radicals in the body. Free radicals are missing an electron and will bond to or steal them from other molecules/atoms, which can be a very bad thing, so providing a supply of free electrons by grounding is supposed mediate or mitigate that imbalance. Some people wear shoes like that but most just spend a little time barefoot in the yard each day. Certainly not something safe to wear in all situations but fine if they understand that. It's also referred to as "earthing"
